Chapter 367 - Only princess?

When she heard those words coming out from Han Ye's mouth, Xiao Lei could not help but tear up a little. 

"You mushy guy..." she mumbled as she hugged him tightly. "I'm glad I met you again..." 

Han Ye smiled. After a while, when he could no longer hear the fireworks, he looked down at her and asked, "We should go to the table now. Everyone is waiting for us..." 

Xiao Lei nodded as she gently tapped near the bottom of her eyes. "How's my makeup?"

"As beautiful as ever, but I still prefer your makeup-free face."

She looked at him with a blank expression, and after a while, she asked with a fake pout, "So you don't like this?" 

Han Ye was stunned. He had walked into a trap. "Erm..." He then cleared his throat and said, "Let's go... I'm starving!" 

He then took her hand and led her to her seat. 

The moment she sat down, she was wished "Happy Birthday" by everyone at the table.

"Tiara!" Little Monkey gasped as she stared at the tiara on Xiao Lei's head. She immediately tried to climb onto the table to cross and get the tiara. 

"No, Little Monkey. That's Aunt Xiao Lei's tiara. She's the birthday girl," Kai Xin said to her daughter gently. When she saw her daughter's lips quivering, she then added, "No, that's not gonna work for me." 

"I know..." Little Monkey mumbled. She then turned to her dad and pouted. "Daddy..." 

DX was helpless whenever his baby daughter looked at him with those eyes and that pout. Unfortunately for him, his wife was here, so he could not do anything extreme. "Princess, Daddy will buy one for you tomorrow, alright? But that's Aunt Xiao Lei's one..."

Xiao Lei smiled as she said, "I can't give it to you, Little Monkey, but you can play with it later, alright? It's just that your Uncle Han Ye wants me to wear it and take a photo with him first." 

Little Monkey blinked and looked at her. "Photo now?" 

"Photo later," Kai Xin said with a stern expression. She then looked at her husband and said, "Look at how she is now... I told you not to spoil her senseless." 

"Well, she's my daughter too, so I can spoil her however I want... I didn't say anything when you spoil the boys," DX retorted with a smile. 

While those two were discussing each other's habits of spoiling their kids, Han Ye and Xiao Lei merely glanced at each other. 

Xiao Lei then whispered, "Look what you've done... And why tiara? I'm already an a.d.u.l.t, you know..." 

She was shocked when she saw the tiara among the jewelry in the box. At first, she was going to ignore it, but then she saw the note that Han Ye left behind. On the note, the words "I would be extremely happy if you wore this to the party tonight" were written on it, and at the bottom a "
