"I am Golden Leopard, sent by our boss to meet up with you. We've already arrived in Wancheng; come and pick us up." The man on the phone said.
"Where are you located? I'll send someone over to pick you up immediately." Man Luo asked.
"Haha, Sister Manluo, you'd better come personally to escort us. I don't trust anyone else." Golden Leopard laughed and said.
"Don't trust?" Man Luo couldn't help but feel some disdain for this Golden Leopard. "Alright, tell me your location, I'll bring people to pick you up."
"We're now roughly at the dike north of Humen Bridge, come quickly." Golden Leopard said.
"Got it, I'll come over immediately." Man Luo responded, and then hung up the phone.
"Sister Manluo, have they arrived?" Qing'Er, who was standing by, asked.
"Yes, they arrived; they called us to pick them up. A bunch of cowards still insist I go personally. With such courage, I reckon they won't be of much help even if they come." Man Luo said helplessly.
"Can't we go pick them up?"
"They don't trust anyone else. Let's go, together." Man Luo said.
Soon, Man Luo and Qing'Er went outside the hotel, along with several men, and drove toward Humen. About fifteen minutes later, the car arrived at the Pudong Bridgehead area. Sitting in the car, Man Luo glanced around but didn't spot Golden Leopard.
"Where are they?" Qing'Er, in the passenger seat, looked around and asked.
"I don't know where they are, I'll call them to ask." Man Luo reluctantly took out the phone and called Golden Leopard. This bunch is something else; can't even find where they are, yet they come to help – more likely to hinder!
Nevertheless, although the people were unseen, the call connected quickly.
"Haha, hello, Sister Manluo." Golden Leopard laughed and said.
"Where are you guys?"
"A patrol car just passed by, there are a lot of us here and we're afraid of getting noticed, so we hid. Follow the dike forward a bit and you'll see us." Golden Leopard said.
"Understood."
Man Luo said and hung up the phone, then instructed the female driver in front, "Turn left up ahead and follow the dike forward."
"Yes, Sister Manluo." The woman responded and turned forward.
There were no streetlights on either side of the dike, so it was pitch dark around. Man Luo's car only had its low beams on. After driving more than a mile, a group of men stood in the middle of the dike. At a glance, there were about twenty, all in leather jackets, looking like a bunch of thugs.
The one leading them looked the most striking and intimidating. He was bald, and astonishingly, a brazen Cheetah was tattooed on his bald head.
As Man Luo looked at this person, there was no doubt that it was the Golden Leopard from the phone.
"Haha, you must be Golden Leopard, right?" Man Luo got out of the car, walked up to the Red Hair, and said lightly smiling. For some reason, Man Luo didn't have a good feeling about this Golden Leopard she had never met, maybe because he was a man and also seemed timid.
