Chapter 53.1: Until You're Sick of It (3)

LifeHunter left the Platinum Coin Shop and headed toward the Adventurer’s Guild. In the central plaza in front of the Platinum Coin Shop, clerics were handing out flyers to novice heroes.

LifeHunter received one too.

There was also a photo of Saintess Airi.

She was shown praying, and looked incredibly holy.

LifeHunter put the flyer into his inventory and entered the Adventurer’s Guild. When he placed the materials he had obtained from the Land of Erosion on the counter, Tia awarded him Contribution Points.

There were many incidents that occurred at the Adventurer’s Guild, so she often treated heroes harshly, but today she was smiling.

“Um..., the deadline for the quest has passed...”

“It’s okay. Hero nim. That can happen.”

“Huh?”

“Just be careful next time.”

Tia was now far more lenient than before.

“...Scary.”

“Um..., yeah..., let’s be careful.”

Seeing Tia like that, the heroes began to watch her closely and act cautiously.

‘She must be having a really hard time.’

Even LifeHunter could tell that Tia wasn’t normal.

He looked at her with a pitiful gaze and gave her a gift.

LifeHunter left the Adventurer’s Guild, rode Elkin, and exited Evanth.

The fields around Evanth were flowing with golden waves. Wheat and numerous crops were growing, stretching out toward the horizon. Their swaying in the wind was so beautiful that LifeHunter paused to admire it.

“Wow! Mia nim is amazing!”

“Meow!”

The Beastkin were helping with farm work while waiting for the heroes who had gone out of the Magic Barrier. Since the harvests were being generously shared, the Beastkin were even more eager to help.

In front of the Magic Barrier, a village connected to Evanth had formed.

It had grown so much that even some NPCs from Evanth had relocated there.

‘Nice.’

The sight of people helping each other and developing together was dazzlingly beautiful.

‘A world changed by heroes.’

This whole scene was created by heroes like LifeHunter. So how could one not become attached to it?

This world was just as precious as his Ohsung Group.

He hoped that many heroes on Earth would feel this emotion. If that happened, the world might become just a bit more peaceful.

LifeHunter continued riding toward Elvens.

He only needed to reach the nearby village to use the Teleportation Magic Circle. Since the appearance of the Flower of Heroes, Teleportation Magic Circles had started appearing in Arsilan as well.

Elvens was quiet.

Only the Elkin and Elduck Farm were noisy. LifeHunter returned Elkin and entered Elvens.

“Hello?”

“Mm. Thank you for your efforts.”

The elves greeted him.

He headed toward the Village Chief’s house. Upon entering, Luceren welcomed him. Her expression was gentle.

“A gift.”

LifeHunter handed her a card game. Luceren smiled softly and received the gift. A window appeared in front of LifeHunter and Luceren.

Cards featuring figures from Arsilan were displayed. The rules weren’t difficult, so they were able to enjoy it together quickly.

“I won.”

“Mm, impressive.”

“You didn’t go easy on me, right?”

“Of course not.”

That warm atmosphere continued.

It seemed they had arrived, as Knight Kim woke him up.

LifeHunter stood up from his seat.

“Are you going to the Land of Erosion?”

“Yes.”

Luceren looked at him.

“The Land of Erosion..., beyond that, there’s said to be a path to the homeland of the elves.”

“Even after defeating the Lord of Erosion, it’s unreachable?”

“Yes, there must be an even greater threat.”

Luceren nodded with a sad expression.

“Don’t worry. No matter what’s beyond it, I’ll just hunt it all.”

Luceren’s expression turned surprised at his words, but then she smiled softly. LifeHunter stepped outside the village chief’s house.

Watching his back, Luceren opened her lips.

“Good hunting today as well.”

“Of course.”

LifeHunter’s body dispersed into particles of light. As silence settled in, Luceren let out a quiet breath.

“Phew....”

She couldn’t help but think that this silence felt a little lonely.

Lee Woon-sung, having stepped out of the car, looked at the villa before him. It was a fully equipped villa. With staff residing there, he could devote himself entirely to the raid.

Lee Woon-sung waited in the villa’s yard for the heroes.

The luxury vehicles he had dispatched soon arrived rapidly. He had summoned all of his guild members from around the country. A guild that met face-to-face in reality was called an offline guild.

“Greetings, hyung nim!”

His right-hand man, Jam-sik, was the first to run over and greet him.

“Wow, the view here is incredible.”

“The inside will be even better.”

“I’m looking forward to it! Kheh! As expected of you, hyung nim.”

All of his guild members were heroes handpicked with Lee Woon-sung’s sharp eye. His keen judgment, which had built up the Ohsung Group, was sharp enough to seem like it could pierce through one’s soul.

That’s why passing his guild’s interview was exceedingly difficult. But once you became a member, he provided generous support.

They all gathered in the villa’s party hall.

Their ages and genders varied, but there was a palpable sense of camaraderie. When Lee Woon-sung raised his glass, all the guild members raised theirs too.

They were wine glasses, but the contents were grape juice, not wine. Alcohol could not be consumed if one wanted to log into Arsilan Saga.

“Jam-sik, I heard your mother was discharged from the hospital.”

“Thanks to your concern, she has regained her health!”

Lee Woon-sung nodded and looked at another guild member.

“HalloweenSword, did you settle your shop matters properly?”

“Yes, thank you!”

Lee Woon-sung made sure all his guild members could focus solely on the raid. It wasn’t just about throwing money around. He provided a foundation they could use to overcome things on their own.

“Hunters! We will be the first to defeat the Lord of Erosion. We will set the shortest record and have it displayed in the Elvens Guild Home!”

The guild members nodded and raised their glasses.

“Until then, we won’t stop hunting!”

Lee Woon-sung raised his wine glass and gulped it down. The guild members followed and drank the grape juice. Wiping the juice from the corner of his mouth, Lee Woon-sung grinned.

“Good hunting!”

“Good hunting!”

All the guild members shouted in unison.

Everyone gathered here was a hunter.

All the guilds in Arsilan were participating in the raid on the Lord of Erosion.

But Lee Woon-sung already had a bigger goal in his heart.

The Lord of Erosion was merely part of the process to reach that.

The hunt had begun!
