The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 885: Beginning of Roy’s Life

Chapter 885: Beginning of Roy’s Life

"Hey, I think we can get more information if you read my mind instead," Victoria suggested.

Before the Spirit King put me to sleep. Victoria suddenly suggested that we should use illusion on her instead. And I agree.

She, or should I say the Black Slime, has lived for a long time. And even watched the future I never got to see.

They also have several minds in just one body. So maybe one of them was a human who experienced the things after I died.

If the Spirit King can use his illusion to read Victoria’s memory, then that would be great. Because maybe, we can find the Evil God right away.

"That’s impossible. The Black Slime has her own mind indeed, but she doesn’t have a brain. And my illusion, although it can affect people’s mind to see what they want to see, I can only see the past from someone’s memory in their brain. So if you don’t have a brain, I can’t use illusion magic to show you your past," the Spirit King said.

I didn’t really hear what he said. I know that he said that it’s impossible. But for the explanation why it’s impossible, I only hear bit by bit because I’m trying to hold my laughter.

She doesn’t have a brain. It sounds like the Spirit King is making fun of her saying that she’s stupid. And my mind can only think about that, so I kept trying to hold my laughter.

Though maybe because I let down my guard, Victoria noticed my emotion as we are connected through telepathy.

’If you can’t stop laughing, I’ll write about you in my book doing things that I will enjoy watching. Or better yet, I’ll ask the Spirit King to show us that illusion. So stop laughing!’

Good thing she only said that through telepathy. If not, the others would realize it.

But still, memory is stored in someone’s brain, huh? I wonder how illusion magic work for the Spirit King to be able to watch the illusion of someone’s past?

"So, you just need to put me to sleep and let your mind connect to my brain to see my past? Even the things that I have forgotten, they will be seen?" I asked.

"Yeah. Simple, right?" the Spirit King asked.

If it’s connected to my brain, then if my brain is the same age as I am now. So my past life might not be seen because of that.

"What if I’m not sleeping? If there are things I want to show you, I can just point it out. Is that possible?" I asked.

"That will be difficult because you might overuse your brain. The worst case scenario is that you will die. Why do you ask? Are you afraid to show something embarrassing to be seen by other people?" the Spirit King teased me.

"The opposite, actually. I’m afraid that the past that I want them to see won’t be shown," I said.

"That’s impossible. Everything in your past will be seen," the Spirit King said confidently.

I guess we can only try then. Though it will be just mostly about my first fifteen years of life that I forgot. After that, I remember most of it because that’s when I returned to the past.

Though if for some reason Javier and the other Black Slime actually send only my brain to the past, with my memory of that time still intact, then it might be possible for us to see my past life.

Though that means that my brain is older than my body. And if I have never reached master level or becoming an Aura Master, my lifespan will be lesser than people my age. And I might die before I got as old as I was when I fought the cult in my past life.

It’s really great that I’m an Aura Master and a master level summoner then. My lifespan has increased thanks to that.

Though that’s just speculation. Whether or not my brain was swapped with the adult brain of my past life or not, I don’t know. Even if the Spirit King can show the others about my past life, it’s not like the reason is because I have an old brain.

Victoria and Shirley understand my worry. As for the Spirit King, he’s only interested in watching people’s past, it seems. And he will judge people based on their past.

Maybe it’s because he has been exploited by humans that he can only believe them after seeing their past. Can’t blame him though. Even I need Albert’s help to judge if I can believe in someone or not most of the time.

"Let’s try it then. I just need to let you use magic on me, right?" I asked the Spirit King.

"Yes," the Spirit King replied.

"Then, what will you do next after seeing my past?" I asked.

"Depend on what I will see. If I think that you can be trusted, then I will help you in any way I can," he said.

Even if he can’t see my past life, that is still fine. Because I learned that the world will be destroyed from Javier in this life. And I’m sure he will see it.

And unless he’s a dangerous creature who wished to destroy the world.

"Then, I just need to sleep, right? Victoria, make a bed for me," I said.

"...I feel like the only reason you picked me to watch your past is because you want to lay down on a comfy bed instead of because you trust me," Victoria said. Though she’s still make her clones into a bed. While Victoria herself turned into her human form.

"It’s both, actually. I trust you and I want a comfortable bed to sleep on," I said.

I lied down on Blobbybed as I listened to the Spirit King’s instruction.

"Relax and don’t fight it. There will be some sort of connection between you and I. And unlike your contract magic with your familiars, this will be temporary. But as long as I decide that I want to see your past, it will stay connected," the Spirit King said.

"So you can stop it as long as you want to? Well don’t stop. I want you to watch everything. If possible, only after the first fifteen years of my life," I said.

If his magic can show the past, then fifteen years is a good time. Because I don’t think the first fifteen years of my life is anything important.

And then, after the first fifteen years of my life, that’s when the Spirit King will be able to show the others whether it will be my past life or only this life. If it’s this life, then Victoria will know about it. And there’s no need for her to watch because she has been with me most of the time after that.

"No. This is purely for my entertainment, so I will start from your earliest memory. The memory that most humans forgot as they were too young. I will watch everything," the Spirit King said.

"Whatever. Though the most important part that we want to see is the one after my first fifteen years of my life. But if that’s the case, then do it. I’m sure that you will help me after watching everything," I said confidently.

"Confident, huh? Well, that’s fine. Once your mind is connected to mine, you will feel sleepy and will start to sleep. Once you’re sleeping, the illusion of your past will be seen by everyone here. And since it will affect everyone’s brain, like I said, time will move faster here so we can take our time watching your short life," the Spirit King said.

Short life? Well, for a Spirit King who has lived probably much longer than anything in this world, it is short indeed.

But it’s good that they don’t have to watch my life for decades. In real time.

Soon after, I feel connection to the Spirit King. And I started feeling sleepy before I finally lost my consciousness. I hope I will receive good news when I woke up.

.......

Roy has fallen asleep, and the Spirit King used his illusion magic to create illusion of Roy’s past.

"I wonder how he looks like as a child? Back before he returned from the future. Since I met him, even though he was fifteen, I always consider him as an adult," Victoria said.

"Oh, it started. I think that was when he was born as a baby... Oh, no!" Shirley said.

In the illusion, Roy was born from a villager mother. And soon after, there’s a figure of his father shown.

"This is my child, but I can’t raise him. Raise him in this village with the mother," the father said as he held the baby Roy for the last time.

Roy’s father said that to a man in front of Roy’s mother and the chief of the village. And to make it seems as if the man he’s talking to is the father instead of him.

And no one was able to deny that order because Roy’s father is someone with high position. And there’s someone watching who knew who that person was.

"What the fuck?! Roy is my brother?!"

The one who shouted and shocked Victoria to the core was Shirley.

That’s right. The man who is the real father of Roy is the former king of Tatrama. Albert’s and Shirley’s father.
