"Book, why was the super giant mud demon born under the influence of the Black Fog and the weirdness? How is this weirdness related to the weirdness in the diary?"

Asa sneered, arrogance returning to his tainted Soul: "Don’t be too happy, you broken book. My growth is right before my eyes, while yours is far off; one day, I will make you regret it."

After saying this, he broke free from Rod’s hand with a snap and dove back into the swamp.

A long while later, he emerged from the swamp, his Soul more turbid, filled with corrupt yellow and deep darkness, prompting even the Book of Knowledge to marvel: "What strong corrupting power."

The puppet whispered: "The strength of the Source Law has already surpassed 20 units of Strong Source. Asa might soon become a unique True King—guided by corruption, using himself as the Source Law to carve out a new path."

The Book of the Future scoffed: "What’s so great about that? It’s still just eating crap."

Though saying this, Rod could clearly feel its insecurity. If Asa truly became the King of Devouring Excrement first, its days would be troubled.

Of course, Rod didn’t care; as long as he was present, their conflict would never escalate.

"Asa, this is the excrement sediment I obtained from the Soul; it might be useful to you."

Asa was delighted: "This is excrement containing power; it’s a great supplement for me."

He took out 2 pieces of Divine Source Material from his Soul Body.

Rod huffed, using Spiritual Energy to take these 2 pieces of Divine Source Material, internally deciding that he would wash them a hundred times before handling them, while giving all the excrement sediment to Asa.

Asa happily embraced this mountain of excrement, found a vacant space in the Dream Realm, and lay down on it to eat.

Returning to Sagus City, Rod relayed all his findings to the scholar Professor Bins and Professor Barrett.

Professor Bins pondered: "Very strange, I haven’t found any writings related to ’the weird’ in Ancient Sagu City. Most of the ancient texts here discuss the ’Eternal Sanctuary’, the Star Marrow Altar, and a being referred to as ’the Master’."

Professor Barrett stroked his chin: "The strange thing is, according to our inference, this ’Master’ doesn’t seem to be one of the four True Gods. Could there be another powerful entity that the gods would call ’the Master’?"

Rod smiled awkwardly; without a doubt, this ’Master’ should be the former Master of Dreams. The ’Eternal Sanctuary’ and the Star Marrow Altar were both established by the seven lesser gods.

"Did you find traces of the other three lesser gods?"

Professor Bins shook his head: "No, but some texts mention that at the last moment of despair, they went to seek the only hope."

After chatting for a moment, Horus, Kai, Olivia, and the Dark Moon Princess gradually returned.

Although they didn’t find any Divine Source Material, they brought back many precious resources and acquired lots of critical information.

The most notable aspect was that descriptions of ’the weird’ were found in Olka Ancient City, Trank Mountain Castle, and the Blood Red Ancient City. It seems to be a special existence within the Taranor Divine Kingdom. By unlocking it, one can break through the restrictions of the Black Fog.

Additionally, Olivia and the Dark Moon Princess discovered the Blood God’s Sacrificial Refining Field in the Blood Red Ancient City. From the remaining information, they learned that the Blood God’s Root Origin Strength had already broken through to 15 units.

Rod was incredibly surprised; he distinctly remembered the Blood God’s Soul having only 3 units of Root Origin. What about the other 12?

The Book of Knowledge speculated: "Perhaps in the endless ages, 12 units of Root Origin were lost."

Unexpectedly to Rod, this conjecture might be correct, as the Sacrificial Refining Field also had records of the consumption of Divine Source Material. Based on the remaining text, at least 15 units of Divine Source Material had been fused into the Blood God’s Soul.
