Chapter 1025: No Bullying Allowed
Chapter 1025: No Bullying Allowed
And yet, how did someone who supposedly had everything going for him end up cornered by insurmountable difficulties he created himself?
Well, that would be because the newly bonded adjutant was annoyingly competent.
He was well-organized and kept track of transgressions and agendas as if they were second nature. Which meant there was no escaping the very obvious origin of this situation.
And as the universe would’ve expected, it had all to do with Ollie and his big mouth.
Technically, it wasn’t even a big mouth. For what the blonde came equipped with was those small, soft, delicate lips.
But apparently that didn’t matter when his tongue had a mind of its own. That same unstoppable tongue had now landed him in front of a floor-to-ceiling glass panel, very much trapped, while his newly acquired husband demonstrated—quite thoroughly—how couples could "deepen their relationship."
"!!!"
Oliver Mylor—who, for the record, had apparently become Oliver Nox pending paperwork—had tried to run.
He really did.
A valiant attempt. Brave, even.
But unfortunately, completely useless.
The moment he twisted around to escape, he was caught effortlessly.
"Ah! Wait—!"
"Mn?"
Kyle’s voice came low, right next to his ear, his arms already locked around Ollie’s body from behind.
"Earlier," he murmured, far too close, "you said you wanted to learn the look for seduction, didn’t you?"
The blonde’s bright eyes went wide.
He did say that. He absolutely did.
But why did it sound so dangerous coming from Kyle?
"You—!" The mop sputtered, face heating up.
"How can you say it like that?!"
"Can’t you say it in a nicer way?" he added, already sounding a little desperate as he tried—again—to escape.
It didn’t work.
Kyle, the man that he was, didn’t budge. Not even a little.
Like a wall, he stayed right where he was, completely unmoved, already exploiting his unfair mastery of Little Star 101. His hand shifted just slightly—
Right to that sensitive waist.
And that was it.
Ollie froze helplessly.
Kyle’s hand that had held him close moved, with one sliding up to the side of Ollie’s neck to hold him in place in a way that was firm and surprisingly exciting, but never threatening. His other arm wrapped around the blonde’s waist, a broad palm spreading across his torso as he pulled him flush against him.
The contact alone had the flailing star blushing from head to toe.
"H-Hey!" Ollie squeaked.
"Is this how you handle your wife? Shouldn’t it be gentler?"
He made such complaints, but even as he said it, he knew it didn’t make sense. There was no way to be any gentler than this and still keep him upright.
"Ah, about that," Kyle murmured into his hair, voice low and almost apologetic.
"This first-time husband might need a few pointers on how to hold his wife. Forgive me."
But despite his words, his hold didn’t loosen. If anything, it settled more naturally.
"It seems we’ll have to practice more. But my dear, because if I hold you any gentler, won’t you just end up on the floor?"
...He would.
Ollie knew he would.
For some reason, his legs had already turned to jelly. The soft kind. Like those fruit jellies he loved so much.
This had to be Kyle’s fault.
He had been cute, strong (not), and perfectly capable before all this. But now his legs weren’t working, his face was burning, and his body...
His body was even worse.
Determined to salvage at least some dignity, Ollie tried to adjust his position. He wiggled slightly, hoping to find a stable footing so he could tell his man to let go and prove he could stand just fine.
Instead, that movement brought his hips straight into contact with Kyle’s lower body.
And—
Oh.
Oh no.
His sincere attempt at recovery had turned into something else entirely.
A low, sharp hiss came from behind him that resulted in Ollie’s own body stiffening in surprise.
"Now, now," Kyle’s voice dropped, deeper this time, the sound vibrating against his back.
"If you keep doing that, we would really end up getting to know each other better right here in the living room."
"!!!"
"W-Wait!" the blonde rightfully panicked.
"I think we already know each other really well! Don’t you already know everything about me?!"
The words tumbled out in a rush, completely unfiltered, as Kyle’s hold tightened just a little.
Up until that point, he thought he was doing so well, but he’d clearly jinxed himself.
Because the moment Kyle leaned in and pressed a slow, lingering kiss against the sensitive skin at the back of his neck, Ollie let out a sound that surprised them both.
"Hngh—!"
The unfamiliar sound slipped out before he could stop it.
Both of them stilled.
Ollie’s eyes widened in abject mortification.
Where did that come from?!
He tried to cover his mouth in shock, but Kyle spoke first.
"How could I possibly know everything about you," Kyle murmured, clearly amused, "when I didn’t even know you could make a sound like that?"
"Waaah! I—I’ve made sounds like that before!"
"Oh? Really?" Kyle teased, his breath warm against his skin. "How come I didn’t know about it?"
"Umm... You probably just forgot!"
"Yes! That’s it, you definitely just forgot!"
Okay, that was definitely outrageous, especially for the Kyle Nox, of all people. But desperate times called for desperate measures.
As expected, he got an amused response.
"Forgot?" Kyle echoed softly. "How could anyone forget a sound like that? I don’t think that’s possible."
His hold tightened just a little again.
"And as your life-long partner, shouldn’t I investigate properly? If we want a deeper relationship, I need to know what makes you react like that."
"!!!"
Oliver Mylor, the young, vivacious blonde who’d just started a family by his own reckless action, suddenly felt like a certain glimmering chain might have had a very valid purpose after all.
However, the same star whose heart was beating out of his chest because of his nerves ended up freezing in place after hearing his man suddenly ask:
"...Are you scared?"
Eh?
__
The question was breathed right against his neck, and Ollie couldn’t help but flinch at the warmth of Kyle’s breath on his skin. But the moment his brain caught up with what was said, his entire body stilled.
Huh?
"If you’re too scared, we can stop here," Kyle murmured softly.
"We can do this another time when you’re more comfortable. It might be challenging that way, but we’ll take it slow."
He spoke so gently, yet he didn’t let go. Instead, he pulled Ollie closer, almost like he was savoring his scent.
It was as if Kyle was desperate to hold him tight for fear of losing him.
What...?
He wasn’t certain what to make of Kyle’s words in his flustered state, but after taking a moment, the blonde noticed their reflection on the glass window.
It wasn’t as clear as a mirror, but with the city lights glittering behind them, their figures stood out enough. Their bodies were intertwined, close in a way that made it impossible to misunderstand what was happening.
To his surprise, his own expression didn’t look scared.
Instead, it looked... disappointed.
And Kyle...
His Kyle had buried his face into the crook of his neck as if giving him space. Giving him an out.
Oh.
Ollie swallowed after taking in the scene. He hadn’t noticed it earlier, but apparently, there was a lump in his throat.
Of course, he was scared.
As someone inexperienced, he was scared of the unknown.
More than that, those books he’d read before normally involved a lot of screaming... So, as a person who never liked any sort of pain, how could he not be scared?
But strangely...
He felt more bothered by the thought of stopping.
More bothered by the idea that they wouldn’t go further with his ex-boyfriend—now-husband.
Ollie gulped as he thought about his response, biting his lower lip before saying, "W-we can continue. But you have to promise me you won’t bully me too much!"
"Bully you?" the surprised tower repeated.
"Yes!" Ollie insisted, turning just enough to protest. "You can’t bully me too much! What if you tie me up and I suddenly need to pee?"
"Also, you won’t starve me either, right...?"
His expression was dead earnest as he asked.
Kyle, on the other hand, was completely dumbfounded.
"...?"
He had to look at their reflection in the glass just to confirm that he had heard that correctly.
"...What?" Kyle blinked. "Where did you even get those ideas? And since when have I ever starved you?"
He looked genuinely baffled, staring at the plump, bright blonde who could appear wronged at times, but certainly never starved.
Ollie, however, puffed his cheeks and refused to divulge any of his confidential sources.
"T-then as long as you promise not to do all of that too much..." he trailed off, clearing his throat. His face was completely red, but his posture straightened with determination.
"We can continue. W-we can deepen our relationship!"
For a moment, Kyle, who had been stupefied, just stared at him.
Then his shoulders started shaking.
He pulled Ollie closer, burying his face into the crook of his neck again as he struggled to choke back his laughter.
Still... the tension from earlier had completely vanished.
And what replaced it felt far too good.
When he finally spoke again, there was a glint in his eyes that couldn’t be hidden.
"Thank you for giving me the chance to get to know you more, my dear," Kyle said softly. "We’ll do this properly. And as peacefully as possible."
The kisses that followed along the sensitive blonde’s neck were gentle. Almost sweet.
But then—
That same hand at his neck began to slide lower.
Suddenly, as if his body were set on fire, a finger grazed an apparently sensitive point on his chest right through his thin top.
"Haa—!"
Ollie’s body jolted at the unexpected contact.
In his panic, he called out, "Kyle!"
But apparently, calling out to the beast was extremely dangerous for innocent critters like him.
Because instead of stopping, it happened again.
"Hup!"
By the time the startled star realized what he’d gotten himself into...
It was already far too late to turn back.
And it’d only be moments later that the yelping star would realize just how long the night really was.
