Chapter 1121: My Disciple Increases Her Summoning Level

After returning to the island, I no longer have much to do. So this time, I got permission to go to the enemy’s base again and cause terror over there. But this time, I won’t stay there for a long time.

It’s useful because the enemy have to think twice before sending reinforcement. Though in the end, that base is not the main base.

They must have felt the mana fluctuation from another base. And from there, they let the people from that huge base to send reinforcement instead of coming from those other bases.

Maybe the main base is closer than we thought. But well, it’s hard to find them.

Anyway, I attack that base once in a while. Just like usual, no regular schedule when I will attack. So they have to be wary at all time and won’t be able to get enough rest.

Now that the Kings have agreed that we will raid and destroy that base after Angela reaches master level. Maybe that place will be a good location for Angela to test her new strength. So after she reaches master level, we will attack there.

First it will be just Angela and I. And if we’re not enough, I will get more people.

By then, she had just reached master level. Will that be enough to defeat a million mages?

We’ll see. Though I’m sure that she will be stronger than anyone in that city.

The Kings have decided to at least destroy that city first before announcing Fabio’s wedding. Though they are already preparing for the wedding right now.

We just need to wait for Angela. But I’m sure that she will reach master level soon.

It has been five days since I returned and no longer stay in that city. But I have attacked that city around fifteen times since I left. That’s a lot.

Thanks to that, I realized again my weakness. I might be fast and strong. But in the end, I’m not that well-versed in a fight against too many opponents.

I can use wide area attack. But that’s not enough. Not only that my attack will be easily predicted as long as they read the swing of my weapon, it also doesn’t have much range.

I need a way to be able to kill a lot more people in one hit. Something that is hard to predict and will give huge damage to the surrounding.

For a normal master level mage, when they use magic, even if their attack can be predicted, the effect can be different according to the caster. So even if it’s a Wind Slash, no one can tell how big the slash is. But for me who is an Aura user, as long as they read my slash, they can easily dodge them.

If I just swing my sword horizontally, they can either jump or duck down to avoid it if they read my attack. For wind mage, when they use Wind Slash, the area of effect may be bigger than my sword slash.

I’m confident in surviving a long battle against the cult. But it will still be hard for me to fight against too many people.

When I asked Victoria and Sonia if there are any large area of effect attacks that an Aura user can do, they only know about the long-distance slash. They don’t know about other things.

I guess Aura users still can’t defeat mages in how powerful they are against a lot of people.

My only option is just to get stronger and faster. That’s all I can do.

For magic, I will leave it to my allies.

The thing that made it the toughest when I attack the city is that they don’t care about the lives of their allies and even of their own lives. So they dare to attack powerful magic at me. Even if they miss and will hit someone else, they don’t care.

If only they would use even more powerful magic, I would be happier. I can dodge them and let them kill each other.

...Right! I forgot! My air magic!

With air magic that I learned, I can use it to create gases that will make them kill each other. Using that, then maybe they will even use powerful magic to each other. And I don’t have to be actively fighting.

And using water from the bottom of the sea will help as well. But that’s only for last resort. I can’t just reveal my secret too much at this point of time. I need to use it when I think that I can kill even powerful enemies.

Though unfortunately for my air magic, I’m just an expert level. The gases won’t have much effect against master level mages who have high magic resistance.

Should I focus on increasing my magic level after a long time? Though I doubt that it will increase soon even with the help of the spirits. I originally didn’t have talent in air magic after all.

Well, there’s nothing I can do other than using what I have. I’ll focus more in fighting usually.

Today, I’m resting near Angela. There are only monsters here so I returned the reinforcement back to Earth since there’s no more cult member attacking. They also need rest.

We have cleared every nearby island as well from humans or monsters that might be someone’s familiars. So we only need to focus on the wild monsters.

With that, there’s no need for too many people here. So we’re back to our original lineup. Those from Cassau and from the Monsters Village.

So I’m just relaxing next to Angela while waiting until it’s time for me to attack that city again. Then suddenly, my phone rang.

It’s from my second disciple. From Maya.

"Master! Georgia finally did it! I’m an advanced level mage now!" Maya shouted on the phone happily.

"Well, that was quick. But seeing how many enemies here, I guess that’s within expectation. Do you have any monster you want to appoint as your familiar?" I asked.

"I want small monster that Fabio can bring anywhere. This way, even if we’re apart, I can open a portal for him anytime," she said.

"That would be difficult. But I’ll try finding one," I said.

Not long after she became my disciple, she’s already an advanced level mage. Well, she has been a beginner level for so long without having any familiar. Then she got Georgia as her familiar.

Still, a monster that can be with Fabio at all time. So it won’t be for battle. I guess that’s already expected.

Small monsters are hard to find. And since this one will be with Fabio at all time, I guess I should ask his opinion.

"Then we will look for it after your wedding. Is that okay?"

"Sure. Then, good luck. I hope Angela will reach master level soon," she said before she hung up.

Another level increase. Which means that Georgia now should be able to reveal ten wings. Maybe she has somewhat recovers her memory. Let’s try asking them.

’Graham, come here with Georgia,’ I said to Graham via telepathy.

’Understood.’

Since I can’t use Divine Vision, I can’t tell where they will be coming from. So I just wait. And soon enough, I see two angels flying above. They are coming this way.

"Master, what’s wrong?" Graham asked.

"I guess you don’t know even if you’re by her side. Georgia’s master, Maya, has reached advanced level in her summoning element. She can now make a contract with another monster. But more importantly, I want to see Georgia’s condition now," I said.

Then we both take a look at Georgia. She doesn’t look any different than before.

"Georgia, if you’re there, please say something," I said.

There’s no answer. But somehow, Georgia stared at me as if she knows that I’m calling her.

"Seems like she still can’t reply for now. But from her reaction, she can somehow feel that I’m calling her. I think she can hold a more proper conversation when she revealed all her wings," I said.

"Should I ask her to do that?" Graham asked.

"Hmm... I don’t think this is a good time. For now, you two can take a break. You two have been fighting almost nonstop. You need to rest. And try to have a chat with her to see her reaction. Maybe she can slowly remember everything," I said.

Georgia’s case is difficult. Because she’s healthy and even Kayla who is a master level healer can’t use her healing magic to recover her mind. Because it’s Georgia’s mentality that needs to recover.

So I thought that if she became someone’s familiar and her summoner gains level, she might recover her mind. I think I was right. But Maya might need to reach master level first before Georgia can be fully recovers. That’s just two more level increase.

I think she can do it. Maya can reach master level. Because her goal is to live long together with Fabio. She will become a master level mage just like Fabio.
