The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1100: There’s Nothing Suspicious About the Pyramid

Chapter 1100: There’s Nothing Suspicious About the Pyramid

After I brought all the captured researchers and mages, I helped the agents to get as many things in the facility as possible.

Everything is turned upside down. Tables, chairs, and obviously, the floor tiles.

We haven’t gotten everything yet from the guy that Graham beat up. The guy who recorded everything by writing on the bottom part of the floor tiles. But we learned a few things.

He’s not with the cult. He’s not officially with them. He’s just helping them because they are useful for his inhumane experiments. So he wanted to get as many weaknesses as possible from the cult and use them one day in case the cult is trying to destroy him.

But it ended with us finding them instead. I bet he couldn’t believe that the angel he experimented on would recover her mind for a bit to tell us this secret.

Thanks to that, we found a lot of records. Not just about experiments. But also the orders that the cult gave and even where they came from.

Though the orders came from several different locations. But at least we found more clues about the cult’s real whereabouts. Well, whether that place is just one of their bases or their headquarter, we will only find out about it once we started investigating.

"We have to be quick! Once we’re done with taking everything that we can get, we will destroy this place! So take everything!"

Since this is what the researcher did on his own without the cult knowing, then it’s highly likely that the cult didn’t even know about it. About the writings on the bottom part of the floor tiles.

So I want to get it done as fast as possible. We have to finish it before the cult sends someone here. Then we have to destroy the facility to make it seems like we couldn’t get anything or the people in this facility destroyed it themselves.

If they realized that one of their researchers actually recorded everything that shouldn’t be recorded, the cult might be more aggressive. And we can’t really have them attack innocent people. So we have to fight them openly while making sure that they can’t recklessly attack innocent civilians.

Damn, so many excuses. If it’s not because Albert, old man Henry, and the other Kings telling me about it, I would have ignored them and do things my own way.

I still prefer to finish things as soon as possible. Destroying the cult and killing the Evil God. Or Evil Gods. I don’t know how many of them.

But I’m with important people from many countries. So I have to trust them who told us that what we’re doing is the best option we have.

Not just the floors. We also checked the ceilings. Though I know that there’s no writing there. But I let the agents take care of it themselves. Because maybe I missed some more stuffs.

"Now that we learned that someone recorded things that happened here on the floor tiles, maybe we should check the other cult’s facilities again. Some of them might leave behind some records just like the guy here did," Candy said.

"You’re right. Though His Majesty and the other Kings must have realized it already and have sent more people to those locations after they heard about this from Roy. We’ll take care of those locations later. We’ll take everything here first," Wendy said.

Hmm... I guess that might be true. We might be able to find out more from the previous facilities we raided.

Well, that’s not my problem. Maybe they’ll ask me to transport some people. But I don’t think I will need to participate in that.

I checked the facility here again and again. And when I’m think that everything is already taken care of, I sat on Blobbychair and wait. Kayla, Candy, Wendy, and Sara are here. And there are also other master level mages. Once they’re done, they know that they have to destroy this place. So I don’t need to help since they’re here.

"Roy, if you’re free, how about we check that pyramid? It’s something that Georgia recognized. Maybe there’s a hidden secret there," Victoria suggested.

Hidden secret. She sure loves to find secrets like that. Though I’m free anyway.

"Let’s go then."

Because we have nothing to do anyway, we go to the pyramid.

It’s small. Compared to the other pyramids we found so far.

"There’s nothing in it. Just a pyramid structure made of stone I think. I wonder what the people in the past were thinking to make so many pyramid structures," I said.

"Then is there completely no reason at all that the facility they built is facing this pyramid? Then there’s also pyramid-shaped dungeon. It’s all too much to be coincidences," Victoria said as if she wants this to be a huge mystery.

I don’t like mystery. That’s just her being a writer. I can’t even read mystery novel. Too much thinking.

"Can I destroy it?" I asked.

"I don’t think you should. It’s nothing anyway. What do you think? Do you think that there’s anything inside if you destroy it?" Victoria asked.

So I used Divine Vision again. And I can’t see anything important about the pyramid.

"Well, I don’t think there’s any," I said.

"Then destroying them is useless. Let’s go back. We can just tell the agents that we found nothing," Victoria said.

Still, why pyramid? Or is it just for a designated point to tell people in the past where this place is? Maybe so. I’ll just let other people to learn more about it. Maybe we should hire archaeologist.

When we return back to the facility, it’s on fire. And to complete it, Kayla and Sara use earth magic to completely flatten the facility to the ground.

"It’s done. Now we need to read every single floor tiles once we return. Since this is Varadis’ territory, they will be the first to check all those floor tiles," Sara said.

"Alright. But tell them that if they find anything regarding experiment on an angel or archangel, tell me right away," I said.

Georgia did well to tell us about this place. We might learn something from here.

And after I returned them all, I... had nothing to do. I have done the search for the pyramid. So I don’t need to explore more areas. There’s no need for me to do it.

"And so, the important thing in my schedule for the future is just your wedding with Fabio. Is there anything you want?" I asked Maya.

After a while, I decided to visit my second disciple to see how she’s doing. She’s now enjoying shooting things as a hobby. Though she’s still afraid of hunting monsters. So she’s just shooting at targets that some of her servants made.

"Georgia is fine, right?" Maya asked as she grabbed the resting panda sleeping on the ground and hugged her. That’s the panda that she got as her second familiar.

For the panda to not care about the gunshot sound, it’s quite interesting. That panda is already used to that sound.

"Something I want? I don’t think I need anything else from you, Master. You have given me a lot. Anyway, what about Georgia?" Maya asked.

"She’s hunting monsters with Graham just like usual. I think she can reach the next level sometime soon. Maybe before your wedding," I said.

"Then that’s great. Anyway Master, I have something I want to ask."

And she asked me more about air magic. Including some that she didn’t understand yet. So it became another day of me teaching her.

After a few days, I gathered all the Kings in Varadis for a meeting. They have read all the floor tiles.

"It’s interesting. Because the older orders that the researchers got from the cult usually came from the facilities that we have raided in the past. But the newer ones, we couldn’t really pinpoint where they came from. They’re coming from a place that we’ve never heard of," old man Henry said.

"Does it mean that their location is hidden in this world, or they came from the Monsters World?" I asked.

"It could be one of them or both. For those who are interested in reading those records, you can read them if you want," old man Henry said as he pointed at the corner of this room where several floor tiles from that facility are. They are probably the most important information that we got from the floor tiles.

"This one is about a female angel," old man Henry said as he got Julia to bring me a floor tile.

A princess. Walking toward a commoner who is half a royalty carrying a floor tile. That looks ridiculous, isn’t it?

I read the floor tiles and then I gave it to Graham whom I bring here with me. It’s just a more detailed information about what they did to an angel. Possibly to Georgia.

In anger, Graham gripped the floor tile too hard and destroyed it.

"We also have taken all the important information from that researcher. If you want, you can do anything to him," old man Henry said.

And so after the meeting is over, I took Graham to the prison where he tortured the researcher with an experienced centaur until the researcher dies. It’s cruel. And Graham doesn’t seem to be happy at all. In fact, he got angrier.

Lucky for me that his anger is pointed at the cult. He will be more loyal to me now as long as my goal is still the cult’s destruction. But of course he knows that’s the reason I became this strong. So he will continue to be loyal to me until the cult’s destruction.
