The Only Aura User In Magic World

Chapter 1017: The Cat

Chapter 1017: The Cat

This giant cat in front of us, or I should rather say cheetah, is fast. And not only that, it seems like he listened to our conversation from the start even when he was far away. I didn’t even notice him until he speaks.

Even then, his voice could reach us first before his body could enter my sight. That shows how dangerous this cheetah is.

"You’re this big lizard’s friends? Will you be my friends?" the giant cheetah asked.

"If we can become friends that would be great. But I know nothing about you yet. Maybe you’re actually our enemy’s familiar or tamed monster. If that’s the case, then we can only be enemies," I said. Still holding my spear forward.

"I’m not anyone’s familiar or tamed monster. I never have been one. And if the one you call as your enemy is those who transformed the big tortoise into a fortress, then they are my enemies as well. I used to sleep on his shell. But just when I was away for a few years, the big tortoise has changed. And he couldn’t even recognize me anymore. Also, those humans tried to capture me. But I’m faster than them."

When he said that he escaped from the humans, he seems to be proud. He’s a monster that is proud with his extreme speed.

If he tries to kill us, there’s not much we can do. Probably I will be the only one to survive. So even now, I will always be prepared to open a portal at any time.

With my left hand behind my back, I pointed to the right side. That’s where I will open a portal. And when I open the portal, I will have them all enter it by running to the right side.

Everyone then slowly moved to the right side. Except for Albert who instead walked forward and stood next to me. He’s in my right side though.

"Will you ever be under anyone’s control?" Albert asked.

"Me? No way. If you want to control me then forget I asked you to be my friends," the cat said.

"No, we won’t try to control you. This guy even only makes monsters that are willing to help to be his familiars," Albert said as he pointed at me.

Seems like everything the cat said was true. Albert didn’t seem to catch the cat lying.

"The cat might not be lying. But he’s someone who changes his mind easily. So don’t trust him completely," Andro said.

"Hey, that was unnecessary!" the cat complained as he stomped his foot on Andro’s head. But Andro didn’t seem to feel it at all.

"So what do you want by coming here? I’m sure that you want something from us. That’s why you make an appearance in front of us," Albert asked.

"Well, it seems like the big lizard is close with you guys. Then I heard a bit of what you were talking about," the cat said.

"Then I will explain everything," Albert said.

But before he explained it to the cat, I stopped him first.

"Albert, we have been discussing for a while already. Everyone is still busy with their duty. I will return them back home first," I said to Albert.

I don’t think there’s nothing more important than what’s happening here. But right now, when we don’t know the intention of this monster that Andro called the cat, we have to be careful. So everyone needs to be in safety before we could do anything more.

And Albert looked at me before he looked at the others behind us. He nodded in understanding.

"I’m not that busy, so I will stay. Roy, bring everyone back," Albert said.

Quickly, I opened multiple portals at once and instruct where which king should go to return home. The cat looked at the portal in awe.

I know a bit about cats. They’re a creature that can fit into any small gap because of how flexible they are. As long as the gap is a bit bigger than their head, then they should be able to enter it.

That’s why I made the portals smaller than the cat’s head. Only one person able to enter them at a time. This way, the cat won’t be able to enter.

This leaves only Albert and I behind. Since I’m here, I can protect Albert at least if the cat is trying to do harm to him. I might be slower, but I should still be able to react fast enough if anything happened.

Albert then talked to the cat about everything that happened. The cat was very curious about many things, so it took a long time to explain. As for Andro, he just continues flying without a care.

"Haha! That’s interesting. So they wanted to not only destroy your world. They also wanted to destroy this world. While forcing many monsters to undergo dangerous modification to be stronger until they lost their mind and just be a puppet like the big tortoise?" the cat asked.

"That’s more or less what happened. Whether the big tortoise has lost his mind or simply unable to say anything because he’s still trying to resist the tamer’s order until now, we don’t know. But one thing for sure is that the big tortoise is now a moving base for the cult. And it’s likely that the Evil God is hiding there," Albert said.

"But the possibility is not high. We found traces of the Evil God on Earth. So it’s more likely that he’s on Earth for some reason. There’s something on Earth that is good for the Evil God. At least that’s my guess," I said.

I might not be the smartest. But I think a lot.

"I never thought you would reach that conclusion yourself. We also made that conclusion after a lot of brainstorming. For someone with brain damage, it’s amazing how you can think of that," Albert praised me.

The cat seems to be thinking about something. Then, instead of Albert, he’s looking at me.

"Hey, he said that you built a village for monsters, right? Not only there are your familiars’ species, but there are also other species. Even the big lizard’s great grandchildren are there. Can I go there? I want to see those weretigers," the cat said.

"You want to go there? Hmm..."

I started thinking. But in fact, I’m actually sending telepathic message to Shelia, Graham, and Crabbe. Telling them that there’s a big cat coming and he could possibly be our friend. So they can’t be hostile to the cat.

They will spread the news to the other monsters so they can be ready for the cat’s arrival.

"Let’s do it. Andro, for when we will attack the base inside the tortoise shell, we will have more discussion later. Just wait for it," I said to Andro.

"Sure. Tell me when you’re ready," Andro said.

"Then... what should I call you? The Cat? The Cheetah? Do you have a name?" I asked.

"Name? Like the one you call the big lizard with? Name, huh?" the cat started thinking.

"If you want, we can figure out together what your name will be. Consider it a gift for our first meeting," I said.

"You will give me a name? That’s great! Give me an amazing name!" the cat shouted.

Meanwhile, Albert looked at me in terror. What? I’m just going to suggest for some names. Do I really have a bad naming sense?

Then Albert, Victoria, and I started thinking of a good name for the cat. The cat refused them all. Until finally we decided on a name.

"Then I will be Pawzer from now on!" the cat shouted.

We can’t spend time here for too long just to discuss his name. So I suggested Pawzer. From the word Panzer from Victoria’s world. It’s some kind of amazing thing. I don’t really understand. And since he’s a cat, I changed the letter "N" to "W" so it became Pawzer. And the cat seems happy with it. While Albert and Victoria sighed as they looked at me.

At least we gifted the cat something good. This way, he will have positive impression of us and will less likely to betray us.

"Then Pawzer, nice to meet you. Shall we go now?" I said as I opened a portal.

Albert already entered it while Pawzer still stood there and watched the portal even though it’s big enough for him to enter.

"I prefer to run there. How about you hop onto my back and tell me the direction to your village?" Pawzer suggested.

I don’t know the direction to the village, but Andro did. And so, after telling Albert that I will ride Pawzer, I closed the portal.

Few seconds later, and we’re already at the village. While I fall from Pawzer’s back and vomited everything I have eaten to the ground.

That’s too fast. Much faster than I expected him.

"Umm... Pawzer, how fast are you?" Albert asked curiously.

"I have never run at my fastest speed, so I don’t know. But there was a time when the morning sun was so bright so I run so fast that the sun went back to sleep. But that was not my fastest speed," Pawzer replied.

So he ran fast enough that the sun that was supposed to have risen, disappear again. That’s too fast.

I need to make sure that whatever we do, we won’t make him join the cult.
