Lu Jinghan flicked the ash from his cigarette into the ashtray: "I know."

Han Xi took a set of pajamas out of the wardrobe and was ready to go to the bathroom to bathe.
Lu Jinghan got down from the bed, walked quickly over to hold Han Xi’s hand: "Let me help you bathe, since you still have wounds."
Entering the bathroom, Lu Jinghan leaned down and turned on the bathtub’s water: "Manman just called and seemed quite upset by Su Luo."
Lu Jinghan thought for a moment and then decided to tell Han Xi; even if he didn’t say anything, Han Xi would find out the next day.
"Is that Su Luo really so formidable?"

Lu Jinghan stood up to help Han Xi take off her clothes: "She shouldn’t trouble you; she’ll only come after me. I just need you to trust me."
