Chapter 534 - 536: Thank You [Extra for ’Cai Cai’]

When they returned to the hospital, Grandpa Wu was taking Mo Shu’s pulse.

Mo Shu lay on the bed with her eyes closed, as if she were sleeping.

Yu Siqiao tiptoed into the room, followed by Ji Nan, who brought in some food from outside.

Seemingly smelling the aroma of the food, Mo Shu opened her eyes.

As she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the man who had become completely renewed.

Mo Shu’s gaze swept over and noticed that Yu Siqiao had really lost a lot of weight.

Yu Siqiao paused, meeting her seemingly weary eyes and felt a slight tightening in his chest.

The way she looked at him was no different from the way she looked at anyone else.

Ji Nan quickly took the bowl.

Yu Siqiao watched Mo Shu silently consuming the liquid food, and the regret in his eyes deepened.

She must really hate him.

Yu Siqiao felt an oppressive heaviness inside him. He tried to speak to her, but after Mo Shu finished her meal, she seemed tired and lay back down.

Only a dim light was on in the room.

Mo Shu tried to call someone just as she propped herself up, but was supported by someone.

The person behind her had been quietly in the hospital room for who knows how long; now supporting her, his arms were thin yet strong.

Mo Shu was helped up, and she said, "Thank you."

Yu Siqiao momentarily paused his movements, inexplicably, his heart felt a jab.

He stayed quiet for a moment and then said, "It’s me."

"I know."

Mo Shu didn’t need to look to know who it was.

Leaning on his hand for support, she attempted to get up and said, "Could you please call Ji Nan for me? Thank you."
