Chapter 1714 - 795: Slaying the "Aberration" (2)

Chapter 1714 - 795: Slaying the "Aberration" (2)

Trolian finally caught a glimpse of victory, only to instantly lose five top warriors, an unimaginable loss.

The Book of the Future remained silent; it could not foresee futures related to the "bizarre."

Yet, the Book of Knowledge confidently clapped its pages and said, "Don’t worry, Master. Do you remember the first time we used the Heavenly Sphere Clock to view the Ancient City?"

Rod frowned, struggling to recall the scene back then.

"It seemed no different from now, uh, wait."

He remembered that while observing the Ancient City, an eyeball floated up from the flesh and took a glance in the direction of the Dream Realm, causing significant pollution to the Dream Realm.

If not for having plenty of Goddess’ Tears in reserve back then, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

This time, however, the eyeball that rose from the flesh just rotated once before sinking back down.

Rod suddenly realized, "You mean, the Dream Realm has grown stronger?"

The Book of Knowledge proudly said, "Exactly, Master. Compared to before, we now have over 500 Source Energy shards, more fragments, and a completion rate over fifteen percent. More importantly, you’ve entered the True King Realm... the Dream Realm is far stronger than before, and the darkness within the Ancient City no longer poses a threat to us!"

Rod’s heart was warmed, feeling a surge of heat expanding from his heart.

Yes, things have changed for me!

I am the Master of Dreams, with 20 Stars and 15 million Absolute Spiritual Power!

Not even the former Master of Dreams may have been much stronger than I am.

It’s merely an ancient relic. What is there to fear?

Resolving his mind, Rod wasted no time and left the Dream Realm, gathering Horus and the others.

It’s strange to say, but the Spiritual Energy inside and outside the gray mist is isolated, yet spiritual communication within remains unhindered.

Horus and the others immediately gathered around Rod.

"Did you find the way?"

Horus asked eagerly, always confident in Rod’s miracle-working abilities. In every difficulty, Rod finds a way to solve it in a wholly unexpected manner.

Unknowingly, Horus had developed a dependency.

As expected, Rod provided a definite answer.

"Yes, Archbishop. I noticed subtle distortions and anomalies in the Space. With my extraordinary wisdom and unparalleled perception, I found the path inward."

Horus’ face, like dry wood, immediately showed a smile, "No one but you could have done it, lead the way!"

He had no doubts, nor did he ask for specific reasons.

In his view, the relics within the "bizarre" were paramount, everything else secondary.

Kai and Olivia found it incredible, but there was no time to inquire; they could only follow Rod deeper.

Throughout the journey, Rod zigzagged, his figure flickering as if he were a headless fly, haphazardly flying.

Yet, an air of determination emanated from him, as if the path he took was indeed the right one.

Sure enough, soon, the gray mist thinned, the space before them opened up, and the various waves in the space returned gradually into perception.

Horus clearly sensed a vast, twisted power right beneath them.

"We’ve arrived!" Rod shouted.

Their surroundings darkened momentarily as the gray mist dissipated, revealing a massive, somber Ancient City before them.

The city was awash with writhing flesh, and when they stepped into the space, countless shrieks emitted from the flesh, tens of thousands of eyeballs rose from the flesh, and a colossal arm stretched forth from within.

million ke of spiritual energy surged forth, the powerful Source Law disseminated in space, and black corruption rose from all directions, rushing towards them.

"Ancient God!"

Horus exclaimed.

"It’s an Ancient God!"

At this moment, Rod’s heart stabilized, though unable to feel the strength of the Source Law, it wasn’t much stronger than theirs.

This was a fallen Ancient God, not an Ancient God of past ages.

Infinite golden light exploded in the sky, a burning sun descended, evaporating the black corruption instantly.

At the same time, a beam of thorough white light condensed into a giant sword descending from the sky, piercing through the gigantic arm and stabbing straight into the center of the Ancient City.

A tremendous wail erupted from the city, and Horus and Kai unleashed their full might, grievously wounding the Ancient God instantly.

However, what makes an Ancient God different from other monsters is that it not only possesses powerful spiritual energy, resilient Source Law, but also a resilient Divine Soul, Divine Kingdom, Divine Fire, and Divine Origin Base.

A massive humming sound emanated from the city, tens of thousands of eyeballs fixed upon them, emitting intangible pollution, more than 100 million ke of Divine Kingdom Spiritual Power instantly enveloped the Ancient God, and more arms reached out from the flesh, waving at the sky to attack the sun.

Countless fleshy organs swelled into various monsters and climbed onto the giant sword.

Not one to be outdone, Horus summoned more intense white light from the giant sword, manifesting a giant formed of white light in mid-air, grasping the giant sword to slay fiercely.

Likewise, from within the sky’s sun, a warrior illuminated with golden light emerged, the entire sun transforming into his armor, a giant sword of sunlight in his hand battling the arms of flesh.
