Nicholas and Benjamin were going to school here in the South Seas, so Delphine set aside an entire day to meet up with Leah and take the two little ones shopping for school supplies and some new clothes for school.
By the time they finished shopping, the two little ones were so hungry they could barely keep walking. Benjamin, with his freshly trimmed bangs, rubbed his empty little belly and said in a soft, sticky voice, "Mommy, Brother is a big turtle, and Benjamin is a little turtle."
Delphine couldn’t hold back a chuckle and scooped up the little girl, who couldn’t walk any further.
Leah handed all the shopping bags to the bodyguard, then picked up Nicholas and laughed, "Your little one here is sure to flip the world upside down someday. She’s so lively and clever—I can’t imagine how many sharp young boys she’s going to torment."
Delphine stroked the little girl’s head and replied with a laugh, "It’s good for girls to be sharp. When they grow up, they won’t be so easily fooled by others."
"Let’s just hope your Benjamin doesn’t fool others first," Leah said with a laugh, then teased, "She’s even wilier than Casimir, who pretends to be a harmless lamb at home. No wonder—she was raised by Ignatius. Just look at how Richard is constantly bossed around by Ignatius, and you’ll know."
The two of them, with the little ones in their arms, headed to eat Cantonese cuisine at a famous private restaurant in the South Seas. It was highly discreet, only accepting reservations from members.

Delphine exchanged a glance with Leah, then got up and walked to the door. She saw that Melody Cloud, currently at the center of scandal, had come out despite everything. Her face was pale and haggard as she argued with the restaurant manager.
"Talk about a run-in with an enemy," Leah sneered quietly, her voice low. "Leave her alone. Let’s just finish our meal and go."
As she spoke, the door of the private room next to theirs opened, and a tall, lean figure emerged. The man said indifferently, "What do you want with me?"
When Melody saw Ignatius, her eyes instantly reddened, and she choked back tears. "Brother Ignatius, please believe me—it’s all a setup. Everything you asked me about, I’ve already told you. Can I come in and explain?"
Melody’s teary face was as delicate as a pear blossom in the rain, but the man remained completely unmoved.
Ignatius’ phoenix eyes were dark and inscrutable as he coldly declined, "It’s not convenient to let you in."
"Brother Ignatius, the Yeager Family is using such despicable tactics against us. Are you really going to just leave me alone? At least consider Aunt Lan’s sake," Melody continued crying. She had never imagined Jocelyn Yeager could be so cunning and ruthless. Melody saw Delphine and Leah standing there, then caught sight of the sweet, adorable little girl. Thinking about her own fall from grace and the precarious position of her family under pressure, her mind twisted with jealousy and malice.
