Chapter 1054: Twelve Wings is Too Much Right Now

"Jewel, can I ride you instead?"

While we’re moving to search for test subjects to see how strong Georgia is, Maya asked if she could ride Jewel in her rhino form.

"Sure," Jewel said.

Leaving her horse that she just received, she jumped on Jewel’s back and we continued searching for monsters.

"Then I’ll return back the horse. If you want to ride him again, just tell me," I said.

I opened a portal and returned the horse back to where the horses are gathering. There’s no need for everyone to be here.

We have encountered several monsters. But they are way too weak.

Maya was curious about Georgia’s strength once. So she ordered Georgia to kill a boar. Georgia did it. But it was overkill since she used too much strength.

Georgia is similar to Graham. They are both using spears and have light and healing magic. And when she killed that boar, she used her spear and raw strength. And the ground was even pierced as she stabbed the boar.

She’s strong and fast. Stronger and faster than even Shelia. But Shelia is still much better than Georgia. There’s no way she would lose against someone who can’t think.

But if Georgia’s mind and memory recovered, she might be stronger than Shelia. Well, Shelia will be happy either way. And we will have a really powerful addition in the Monsters Village.

We encountered more monsters. But none of them are at a satisfying level. They are way too weak.

We even found a lizardman. But Georgia killed it with one strike from her spear. We still can’t tell how strong she is.

And so, we took a break in an open field. Thinking of what we should do next.

"This world is beautiful. And it’s also peaceful," Maya said.

"Don’t get it wrong. You just have a really strong familiar and she killed all the monsters around us," I said.

"Not just that. This is still within the range of where the werewolves and weretigers would hunt their prey. So it’s obvious that there are not many monsters here. "But Master, is it okay? She’s a monster. And you’re a summoner and air mage. Is air magic that powerful?" Maya asked me. Worried if something could happen to me.

"Don’t worry. Also, air mage might be strong. But I don’t think it’s strong enough to defeat her. I’ll teach you about air magic later. For now, we will test how strong she is," I said.

"Please let me do it. We used to spar a lot when we were younger. I want to see if she could remember the technique she learned since we were young. We used the same spear technique after all," Graham said.

I think he’s more worried about the fact that I will be her opponent. Well, that is fine as well.

I have never seen her summoned all her wings. If she has been modified, maybe she will have different colors as well.

Maya then told Georgia to fight Graham with the intent to kill. I convinced Maya that it’s okay because Graham is strong and he’s her brother. If it’s too much to handle, I can tell Maya to stop Georgia from fighting.

Georgia then looked at her opponent. Maybe she judged that Graham is too strong so she summoned all her twelve wings on his back. And they’re all white wings.

I rushed toward Georgia and checked her condition with my Divine Vision. There’s no change in her body at all. Everything was the same as before.

The only difference was her wings. She usually only revealed a pair of wings or not at all. But now that all twelve of her wings have been revealed, she was able to speak.

Is this it? The solution for this was to let her reveal all her wings?

"Georgia! Do you remember me?" Graham grabbed her shoulder and asked.

"Graham... Ugh... AAAAAARGH!!!"

"Georgia, calm down!"

She’s ordering Georgia to calm down when the person herself is not calm at all. Though it works as Georgia no longer seems to be in pain.

Then the wings that are spread behind her disappeared. I guess that will make her calmer.

Maybe the number of her wings will help if we can talk with her.

"Maya, tell her that she can reveal ten of her wings. Maybe she will be calmer that way," I said.

Then, Georgia revealed five pairs of wings. She slowly able to recognize her surrounding and even Graham. But she seems like to be in pain. Except that the pain was not as much as before.

However, Georgia was still unable to speak properly other than calling Graham’s name.

"Maya, next is eight wings," I said.

"Are you sure it will work? What if she will still feel pain?" Maya asked.

"Oh, right. You don’t know. I’m also a doctor. Since you’re a daughter of a Duke you might have heard about discoveries of cure for various illnesses. That’s because of me. I’ll tell you everything little by little during our training. Just know that I’m a doctor. And right now, Georgia is the patient. Sometimes, to know the illness, I need my patient to feel more pain. Just trust me. I won’t force her to do something that will kill her," I said.

"In case you want to know, our Master is just way too amazing. He’s not just the King of monsters, a summoner, an air mage, and a doctor. He still has other secret identities," Jewel said.

Maya got interested in that. She will ask Jewel more about it. But Jewel won’t answer everything unless I reveal it myself first.

Georgia is with eight wings now. But she still seems in pain. So I reduce the number to six.

And now that there are only six wings, she no longer feels pain. But when Graham tried to talk to her, she didn’t respond. It was just like usual.

"Maya, whenever we as the summoner increase our level, sometimes, our familiars will grow stronger as well. The only thing that came to mind after seeing this is that your level is not enough for her to return back to normal," I said.

"Then I will improve my summoning level. I just need to let her fight, right? Then it should be easy." Maya said.

"Graham, only reveal six wings now. You will still fight Georgia. Maya, tell her to not reveal more than six wings yet. We will see how strong she is," I said.

Of course we will continue with the sparring. This is to see Georgia’s strength after all.

In her usual form with two wings, I found that she’s already about as strong as Shelia usually. That’s why I thought that if she has all her twelve wings, she will have much more raw power than Shelia.

But I guess it’s impossible to do that now. Though just revealing six wings is enough to improve her strength a lot.
