Chapter 325: Amidst the Brilliant Morning Glow, A Man Steps Down from the Helicopter

Sylvester saw the shock on their faces, nodded slightly, and couldn’t help but feel a trace of admiration for Ignatius Leclair.

They were of a similar age and moved in the same circles. Ignatius, who had lived abroad since childhood, returned and immediately outshone all the young heirs of the prominent families, effortlessly suppressing the fame of the Four Young Lords of the South Seas.

Originally, he had underestimated this heir of the Leclair Family. But after the affair at Fenghai, he was struck with the realization that this man might possess even more daring and decisiveness than he let on.

Even Stone Leclair wouldn’t dare to pull off something like this. Yet Ignatius not only did it but came up with a brilliant excuse to turn the dreaded Warlord’s Domain of the Golden Triangle into a weapon in his own arsenal.

This was beyond what power alone could achieve. This man was dangerously shrewd, almost demonic. As long as he remained in the Leclair Residence, those of other old families wouldn’t see the light of day for another century.

"Regardless of the reason for Fenghai, the immediate priority is for you all to report back safely." Sylvester’s second uncle spoke calmly and decisively.

Delphine nodded, borrowed a phone, and walked to the deck to make a call to the Leclair Family and the Squire Family.

Sylvester noticed Jocelyn Yeager remaining motionless and asked meaningfully, "Third Young Master, are you really unaware of who orchestrated your kidnapping?"

Sylvester, unlike a frivolous libertine, wasn’t one to act carelessly. With both Reginald Yeager and Delphine kidnapped and the journey undertaken aboard a ship from the Cloud Family, there had to be someone assisting from the inside.

Jocelyn’s reaction was overly peculiar, prompting Sylvester to entertain an absurd thought: Was this entire scene a performance orchestrated by the Third Young Master himself? Could it be that he intended to abduct little Delphine on a romantic escapade while framing the Cloud Family for the crime?

The more Sylvester considered it, the more plausible it seemed.

"I hope Young Master Cloud will identify the person behind the scenes soon." The man’s handsome yet pallid face—due to excessive blood loss—was tinged with a hint of stiffness as he spoke slowly.

Before his words fully landed, the solemn voice of Sylvester’s second uncle sounded, "They’ve arrived."

Outside the command room, massive warships surrounded both the merchant ship and the *Silencer*; they commenced a military takeover.

The crew of the merchant ship were ordinary people. Having never encountered such a scene, they huddled on the deck, pale-faced and terrified.

The poor signal at sea left Delphine unable to make her calls before fully-armed troops descended from the naval vessels in just a few breaths, swiftly taking control of the exploration ship.

The previously-bound crew members, seeing Delphine’s pale face, mustered enough courage despite their own fear and said shakily, "Miss, you... you should stand behind me. Even if they find out you were smuggling, the worst that will happen is you’re sent back. I’ve seen this happen plenty of times."

Delphine glanced at him and managed a strained smile. Feeling lightheaded and heavy-bodied, she realized the ordeal of the night had likely left her feverish.

At that moment, the first streak of crimson light appeared in the Eastern sky. The clouds were ablaze, and the sun was about to rise.

Delphine closed her eyes, feeling the bone-chilling sea breeze, listening to the joyful cries of seabirds, and experiencing a surreal sense of distance, as though she were living in another lifetime.

The thunderous sound of the helicopter’s engine grew louder, coming closer.

The crew, terrified, turned pale and shaky, without a single person daring to speak.

The helicopter hovered overhead, then landed on the deck. The fiery newborn sun strained to leap out from the clouds, draping the entire scene in a vivid glow. The vast blue seawater was half-blue, half-red, breathtakingly spectacular.

Such a magnificent sunrise was rare, even for seasoned sailors.

Everyone gaped as they watched in awe. Amid the blazing morning light, a man descended from the helicopter—a man of extraordinary beauty and cold, stern features.

Towering with a lean and commanding presence, the man emanated an aristocratic aura that made others avert their gazes. He walked straight in their direction with steady, imposing strides.
