Chapter 1027: Just Slightly Different? (M)

No.

Kyle wanted to say there was absolutely nothing wrong. After all, everything attached to his little star—everything that made him who he was—had always been nothing but good.

Of course, the thought may be partly because he viewed him through the unwavering lens of a husband who was just as far gone, but it didn’t make it any less true.

And perhaps that was exactly why the problem refused to stay down.

Despite the ice-cold treatment he’d forced himself through earlier, his body had already betrayed him again, standing at attention as if it had never been suppressed at all.

Kyle exhaled slowly as he took in the sight before him.

It was dangerous.

More than enough to make any man lose his mind.

There was Ollie, wrapped in a shirt Kyle thought he had long since lost, only to find it now clinging to the very person he shouldn’t be staring at like this. His skin carried a soft, flushed warmth. His eyes were bright, clear, and entirely unguarded. And beneath the loose, unbuttoned fabric—

Were those slightly swollen, reddened nipples that beguiled him like no other.

Taking a deep breath clearly wouldn’t be enough for the sight before him. Especially not when coupled with the only erection Kyle would ever care to see.

Kyle attempted to drag his gaze away for a fraction of a second, steadying himself.

Clearly, if the devil had wanted to tempt him into giving up his soul, this would’ve been the most effective way to do it.

So how could he, a man of clear desires, not show his motive clearly?

Worse, how could he not give his wife the reassurance he deserved?

"You’re perfect as you are," Kyle murmured, his voice thick with a sudden, heavy gravity.

"We’re just... different."

As Kyle spoke, he moved closer and closer toward Ollie.

Surprisingly, Ollie didn’t retreat.

If anything, he stayed rooted in place, even as that telltale hair antenna flailed in every direction like it was trying to escape for him.

"Just like our hair, our build, our height..." Kyle continued, his tone calm, measured. "This just happens to be slightly different."

That word—slightly—

The blonde certainly heard it.

But there was no way he could accept it so easily.

Slightly different?

How was that slight when it felt like the gap between them was... well—

His thoughts short-circuited.

Aaaaah!

He shouldn’t even be thinking about nefarious thoughts!

Ollie stiffened, practically scolding himself as his hands twitched at his sides.

For some reason, his body had already made up its mind. There was this strange, overwhelming urge to reach out. To confirm something. To understand something.

If he touched something so big... would it feel different?

That single thought was enough to send his mind into complete disarray.

And unfortunately, his fingers seemed to agree.

They moved before he could stop them.

Kyle, being the observant human that he was, noticed immediately. Of course he did. There was no way he wouldn’t.

Those small, delicate fingers didn’t just twitch—they hovered, hesitant but curious, betraying every single intrusive thought running through his little star’s head.

For once, even Kyle felt caught off guard.

He was bold. He knew that much. But even then, standing there like this, completely exposed and fully aware of what those thoughts meant...

He found himself flushing.

Just slightly.

Just enough.

What was he even supposed to do in a situation like this?

At this rate, the youngest Nox was certain he’d die an early death.

But with their lives now intertwined, he couldn’t have his—no, their hearts stopping because of unfulfilled desires, right?

Definitely not. At least not for both their sakes.

There was a momentary delay in calculation but eventually, Kyle stepped past the point of no return and into his wife’s personal space.

"Are you curious about something?"

The small prey jolted, one hand flying to his chest like he’d been caught red-handed all over again.

"M-maybe?"

The self-aware beast hummed softly. "That’s fine if you’re not. But if you are... I was thinking I could help with that."

"Something productive while giving you a bath."

"Huh?"

The curious bundle of nerves peeked up slowly—only to freeze.

He didn’t expect to be swallowed up by that all-consuming gaze directed solely at him.

"Umm...!"

"You came here because you wanted a bath, right?" Kyle continued, voice calm, but far too knowing.

"Or did you want something else?"

The question lingered between them, vague but knowing.

Ollie, defenseless as he was, shivered at those words.

The prowling beast leaned in closer, carrying that faint, intoxicating scent that made it impossible to think straight. There was nothing rushed about the way he moved. Every step was deliberate. Slow. Certain.

Before Ollie even realized it, his back met the cold bathroom wall.

But the chill of the tiles barely registered.

Not when the contrast of the cool tiles against Ollie’s back and the radiating heat from Kyle’s body made his head spin.

Their bodies aligned, leaving no space between them. Not even a sliver of air.

Ollie’s breath hitched.

"It won’t take long," Kyle murmured, his voice brushing just as close as his presence. "But while we’re at it... you can do as you like."

They stared at each other.

Ollie, who couldn’t quite find anything wrong with those words.

And Kyle, who seemed perfectly willing to go to hell and back just to entice him.

It was a mutual trap.

And it snapped shut the moment the borrowed shirt slipped from Ollie’s shoulders and fell quietly to the floor.

Just like that, the two of them—who had already come so far—found themselves even closer than before.

Closer in a way that felt entirely new.

And maybe... a little dangerous.

Because not long after, Kyle came to a sudden realization.

Letting his little star explore freely might not have been the best decision.

Not when curiosity led him straight into dangerous territory.

"Kyle, look!" Ollie exclaimed, eyes wide with undisguised fascination.

And then—without a hint of hesitation—

"It really is so much longer than my hand!"

Oh heavens.
