Chapter 713: The Villain Files a Complaint First

If the chair came down hard and was sturdy, Guo Yongye's hands would definitely have been broken.

"They barged in and assaulted me, call security immediately." Guo Yongye shouted.

"How could you hit Dr. Guo?" a nurse quickly checked Dr. Guo's injuries.

"Why waste time talking? I'm calling security." Another nurse pulled out a cell phone.

Li Xue could no longer hold back. She protected Xue Meiyun and shouted, "It was that beast Guo Yongye who attempted to rape my friend. Shouldn't someone like that be beaten?"

"I didn't… you're slandering me!" Guo Yongye hurriedly defended himself.

Lin Hao glanced at him coldly, then took out his phone and dialed Director Kang of the police station.

"Director Kang?"

"County Magistrate Lin, what's the matter?" Director Kang replied joyfully.

"I'm at the Internal Medicine Department of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. There's a beast here trying to rape my sister. Please bring some people over," Lin Hao said gravely.

"Alright, I'll be there immediately." Director Kang responded loudly.

It was thanks to Lin Hao's backing that he was appointed director, even though it was the political and legal affairs secretary who led the move. Director Kang remembered the favor well.

Previously, Director Kang wanted to continue investigating the Shen Family, who were against Lin Hao, but Lin Hao had asked him to stop to avoid retaliation from the Shens.

Lin Hao pretended to be unaware of the matter. The Shen Family, fearing further complications, also refrained from sending people to tail Lin Hao, leaving the issue temporarily unresolved.

Of course, Lin Hao certainly hadn't forgotten Shen Ping of the Shen Family, as she was the mastermind behind it and part of the family's outer circle.

Guo Yongye redirected his rage at Lin Hao, swearing to have the man who hit him put behind bars.

At this moment, several security guards rushed in.

"Dr. Guo, what happened?" asked Li Wei, the security captain, loudly.

"Captain Li, you're just in time. That punk hit me with a chair, arrest him." Dr. Guo pointed at Lin Hao, his eyes filled with murder.

"What? Attacking someone in our hospital, he clearly wants to die!" Li Wei turned to look at the three of them.

Li Xue knew Li Wei and they were even from the same neighborhood, having a decent relationship. She quickly interjected, "Captain Li, don't listen to him. This beast tried to rape my friend, and now he falsely accuses others first!"

Li Wei looked at Xue Meiyun's tear-streaked face and frowned, turning to Dr. Guo, clearly unsure of what to do.

"Captain Li, don't listen to Li Xue. That slut tried to seduce me to settle a complaint…" Guo Yongye continued with his story.

"Since both sides have differing statements, come with us to the security office and sort this out," Li Wei said seriously.

"No need. I've already called the police, and they're on the way," Lin Hao interjected.

"What? Called the police?" Li Wei was shocked, his heart sinking heavily.

With the higher-ups visiting the hospital for research and inspection today, if this blew up and the leaders found out, it would be a headache.

"Captain Li, don't listen to him. It was this punk who hit me with a chair. Look at the broken fragments everywhere…" Guo Yongye pointed to the scattered wooden pieces.

"You beast, you deserve to be beaten!" Li Xue shouted angrily.

"Li Xue, stop messing around here!"

Guo Yongye glared viciously at Li Xue and Lin Hao, pointing at Lin Hao and roaring, "You little punk, you dared hit me! You're dead!"

Just then, Director Kang arrived hurriedly with a few police officers.

Li Xue's lips curled into a proud smile as she wiped the tears from Xue Meiyun's face.

"It's that beast!" Lin Hao pointed at Dr. Guo, as if sentencing him to death.

"Arrest him!" Director Kang waved his hand, and two police officers lunged forward, pulling out handcuffs.

Guo Yongye, seeing the cold handcuffs, finally reacted. He fell to his knees in fright with a thud.

"County Magistrate Lin, I was wrong. It's my fault, please spare me…" Guo Yongye pleaded tearfully.

A pair of cold handcuffs snapped shut.
