Chapter 725: Defeating Hu Song

Chapter 725: Defeating Hu Song

Close combat had warriors like Guangtou Qiang and Li Shaolong, while the long-range support came from Ju Ling and Tanya. The healing team was made up of the Fein siblings. Indeed, a fully-formed battle squad had taken shape.

During their last encounter with the Human Peacekeeping Operations Group's Old Man, the siblings played a pivotal role. With their presence, the others could attack without any reservations.

Guangtou Qiang emanated a soft golden glow, looking as though he had turned into a golden statue. He also wielded the capabilities of the Iron Curtain Device, making his defense seemingly invincible. With the healing domain of the Fein siblings to back him up, he was even more formidable, landing heavy punches on Hu Song.

For the first time, Li Shaolong altered his attack pattern, executing grand and sweeping moves. Each strike carried a tremendous energy, hitting Hu Song all over his body.

Boris and his clone were dual-wielding their firearms, covertly summoning the MiG Fighter, ready to strike at any moment.

Originally, Natasha was a sniper. However, with Ju Ling around, she had shifted to close combat. But now, with the overwhelming number of Super Soldiers in close combat, she reverted to her old role, taking up her sniper rifle alongside Ju Ling.

Yun Ru brandished a massive drill that seemed capable of piercing the heavens.

Lily's unique powers posed a challenge for Hu Song. Unlike ordinary abilities, hers was akin to a special Transcendent Ability.

Yuri and Libra, in synchronized harmony, used psychic powers to distract Hu Song, preparing their secret moves in the shadows. Ju Ling and Natasha did the same, establishing this pattern as their combat norm.

It was evident that over time, their strengths had significantly improved. Especially Ju Ling; after becoming a Superhuman, she stood as the most powerful among the Super Soldiers. The others paled in comparison.

If her power ever reached the Large Galaxy level, no one of the same rank would probably withstand a single shot from her.

"Merely Small Galaxy-level beings! How could you possibly withstand me?" Hu Song scoffed, though feeling humiliated by the hits he took from Guangtou Qiang.

When had a Large Galaxy-level powerhouse like him ever been hit by those of the Small Galaxy level?

With a mighty shout, Hu Song unleashed his energy, forming a vortex, pushing everyone away. He then released his domain, enveloping everyone.

Within this domain, silver needles appeared, glinting menacingly, and hurled towards the Super Soldiers.

"This is bad, these needles can penetrate energy! We can only block them with our bodies!" Yun Ru exclaimed upon discerning the needles' properties.

"Psychic powers might work," came Libra's voice.

"My powers can also counteract them," Lily interjected.

Except for these three, the rest struggled against the needles. Without the healing domain of the Fein siblings, the injuries from the needles alone might have rendered them incapacitated.

"We have to break this domain!" Ju Ling's determination was evident. Adjusting her sniper rifle, she aimed high and silently fired a shot.

This domain was Hu Song's pride. Relying on it, his strength was unparalleled among his peers. The needles, capable of piercing through any energy, targeted the core essence of his opponents.

However, his smugness was short-lived. A gush of blood spilled from his mouth - a backlash from his domain. It had been breached!

"It's impossible... How could my domain..." Hu Song, in disbelief, could not finish his sentence.

The most direct way to break a domain was to overload it. But he was a Large Galaxy-level powerhouse. How could these Small Galaxy-level beings shatter his domain?

Regardless of his disbelief, the fact remained that his domain had vanished, leaving him seriously wounded.

Seizing this opportunity, the Fein siblings ramped up their energy. Their healing domain emitted constant green specks, restoring everyone's health, and together they launched a concerted assault on Hu Song, who could barely defend himself.

"The situation with the fleet is under control. The real battle is right there," Su Yi remarked.

After withstanding their firepower, the enemy fleet dwindled to less than a thousand ships. Earlier, Su Yi had positioned nearly two thousand warships behind the enemy fleet, which now launched a surprise attack, enveloping them in a pincer movement. Victory was inevitable.

Su Yi's gaze focused on the epicenter of the battle. All he could discern were streaks of light, the combatants moving too fast for the naked eye. Only someone of Su Yi's caliber could vaguely follow the action.

The Super Soldiers had the upper hand, but who could predict the enemy's trump card? One should never underestimate a Large Galaxy-level powerhouse.

"Deploy the Superweapon - Oceanic Needle. Target their Large Galaxy-level powerhouse," Su Yi commanded, followed by another, "Activate the Superweapon - Instant Upgrade Device. Target Ju Ling."

Simultaneously, two superweapons activated from the Twin Moon Star. A colossal shadow of a staff materialized in the cosmos, entrapping Hu Song.

This technology from the Red Alert Base introduced Hu Song to true pain for the first time.

"What... what kind of technology is this?" Trembling, Hu Song tried to escape, but the pressure inside was far greater.

To the Super Soldiers, the use of the superweapon was clearly Su Yi's doing. They weren't bothered about the means as long as the end was achieved. If it led to the enemy's defeat, even if every superweapon was deployed, they would not find it strange.

Without warning, Ju Ling felt a surge of power coursing through her, a strength that was rapidly waning. She realized this boost would last only a minute. During this minute, her power would escalate to the Large Galaxy Third Order.

With the enemy immobilized by the Oceanic Needle, they were practically sitting ducks. If she missed now, Ju Ling felt she might as well retire from combat.

Holding the Soul Slayer, her gaze unwavering, she channeled all her energy into the weapon, creating a bullet potent enough to obliterate a small planet.

The bullet soared. Time seemed to pause. Almost immediately after the gun's report, a hole appeared in Hu Song's head.

Despite the catastrophic injury, his Large Galaxy-level constitution kept him from dying instantly.

"Am... am I dying?" A bewildered look lingered in Hu Song's eyes. (To be continued...)
