Li Chen nodded, "The leader is right, the small issue is just peeping at someone else’s privacy, but if it involves eavesdropping on state secrets, then that’s a serious problem!"

"State staff often stay in this hotel, if any secrets are recorded, it could cause damage!" Ye Qian added.

"Yeah, now what do we do? How can we find out who installed this thing?" Ling Feng asked.

"Let’s take a look at the content first!"

After saying this, Li Chen took out the card reader.

Ye Qian and Lin Xue dismantled the camera on the side, and removed all the storage cards inside.

Ling Feng, watching beside them, couldn’t help feeling helpless and said, "What kind of person would be so bored to make so many variations of this thing!"

"To cater to the tastes of certain people, perhaps."

While reading the cards, Li Chen continued, "This level of covert filming equipment is just at the civilian level."

"Oh? Does our Bureau of Security have something more powerful?" Ling Feng asked.

"Yeah, leader, didn’t you know?" Li Chen asked.

Before coming, he had verified the identities of Ling Feng and Lin Xue, knowing that both of them held military ranks higher than his, hence he addressed them respectfully as ’leader’.

Ling Feng smiled, "I hardly ever use our internal gear, so I’m not very familiar with it."

"That makes sense."

Li Chen nodded and began to look through the content on the storage card. The card from the bathroom had been destroyed by Lin Xue, now he was looking at the ones from the bedroom.

Curious, Ling Feng leaned over to the screen, skipping through several videos before he came to one that showed people in the room.

The video displayed a young man and woman who embraced and kissed passionately as soon as they entered the room, with quite explicit scenes.

Ling Feng was transfixed while watching; Lin Xue and Ye Qian, on the other hand, turned red and quickly averted their eyes.

Yet, Ling Feng and Li Chen both watched with great interest, reluctant to fast forward!

Finally, Ye Qian, unable to stand it, glared at Li Chen, "Hey, have you had your fill yet? Focus on the important parts!"

"Oh, right!"

Li Chen hurriedly continued skimming through, his face showing a hint of reluctance.

Ling Feng was also somewhat unwilling to move on because from that video, he knew what was going to happen next—flammable material was ready to ignite!

But at the same time, he realized that these kinds of voyeuristic videos were really captivating!

He didn’t usually care for this, but after a glance, he found it hard to look away!

As Li Chen continued searching through the footage, Ling Feng couldn’t help but ask, "These strange-looking cameras, they’re even in this remote little town—has it become an industry?"

"Pretty much. Apparently, many hotels around the country have these things installed, so it’s better to be careful when you’re out and about!" Li Chen said, nodding.

Ling Feng was shocked, "What? These perverts are everywhere?"

"Not exactly, they usually record videos to sell them, offering voyeuristic pleasure to those who like to spy on others’ privacy!" Li Chen explained.

Ling Feng was speechless, thinking to himself that it meant there were quite a few people who enjoyed this sort of thing!

The thrill of these videos was partly in the joy of secretly watching others’ privacy, and the main part was the intimate acts between men and women, an aspect most men would want to watch, right?

Thinking this, he couldn’t resist glancing at Lin Xue.

To his surprise, Lin Xue also looked at him, her expression clearly a bit apprehensive.

If Ling Feng had not discovered the camera, the two of them might already have been recorded on the card and soon, an unknown number of people would be viewing them!

"This isn’t over, I will find that person!" Ling Feng clenched his fist.

This was the third time he stated this, showing the extent of his anger.

In the presence of the two women, Li Chen did not linger over the videos, skipping through them quickly, finally finding a clue on the fourth card!

As soon as the video started, a face flashed in front of the camera, then the person jumped back to the floor, looked up again at the camera direction, then turned and left.

Li Chen captured this person’s face and then sent it to his phone via computer.

Seemingly already accustomed to teamwork with Ye Qian, the two cooperated silently, and without a word, Ye Qian took the phone and left the room.

"That person was wearing a uniform, probably a hotel employee, we’ll know soon," Li Chen said.

Impatient, Ling Feng didn’t wait for the police, and directly went to find that person.

He found the dozing electrician in the duty room, touched a pressure point on the man, carried him back to the room.

He looked up to see four people staring at him with an unfriendly expression, the electrician startled, "What, what are you doing?"

"Did you install these devices? Tell me, are you doing this for money, or to eavesdrop on secrets?" Ling Feng brandished the pinhole camera in his hand, asking coldly.

The electrician turned pale upon seeing the device but still shook his head, "I don’t know what you’re talking about!"

"Still want to lie? Tell me, where are all the videos?"

Ling Feng snickered coldly, grabbing the electrician’s wrist, Divine Sense immediately invaded!

"I don’t understand what you’re saying..."

The electrician feigned calm, looking innocent as he spoke.

Ling Feng chuckled, looking back at Li Chen, "There’s a bag in his duty room’s closet containing a portable hard drive; all the videos are on there!"

"Oh, I’ll go get it now!"

Li Chen was momentarily stunned, thinking to himself how did he know since the man never spoke? But he didn’t have time to ask more and left with confusion.

Meanwhile, the electrician’s face turned deathly pale, also filled with amazement, asking, "How, how did you know?"

"You’re doing this to make money, right? Tell me, how much have you made?" Ling Feng pressed.

The electrician didn’t voice a number but subconsciously thought of one, and Ling Feng immediately widened his eyes, "Over a hundred thousand? You sure know how to make money!"

The electrician was stupefied, not understanding how he knew since he hadn’t said anything!
