The Growth of a Titan in the Cultivation World

Chapter 366 - 364- All Because Of Little Althorne

Chapter 366 - 364- All Because Of Little Althorne

A majority of the disciples in the crowd had their faces contorted rage or contemptuous expressions when they realized the person who suddenly appeared was Woo-Seong.

"What the hell? So the rumors were true, Woo-Seong came to the Heaven Arena to reclaim his position?"

"But didn’t the Shaolin Sect forbid any member of the Wudang Sect from stepping foot outside for the next sixty years?"

"Wait! Is he planning on entering the Tournament?!"

"Fuck, no way! Are they really going to allow that when his Innate Dharma was stolen from someone and given to him by his father?"

"Right, I won’t stay silent if they allow this bastard to enter the Tournament."

"Me neither!"

"That’s right!"

"Yeah...!"

As the crowd of disciples went into an uproar upon seeing Woo-Seong, Quilt and Altair were looking at the stage with shock and confusion on their faces.

Quilt was the first to voice the latter.

"Did that freak just gain enlightenment and form a Domain?"

However, he then showed a curious expression as he added.

"So it was that easy to form a Domain? Maybe I should try it out. Quick! Hurry and show me your Domain!"

Quilt yelled as he turned to Altair.

Altair snapped out of his shock state and turned to look at him with mockery in his eyes.

"Do you think you can just form a Domain by looking at one, especially when you’re a Magic Knight? It’s near impossible for you to form one."

Quilt was unconvinced.

"But what about that freak? He did it."

Quilt jabbed a finger towards the stage, causing Altair to snort in disdain.

"He was likely already on the verge of forming one and just needed a catalyst."

Quilt frowned.

"He was already a nuisance before, but now he’s become an even greater nuisance."

Altair nodded.

"I estimated his strength to be slightly above yours after our clash, but now he might even give me some problems."

Quilt was annoyed upon hearing that, but he knew that wasn’t meant to be an insult on Altair’s part but a calculated observation.

"However..."

Altair suddenly added.

"...he’s strange. I thought he was just suppressing his cultivation to show off, but upon closer look, it seems his cultivation is being suppressed by a few seals."

"Someone sealed his cultivation?"

Quilt asked slightly intrigued, but Altair shook his head.

"No, it looks like he did it to himself, presumably as a form train."

Quilt frowned once more.

He found himself frowning a lot today.

"That’s similar to Princess Rina’s method of training."

"Yeah, and that makes my caution towards him increase."

Altair then sighed and said regretfully.

"I should have used a five or even six-layered 4th Class spell to kill him when I had the chance."

Quilt scoffed.

"You’re just useless, all you’re scheming amounted to nothing."

"Damn it! Like I said, it was my misjudgment of his strength! I won’t deny our failure was on me."

Meanwhile, on the stage, Sol patted Woo-Seong’s back and said.

"Okay, okay, it’s good to see you too. You can let go of me now."

Woo-Seong retreated and looked at Sol with a grin.

He was almost a head taller than Sol now.

Sol looked up at his face with a strange expression. But soon, a serious look covered his features as he asked softly.

"What happened to you?"

Woo-Seong knew Sol was referring to what happened over half a year ago.

It was hard not to hear the loud curses of the crowd below.

Forcing a smile, Woo-Seong said.

"I’ll explain things later. For now..."

Woo-Seong turned to glare at Althorne floating above the stage and continued with a growl.

"...we should deal with him."

Sol turned to look at Althorne as well, who was looking down from his elevated position with an amicable smile on his face.

Sol returned his smile as if he was looking at a long-time friend.

"Let me handle him."

Sol whispered before he went to step forward. However, he suddenly turned to look at the blood at the corner of Woo-Seong’s lips and asked.

"Are you okay?"

Woo-Seong turned to look at Sol and grinned once more as he patted his chest before saying.

"My fleshly body might not be as great as yours Brother Sol, but it’s still formidable. My regenerative abilities are also quite good."

Sol smiled, knowing the reason for that aspect.

If he thought about it, out of everyone Sol met so far, Woo-Seong was the person closest to him in terms of his cultivation path.

Sol reached up and patted Woo-Seong’s head a bit before turning and leaving Woo-Seong feeling a little embarrassed.

Why was Sol treating him like a little kid?

No, what’s more, why did he feel no aversion towards this treatment?

Unbeknownst to Woo-Seong, Sol had somewhat come to view him as a younger version of himself.

Perhaps it was similar to how a father looks at their son?

And it didn’t help that Woo-Seong had called Sol father in all manner of speech upon their first meeting.

Sol couldn’t help but feel slightly responsible for Woo-Seong because of that.

Though that was quite funny given that there was a one-to-two-year age gap between them.

Walking over to Yoon-Jae and Mar-Dule, Sol patted them on their backs reassuringly.

Yoon-Jae and Mar-Dule stepped aside a little and turned to look at him.

"Are you alright?"

Yoon-Jae asked, referring to his enlightenment.

Sol nodded and turned to look up at Althorne.

"I was successful, all because of Little Althorne."

He then took a sudden step forward after saying that. With that step, his figure vanished along with his presence.

Althorne’s gray pupils constricted upon seeing this and he immediately spun around.

However, he was too late, and Sol’s hand was already inches away from his face.

Althorne felt an intense sensation of death fill his entire being. It was the feeling of being plunged into a frigid dark abyss, and it caused him to tremble uncontrollably.

However, there was absolutely nothing he could do.

It wasn’t that Sol was too fast, but his presence had vanished from his preception so thoroughly that it caused his reaction to lag.

Fear erupted in Althorne’s heart as Sol’s hand approached.

But weirdly, instead of going down for his throat, Sol’s hand went up to his head.

Was Sol going to crush his skull and extinguish his soul?

Althorne thought, but that thought hadn’t fully form when he suddenly felt his hair being tussled.

This gentle and harmless action was a stark contrast to what he had envisioned. So much so, that it caused him to tremble even harder.

With a smile on his face, Sol said.

"I should thank you, Little Althorne, for being the catalase for my breakthrough. You even attacked a second time to make sure my enlightenment was successful."

Althorne floated there in silence, cold sweat dripping down his back in waves. He shifted his head up to look at Sol, and seeing the smile on his face, slight terror encroached on his heart.

Althorne barely had the peace of mind to continue smiling to keep up his façade.

Meanwhile, Quilt and Altair, who were watching several hundred meters away, had their expressions change dramatically.

All of a sudden, they both wondered who had avoided death during their clash with Sol.
