Chapter 151: Responsibilities
Chapter 151: Responsibilities
Emily moved her hands from the wall and grabbed his hips. He turned his head so that they could kiss. The soap had long been rinsed by the cascading water. She wanted him inside me now.
He bent over a little and positioned his long, hard dick at the entrance of her core. She pushed herself on to him and kept pushing back until he was rooted deep inside. She felt complete. Chris grabbed her hips and started to move her along his shaft.
"Oh God, this feels good. Mmmm, yes, like that. I love to feel you sliding in me like this," Emily moaned.
The only response she got was a growl. She could feel him get bigger and stretch her more. She felt fur against her legs and paws on her hips. His instincts took over, and he started slamming into her harder and faster . She could hear their flesh slapping together and hear the squish of the water and her juices. He was rubbing against her G-spot, and Emily was quaking and quivering. She could feel her orgasm building. It was a start. Emilt felt shattered with a primal scream. As her pussy muscles clamped down on his rock hard cock, he started to howl. With one final thrust, he pushed his way to her cervix, and she felt his knot pop into her womb. That forced another ripping orgasm from her.
Emily was shaking, and the only thing holding her up was Chris’s grip on her hips.
She felt the fur turn back to skin and the paws back to hands. His knot receded, and he eased himself out of her still gripping pussy.
"Wow, you can really clamp down. Are you trying to break it off?" he laughed. "You could hurt a guy that way."
"I didn’t hear you complaining a minute ago, Mister! In fact, I think you kind of liked it." Emily replied.
"I will never complain about being inside of your sweet body. It is indescribable. I feel like I am home and in heaven all at the same time. I could spend my life locked with you," he said. "Now finish your shower and get dressed."
Emily hurried and finished her shower. She got out and wrapped in a towel and went to find her new clothes.
As she unfolded the clothes she’d found neatly laid out—a pair of jeans, a soft button-up blouse, and cosy socks—she frowned slightly, realising there was no underwear. She made a mental note to mention it to Chris later, then quickly got dressed.
The muffled sound of voices drifted towards her as she fastened the last button. It sounded like Chris’s mother had returned, and from the warmth in their voices, she could tell Chris was happily chatting away with her. She took a deep breath, brushed a few stray droplets of water from her face, and headed towards the door, hoping she wouldn’t interrupt anything.
As she entered the cosy living room, she saw Chris lounging on the sofa, his usual relaxed smile in place, while his mother sat across from him, an easy warmth in her gaze. A small plate of cookies rested between them on the coffee table, along with a steaming teapot and two mugs.
Chris looked up, his eyes lighting up as he spotted her. "Hey, you’re just in time!" he said, patting the space besides him on the sofa. "Mum’s been waiting for you to join us."
Emily felt a bit embarrassed; what would her mother think ? That she was intimate with Chris as soon as she left ?
As if reading her thoughts, Chris laughed and said, "
"Don’t worry, Mum’s knows everything," he teased, his eyes dancing with mischief. "Besides, I already told her you’re here for more than my good looks."
His mother chuckled softly, patting the seat besides her. "Emily, dear, you both are mates; wolves are not prudes."
Emily felt her cheeks heat up, but the welcoming tone in his mother’s voice helped her relax. She settled onto the sofa, accepting a cup of tea that Chris poured for her.
Chris’s mother passed her a plate of cookies, still warm from the oven. "You know, he’s not as carefree as he seems. He has a good heart, but he needs someone who can ground him."
"Oh, I don’t know if I’m that person," Emily replied shyly, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "But I know I’m very grateful to be here. Your family... your home... it’s wonderful."
Chris grinned, nudging her with his elbow. "Mum knows all the stories of the pack, too. I figured you might like to hear some of them."
Emily’s eyes lit up with interest. "I’d love that," she said, leaning forward. "I always feel like I’m learning something new about this life."
Chris’s mother studied Emily thoughtfully, her warm gaze now carrying a hint of seriousness.
"You know, as the Beta’s mate, there will be responsibilities," she said gently, her voice laced with encouragement. "Our pack relies on its Beta pair for strength and guidance. You’ll be expected to train and learn to protect and lead in your own way. I understand that’s a lot to take in, but being by Chris’s side will require a certain strength."
Emily felt a rush of nerves twist in her stomach, and her face paled slightly. She cast an uncertain glance at Chris, searching for reassurance.
"We haven’t really discussed all of that yet," Chris admitted, looking a little sheepish but determined. "Emily’s still... well, human. She hasn’t decided if or when she’ll make the change."
His mother nodded slowly, understanding the complexities that came with this choice. "Youu have time," she said gently, her eyes softening with empathy. "But it’s important to know that joining the pack fully—as one of us—means taking on a role that will change you."
She knew that being with Chris meant embracing a part of his world, but she hadn’t anticipated the responsibilities that came with being the Beta’s mate. She had always imagined herself in the background, supportive yet removed from the heart of pack life. The idea of training—having to physically defend the pack or lead others—was daunting.
Squeezing her hand, Chris gave her a reassuring smile. "Look, Emily, none of this is decided yet. You’re here as my mate, and nothing has to change until you’re ready. If you want to take on those responsibilities, you’ll have my support—and if you don’t, well, that’s something we’ll figure out together."
"Thank you for telling me," she said quietly, meeting his mother’s gaze. "I’ll think about it. And I’ll be ready... when the time is right."
