Chapter 907 - 903
Chapter 907 - 903
2-in-1 Chapter
---------------
Countless Deep Dwellers surged toward Bumblebee's location.
Specter glanced at Bumblebee, then swept his gaze across the surroundings. After assessing the situation, he rose, his form surfacing within view of the approaching Deep Dwellers.
A wave of intense, overwhelming fear radiated from Specter, spreading in all directions. It was the power of a Sequence-level entity—far beyond what these Deep Dwellers could resist. The pressure was like an aura field: any Deep Dweller that entered it was affected. Some lost control of their bodies; others disintegrated entirely.
The released aura fragments, once freed, were all drawn downward—straight toward Bumblebee.
Specter kept expanding his power.
Time passed slowly. Despite the deaths piling up, the number of Deep Dwellers only increased. Compared to before, there were even more of them.
The Gatekeeper Continent was no smaller than the Human Continent. Deep Dwellers stood in direct opposition to the Gatekeepers—a sign of how many of them lived in the deep seas.
Gradually, Specter began to falter. Even for a Sequence 1 being, sustaining this level of power output consumed a tremendous amount of energy. And Ron wasn't nearby. Bumblebee also seemed to sense the danger and began accelerating.
Suddenly, over a dozen S-rank Deep Dwellers broke free from Specter's fear domain. His power had reached its limit—otherwise, no matter how many S-rank Deep Dwellers there were, they wouldn't have been able to resist.
As the creatures closed in on Specter—
Vroom!
The roar of an engine erupted.
A yellow blur shot through the water and pulled up beside Specter like a lightning bolt.
Bang!
The door opened. Then slammed shut.
The next instant, Specter was seated in Bumblebee's passenger seat.
The Deep Dwellers hesitated for a moment, then charged toward Bumblebee. But Bumblebee had no intention of engaging.
Full throttle.
Maximum output.
Speed—pure speed.
Deep Dwellers were already apex predators underwater in terms of movement. Some resembled swordfish—built for swimming. But they were still slower than Bumblebee.
In a flash, Bumblebee had shaken off the majority of pursuers. Only a few remained on its tail.
Bumblebee tilted upward, its nose lifting.
Whoosh!
The vehicle burst through the surface.
On the ocean, its speed increased even further—faster than underwater. The surface became its highway. The trailing Deep Dwellers fell farther behind until they could only watch helplessly as Bumblebee vanished from view.
Nearby, several Gatekeepers caught their attention instead.
The Deep Dwellers, furious, turned and vented all their rage on the Gatekeepers.
The Gatekeepers fled at top speed.
"Damn it!"
"What the hell is going on?"
"Is this some kind of trap against us Gatekeepers?"
As for Bumblebee—few Gatekeepers or humans had clearly seen what had just happened. All they noticed was something golden streak past them in a flash.
"What was that golden flash?"
"Golden flash?"

.
Ron and the others had just retreated from the Desolate God zone. They had taken down several Desolate Gods, but had not obtained a Forbidden Core.
"Maybe we have to kill higher-ranked beasts to get one."
"In that case, we'll need even greater power."
Ron turned his gaze back toward the Desolate God zone. He had a rough sense of his own capabilities—but he hadn't yet had a chance to fully unleash his power since advancing to S-rank.
There had been no worthy opponent on the Human Continent. If the Ant King were still alive, maybe. But the King was long dead. Even the Royal Guard-tier Chimera Ants were no match for him—let alone anything else.
Not even S-rank human Nen users posed a challenge.
Suddenly, Ron sensed something and turned his head.
"Captain, what is it?" Machi and the others immediately grew alert at his reaction.
"No danger," Ron said.
Before the vehicle even appeared, the wind generated by its insane speed had already reached them.
A direct line cut through the terrain from the coast to Ron's current location. Nothing could stand in Bumblebee's way. Massive stones, charging monsters, deeply rooted flora—everything was smashed aside.
Nothing could stop an S-rank Bumblebee. Compared to before, its strength had undergone a qualitative leap. At such speed, even a Sequence-level being wouldn't dare take the impact head-on—they'd sidestep and react afterward.
As Bumblebee neared, it decelerated. By the time it reached Ron, it had already come to a complete stop.
Ron raised a hand.
Bumblebee vanished.
A door opened. Specter stepped out.
Bumblebee was a pure Nen Beast—it could disappear directly, its aura returning to Ron. But Specter was different. He had fused with Rosgell's body and had a physical form.
That was why Bumblebee had brought him back manually.
"I forgot to give Specter a card," Ron muttered. "If he had one, he could've returned using card power. But it's not a big problem. At least now I've seen Bumblebee's top speed and its aura consumption rate."
Seeing Bumblebee, Machi and the others relaxed. They now understood it was one of Ron's Nen Beasts.
Ron looked again toward the Desolate God zone.
"We'll rest a few days. After that, I'll go all out and try to take one down and see if it drops a Forbidden Core."
"You three won't act. Stay outside on guard."
"Ponzu, that Inner World entrance you found—anyone else been near it?"
Ponzu shook her head. "No one. Nothing within several hundred kilometers."
Ron nodded.
Compared to disaster-class creatures, what Ron cared more about was the Inner World. After all, the Inner World was connected to the Ascension Relic.
Ascension Relics were key to Sequence power.
"I wonder what this so-called Inner World is actually like."
He had some vague guesses—but nothing certain.
All he had were fragments of information left behind in Rosgell's soul.

.
Three days later, Ron had fully recovered. One by one, figures began appearing at his side—his entire roster of combat-type Nen beasts.
Sequence 1: Specter.
Sequence 1: Gluttony.
S-rank peak: Wither.
S-rank: Bumblebee.
A-rank peak: Natsu.
A-rank peak: Uchiha Sasuke.
A-rank: Yuzuru Yamai.
A-rank: Trafalgar Law.
A-rank: Akame.
And a Blue-Eyes White Dragon card.
Chii and Erina were non-combat types, so there was no need for them to appear. Including Ron himself, an S-rank entity, this lineup now surpassed any known force within the Human World. Even the entire Kakin Empire could not match him in terms of quality.
Among humans, the only one whose comprehensive strength might still surpass Ron's was Don Freecss—the legendary figure who roamed the Dark Continent freely, whose very existence had transcended humanity.
For Ponzu and the others, this was their first time seeing Ron in full deployment. His strength left them shaken. They had seen a few Nen users who specialized in beast-type Nen before, but never anyone who had reached this level. Ron alone was equivalent to an elite, top-tier team.
He looked out toward the Desolate Beast zone ahead and gave the command. "Move."
Gluttony lunged forward instantly. Sequence aura burst forth. Its massive maw opened wide—devouring anything it touched.
Devour. Devour. Devour!!
It consumed everything in its path. Even Desolate Beasts, it could digest and convert into pure energy. Grunts, squad leaders, even division commanders—none could stop it.
In moments, Gluttony had drawn the attention of the entire enemy force. The Desolate Beasts all charged toward it.
"Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu raised both fists. Flames ignited across them, then merged. The red blaze turned golden—so intense the air seemed to ripple.
Boom!
The fireball crashed down and exploded, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. Numerous Desolate Beasts were blasted back, ignited by the flames. The blast cratered the soil into a shallow bowl ten meters wide, fused sand into black glass at the edges.
Sasuke lifted his hand. "Chidori: Falling Thunder!"
A bolt of lightning descended and spread across the area, enveloping a wide radius. Even Desolate Beasts found their movements disrupted, stunned by the electricity. The current leapt from body to body, turning pools of blood into glowing filaments and carving dendritic burn-patterns across bark and stone.
Only Akame's attacks had limited effect. Her blade pierced straight through, but since Desolate Beast cells were separated and dispersed, her ability to kill at the cellular level was significantly reduced. Only the cells directly struck were destroyed; the rest were unaffected.
Her sword could not deliver fatal wounds.
A Desolate Beast slammed into Akame, swatting her aside. Ron instantly recalled her before she was eliminated. Since Akame's abilities were ineffective against these enemies, there was no reason to keep her active.
Ron refrained from attacking himself. Instead, he manipulated space—creating openings and defensive support for his beasts.
Yuzuru Yamai began to play. A melodic performance echoed across the battlefield. Under its influence, Ron's side gained buffs, while the Desolate Beasts came under pressure.
