Chapter 1011 - 1026: Encircling the Tsar

Three hours can feel very long, yet not long at all."Captain Thibodeau, we have a situation!" reported the recon officer who had been undercover on the factory rooftop.

"What's the situation?" Thibodeau asked.

"There's a light three kilometers ahead of the factory, moving in this direction," the recon officer said.

"Understood, keep observing."

While Thibodeau was on the call, Lin Mu had already picked up his binoculars with night vision.

However, Lin Mu didn't see anything, possibly due to the height.

"Prepare yourselves, the enemy is approaching. Await my command for unified action, no one is to expose their position early, understood?" Thibodeau said into the earpiece.

"Understood."

After five more minutes, the light from a car moved toward the factory.

"They're here."

Soon, a few cars drove into the factory. Lin Mu took a look; there were only three cars in total. The middle one was a modified Land Rover, and the other two were vans.

Upon a glance, Lin Mu noticed the Land Rover was clearly modified with bulletproof glass, making normal bullets incapable of penetration. The car stopped, but there was no movement from the Land Rover, while the van doors opened.

From the cars, around twenty burly men stepped out, all in matching black suits and black leather shoes, with military rifles in their hands. After getting out, the twenty gunmen quickly spread out, forming a defensive circle.

The other van had no one exit from it; it simply remained still, as did the Land Rover in front.

"Thibodeau, another car is approaching," reported the scout on the rooftop.

Upon hearing this, Lin Mu quickly looked toward the factory entrance; similarly, a Land Rover and two vans drove into the factory and stopped in an open area between two factory buildings. The doors of the arriving vans opened, and another twenty men got out, but these men were not dressed in uniform like the previous group. They were casually dressed and looking rather disorderly, yet they all carried assault rifles. At this moment, the door of the front Land Rover opened, and Lin Mu glanced to see a familiar face—it was none other than the unfortunate Ivan, whom he had taught a lesson a few times.

Ivan, also in a black suit, got out from the passenger side of the Land Rover and walked toward the Land Rover at the back.

The window of the passenger side of the rear Land Rover rolled down, and the two exchanged a few words, after which Ivan returned.

Sitting in the back seat of the Land Rover was a small-statured man. Despite his size, Lin Mu could sense the strong aura he exuded, not inferior in the least to the two special guards beside him. This man was indeed the number one figure of the Tsar Group, the Tsar. Although his appearance was ordinary and he might even be classified as partially disabled, he was indeed the Tsar, the notorious gangster boss in the Middle East and the number one kingpin in Russia's underworld.

After Ivan got back into the car, he sat in the passenger seat and turned to smile at the Tsar, "Boss, I've arranged everything on that side."

The Tsar nodded from the back seat, "Take the money and get the goods."

"Boss, don't you want to go down and have a look?" Ivan asked.

"I seem to sense a bit of danger. You go down first and be careful," mumbled the Tsar, his expression stoic.

"Danger? What danger?" Ivan replied with a dismissive look, "Our people are all around; what danger could there be?"

"Don't ask, just be cautious. If nothing happens, all the better. Go and get it done," the Tsar told Ivan.

Ivan nodded in agreement, then took a small suitcase and got out of the car, gathering a few strong men to head toward the vehicles behind.

A guy from the opposite Land Rover also got out, exchanged a few words with Ivan, and then headed to the last van.

The van door opened, and the two entered the vehicle. After about three to four minutes, Ivan emerged from the van.

"Move the items to our car," Ivan ordered his subordinates.

The subordinates nodded, then unloaded several large wooden crates from the van and quickly loaded them onto another van. This van, apart from the driver and passenger seats, had its rear seats removed, looking like it was specifically used for storing items.

When they opened the car door, Lin Mu noticed this detail, allowing him to estimate the number of people at the scene. This move was crucial; knowing the enemy and oneself is the key to victory. Only by understanding the enemy well enough can one be invincible.

If they couldn't determine how many people were in that van, Lin Mu and his team wouldn't dare to act rashly, especially since they had only around twenty people on their side. Calculating this way, there were about forty people on both the Tsar's side and the opposing forces.

Based on this formation, it wasn't too difficult to deal with the Tsar's men, because their own snipers were in position and could strike from the shadows.

"Snipers, keep an eye on the front Land Rover; the Tsar is inside. Await orders, ready to take the shot," Thibodeau said coolly into his earpiece as the moment for action neared maturity.

"Captain Thibodeau, their Land Rover is bulletproof. Even if the bullet can penetrate the glass, the trajectory will change. Based on the heat sensors, there are not only the Tsar but also three other people inside; the exact position of the Tsar is unknown," the sniper reported through the earpiece.

Thibodeau pondered for a moment, "Keep observing and await my orders."

"Yes."

"Captain Thibodeau, it's time to act," Lin Mu said, observing the situation below.

At this time, Ivan had already ordered the arms to be moved to their car, and the money had been handed to the other party. The transaction was complete; if they didn't act soon, it would become very difficult.

Thibodeau nodded and shouted into the earpiece, "Attention all teams, prepare to act."

"Ready."

"Fire!" Thibodeau commanded, then raised his gun and started shooting at the opponent.

As the gunfire erupted, three to four on the Tsar's side quickly fell, and the area descended into chaos. The Tsar's men scurried for cover and began to retaliate. Seeing this, Ivan quickly ran into the Land Rover.

"Boss, it doesn't look good. It seems like there's a military unit," Ivan said as he got inside.

Inside the car, the sound of bullets hitting the glass could faintly be heard, but with the special modifications, the bullets couldn't penetrate.

"No need to panic. Start the car; while our men cover at the back, get us out of here," the Tsar said calmly.

"Yes, start the car, quick," Ivan instructed the driver.
