The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 991: The Most Handsome Centaur

Chapter 991: The Most Handsome Centaur

"So you told them I can use charm magic?" Arin asked me when I told her about what I told the Vampire King and his wife this morning.

"Yes. Because it’s highly likely that there’s an entire faction of vampires who are related to the cult. And the leader is most likely a Vampire Duke. I told them that maybe you can use charm magic to charm that Vampire Duke and make him answer everything honestly," I said.

Centaurs can tell when someone is telling lies or truth. But they can’t make them talk honestly unless they torture them first. Though there’s a chance that the one that they tortured won’t talk at all.

That’s where Arin came. If she’s willing to use her charm magic, then it will be easy for her to make any male to speak the truth. Her only weakness is that it doesn’t affect female. But since the one we’re targeting right now is a male vampire, I think it will be fine.

Though that’s only if Arin decided to use her magic. I won’t force her to do it. She’s free to do what she wants.

As for me, I feel like the Vampire King was about to say something about creating common enemy out of humans. I didn’t listen and didn’t care enough about that. But the reason he said a little about that could possibly mean that there’s a chance that he can join us. So I’m thinking that our meeting tonight will have positive result.

Even if it’s just finding some spies, then that’s already a positive result. As for whether the vampires ended up becoming our enemy, that’s fine. Because we can just kill them all.

"Have you made a list of questions that need to be asked tonight? Something like asking them if they joined the cult might not be the correct questions. Because it’s also possible that the cult told the vampires some other thing that made the vampires thinks that they’re not with the cult," I reminded Arin and the centaurs here who will be brought to the Vampire King’s castle tonight.

"We’re still thinking of what to ask. If you have something, you can add more questions," Arin said.

"I can only think on a whim. But I’ll help you later tonight since I’ll be going there as well with Victoria," I said.

"Oh, they gave you permission to hide somewhere where no one can see you?" Arin asked.

"No. I will be seen by everyone. Hehehe..."

I started laughing thinking of what will happen tonight. And the others feel a bit disturbed for some reason. Did my laugh sound so evil?

Later at night, we approached the castle again. Not just Arin and the vampires, but also the centaurs that we promised to bring as well. And I’m coming with them.

We’re moving fast from where I opened up a portal to outside of Cassau. We did that because it will be noisy if people see centaurs running in the middle of the city. So I brought them all outside.

The centaurs can’t fly. But they’re fast in the forest. And some vampires, including Arin, rode on some of the centaurs so they won’t have to spend their energy at all going to the castle.

And the whole way there, I can feel them staring at me even though I didn’t watch them with my Divine Vision. Everyone is looking at me.

"Roy, this is stupid," Victoria said.

"No. This is genius," I said.

We travel quickly to the castle and when we reached there, there were vampires waiting for us and guide us to the audience room.

They already knew that we would bring centaurs, so they let the centaurs enter as well.

And in the audience room, I looked at the Vampire King who was shocked to see me. He then quickly whispered something to his wife who became shocked as well.

The other vampires with them were confused. But Arin and our vampires understand why those two were confused.

"Just like I promised you, I brought centaurs with me," Arin said.

"...Yeah, I can see that. And... that one centaur look different than the others," the Vampire King said as he pointed his finger at... me.

"Niehihihieaaagh! I’m here to see if the other centaurs can do their job well or not. Don’t mind me," I said. After my attempt to neigh like a horse.

"...I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard any centaur who neighs like a horse," the Vampire King said.

"...This one is a bit retarded. But he’s also someone that the centaurs can trust," Arin said.

Retarded? That’s cruel.

Anyway, it’s about me and my expert disguise to come into the castle without any vampire trying to bite me. I disguised myself as a centaur.

I had Victoria and Blobbies to turn my lower half into a horse’s lower half, and also cover my face with facial hair. While I’m being completely shirtless.

So I look just like an old black-haired centaur. No vampires recognized me. Other than the Vampire King and his wife.

I am the most fabulous centaur tonight. Anyone can see that I gained everyone’s attention.

’I’d rather you hide somewhere instead of doing this,’ Victoria said.

’Doing this, I can get involved directly with the negotiation. This is the best option. And the most fun way as well,’ I said.

Though if I was forced to come out of this disguise, then that would be a bit embarrassing since I only wear my underpants. I guess if that happen, I’ll get Victoria to cover my body. Or I’ll just wear my magic armor.

But if there’s anyone related to the cult here, they might realize who I am by the armor I wore. So I’ll just get Victoria as my disguise.

"I object to this!" someone suddenly shouted.

The Vampire King sighed and looked at the vampire who just shouted.

"Do you think it’s okay to let anyone among us to betray us again and even drink our blood? Give me your reason," the Vampire King said.

Is that the guy that the Vampire Duke they told me this morning? From the look of it, it doesn’t seem that way.

There were several Vampire Dukes in this room. But there’s only one who is standing confidently as if he doesn’t care about status. And he’s not the one complaining. But he just smiled when he saw that another Vampire Duke complained.

This guy must be the target. While the complaining vampire was either the target’s subordinate or just someone who doesn’t want any outsider to get rid of their problem.

I’ll just watch for now.

"Even if they’re also vampires, they’re outsiders! And they even said that they’re helping humans! Maybe the humans they helped were the ones who cause all of this!" complained the vampire.

"But do you think that there’s no one else here who is related to the cult other than being hostile to them?" the Vampire King asked.

Relationship with the cult, huh? If we just ask that, then even I am related to the cult. And it’s not a good relationship. It’s a relationship where either one of us has to die. But it’s still a relationship.

"No way! Those three were the only ones to have relation with the cult! No one else here is with that stupid cult!" he shouted.

The Vampire King was about to say something, but there’s someone else who spoke earlier than him. A centaur that we brought.

"He lied. He knew that there are other vampires who are with the cult," the centaur said.

Everyone was silent. While the other centaurs just nodded. Since I’m pretending to be a centaur, I also nodded.

"L-lie! That’s a lie!" the vampire shouted.

"We all know that centaurs are creature who can tell lie and truth. How about you speak the truth then?" the Vampire King asked.

"I did!"

"He lied again," another centaur interrupted.

Seems like we will find out which one among the vampires is related with the cult tonight.

What about the other spies who followed the vampires who escaped? Have the spies figured out where they went to?

"Then do you know that there were some vampires who left this morning? They’re traitors who were planning to meet someone from the cult somewhere. Am I right?" the Vampire King asked.

Seems like instead of having Arin interrogating them, it became the Vampire King interrogating them by himself.

"No, I know nothing about it!" the vampire shouted.

"He lied again," a centaur said.

Now, the one I assume to be the Vampire Duke who is related with the cult is sweating. The smile on his face disappeared. Seems like it’s the end for him and his faction. Maybe.

"Niehihihieaaagh! Good job finding out that he’s lying, guys," I said happily.

’You’re embarrassing me. You know it yourself that there’s no horse that neigh like you did. You even owned one! And I can’t complain loudly now because I’m your butt! So I can only complain to you!’

And that’s the telepathic message that I received from my own Buttoria. She should have just transformed into my beard instead of complaining all the time.

Wait, the one she’s complaining is not about my butt. But about my act as a centaur. I guess it’s my fault. Sorry.
