Chapter 734 - 753: Odin Resolves the Crisis (7)
Two people skilled in this, always know how to make themselves and each other happier.
Victor Williams thought wildly and reached out for the wine glass again. All of Windsor Myres’s wine on the table had been drunk, so he snapped his fingers and had the waiter bring more.
He needed alcohol.
Without the stimulation of alcohol, he couldn’t find a woman.
He would suddenly think of Olivia Williams.
It’s strange, Olivia Williams is actually somewhat dull and uninteresting.
Yet, he just likes her.
At last, he could face himself honestly. He didn’t know when it started, but he had grown fond of Olivia Williams.
Olivia is different from the other women who hang out with him. She is gentle, like a little lamb at home, agreeing to whatever his mother says, totally compliant. She follows routines, goes to school and work, and lives such a plain life, but she seems to enjoy it.
Olivia is too stable. Whenever he thinks of her simple face, he feels very secure, as if a weary bird returning to the nest.
For such an obedient person, usually she can’t withstand his teasing, he is confident.
But unexpectedly—
She suddenly found a man and married him.
Victor Williams was annoyed to death and downed another glass of alcohol.
He raised his hand and rubbed his neck with force, locking eyes with Windsor Myres.
He lunged forward.
Windsor Myres shifted to the side, almost fell off the sofa but was caught.
Mia Ginger clasped her hand on Windsor’s shoulder and asked, "Are you okay?"
"Not drunk." Windsor Myres stood up holding the sofa.
Mia Ginger gave Victor Williams a look of disdain.
She had never disliked anyone so much before; Victor had refreshed her bottom line!
Utterly annoying!
Victor Williams was stared at by her, stunned for a moment and couldn’t help but laugh. He lazily leaned back, stretching both arms on the sofa back, and said, "Long time, no see."
"Scumbag!" Mia Ginger glanced at the empty wine glasses on the table and asked Windsor Myres, "How much did you drink?"
"Not much." Windsor Myres held onto the sofa and dry-heaved.
She hadn’t drunk for a long time, it was really unbearable.
Mia Ginger was about to help her walk when her shoulder was suddenly held.
Victor Williams had already stood up, and seeing her turn back, he pinched her face with one hand, squinting and said, "Why do you like to meddle so much?"
The smell of alcohol sprayed across Mia Ginger’s face.
Mia Ginger was instantly so angry she was stunned.
Meddling?
This word had a grudge with her today, it was absurd!
She grasped Victor’s wrist with one hand, releasing the supporting Windsor Myres, who weakly fell down.
Mia Ginger was caught off guard, feeling more troubled.
Too lazy to bother with Victor Williams anymore, she turned to look at Windsor Myres.
Turning back, she found herself face to face with Victor Williams’ handsome face close by.
Victor Williams slept until the afternoon, hadn’t eaten a bite and came straight to the bar, drank a lot, feeling kind of tipsy.
Just now he unconsciously pinched her face, but was truly surprised by the warm and smooth touch under his hand, feeling indescribably wonderful.
Mia Ginger had good skin, especially after being in hospital for a while recently, carefully cared for by Aurora Cooper for two months. Her body recovered well, and her skin became even whiter and tenderer, so delicate it seemed it could be broken with a breath.
