Maximilian drove up and, before the car came to a complete stop, saw a black Maybach pull up in front of Miss Delphine and young master Nicholas. The gentlemanly Wilbur Turner from the Land Family got out to pick them up.

Ignatius Leclair’s face was frighteningly cold and he said chillingly, "Let’s go back."

Cassius Turner has recently been helping Delphine look at a few properties, conveniently picking up Nicholas Carter to go see them too.

"I’ve compared a few, and there are two properties that are quite decent. They are standalone villas, with good surroundings and security, but they’re not cheap. However, with the real estate market in our country changing prices daily, even if you sell the house after moving abroad, you wouldn’t be at a loss." Cassius Turner said with a smile.

The man wanted to say, I can gift you a villa, but fortunately, Wilbur Turner was still rational enough not to ruin the great current situation.

Delphine returned this time unsure whether she would stay long-term, so she chose an old residential area, wanting to experience the complexities of life with Nicholas, but when the quadrangle courtyard issue arose, her thoughts began to change.

"High safety is the priority," Delphine said softly.

"I think so too." Cassius Turner glanced at the beautiful mother and son. They were already so attractive, with a unique status. News of Delphine’s return would eventually leak out, and who knew if irrational fans might come to harass them.

"Mommy, are we moving?" Nicholas Carter looked at Uncle Turner, and then at Mommy, his big, dark eyes shining.

"Yes, that’s why I’ve brought you to take a look. If Nicholas likes it, we’ll settle on it." Delphine said gently to her son.

After seeing both properties, Nicholas preferred the second one because from there he could see the lush grape vines behind the villa.

"The vineyard behind the villa should be for self-supply." Cassius Turner saw the vineyard situated in such a pricey area and knew it was likely a rich man’s leisure activity.

"The soil and climate here aren’t suitable for growing grapes for winemaking." Delphine, who previously lived in a small town in Southern France, frowned, wondering if the grapes were indeed just for eating and ornamental purposes.

"The gentleman and lady are indeed discerning. Behind the villa is private property, said to be owned by a person of Chinese descent overseas. It’s quite extravagant; dozens of acres have become an ecological planting area. It’s not just grapes — there’s a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. I can’t imagine the wealth needed to do such an outrageous thing." The young man in charge of selling the house exclaimed.

Villas here start at tens of millions. How many billions would those dozens of acres cost?

They finally settled on the second villa, which came with two small gardens in the front and back, and spanned three floors with luxurious American-style decor. For the mother and son, it was a bit large, but given the well-known security system and the affluent residents, Delphine resolutely decided to buy it.

The purchase nearly depleted most of her savings.

Cassius Turner drove Delphine and her son back to the quadrangle courtyard. When the car stopped at the alley entrance, Wilbur Turner called out to Delphine, with deep-set eyes, saying, "I’ll handle the villa’s paperwork for you. Take tomorrow off to pack at home, and I’ll help you move then."

Wilbur, having heard from Yeats Howard about what happened that night, couldn’t rest easy with Delphine staying even one more day at that quadrangle courtyard.
