After dropping Xiaoze off at school, Mu Yiliang also arrived at the company.

She took a stroll around the office, only to remember that her work location had changed.

"What?" Mu Yiliang looked up.

"If you like it, this bouquet is yours," Young Master Gu said casually, with a light and airy tone.

"Huh? There’s no need, taking it back would be inconvenient," Mu Yiliang refused without a second thought.

Gu Qingqian’s expression stiffened!

"What did you say?" He spoke through gritted teeth.

"Oh..." Mu Yiliang realized she might have hurt his ego and quickly tried to make amends, "I mean, if my son sees it, he might think I’m finding him a stepdad, and that’ll make him sad."

"Always about the son..." Gu Qingqian scoffed lightly with disdain.

This woman previously mentioned wanting to find a chef for her son and a driver to pick him up from school, but she hadn’t made any moves on these things lately. Clearly, the son was just an excuse!

Young Master Gu sneered internally, suddenly finding the large bouquet of roses quite an eyesore!

Did this woman not know that he personally picked out these roses at the store? It was the first time he had gone to such lengths for a woman, yet she wasn’t grateful at all?

Even though he knew asking her to take a bouquet from his office would cause a stir, he wasn’t surprised she’d refuse. But he thought she’d at least be touched. How could she be so indifferent?
