In the kitchen, Lu Jinghan cooked another bowl of noodles for Han Xi, as the previous bowl had already gone soggy.
Lu Jinghan carried the freshly cooked noodles back to the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed: "Get up and eat a little."
Han Xi obediently sat up from the bed: "Jinghan, I just... I don’t even know why I’m upset. Am I being overly sensitive right now?"
"If you weren’t angry or sensitive, it would mean you don’t care about me at all, and that’s when I’d be unhappy."

"Why did you get up so late today? You’ll be late for work in a bit."
"I don’t feel like going to the office these days. I want to take you out to relax. Is there anywhere special you want to go?"
Han Xi pressed her face against Lu Jinghan’s chest, where she could clearly hear his strong heartbeat through the thin pajamas: "I want to go somewhere quiet, just the two of us."
Lu Jinghan lightly rubbed his chin against Han Xi’s head, thinking before speaking: "How about I take you to pick some tea?"
"Sure, I’ve never picked tea before."
These past few days, Han Xi had been so upset by Su Luo that going out to unwind seemed like a good idea. She reached into the bedside table drawer for the remote control and turned on the TV: "I want to laze around today."

Lu Jinghan affectionately rubbed his chin against Han Xi’s head, then picked up his phone to search for information on their travel destination. Some essential travel planning had to be done in advance.
Han Xi picked a TV show to watch with the remote, then turned to look at Lu Jinghan: "What are you looking at?"
"I’m checking the travel guide, booking the hotel and car in advance so it won’t be a hassle, and seeing what fun places there are to visit."
Lu Jinghan pulled Han Xi into his arms, one hand scrolling through his phone screen.
Han Xi responded with an "oh" and continued to watch the TV show. She didn’t know how long she had been watching when she gradually fell asleep.
