The Greatest Village Doctor In The World

Chapter 871 Princess

Chapter 871 Princess

Ling Feng pocketed Sato’s phone without returning it, then turned and left the room.

As soon as he walked out the door, Feng Ling followed and asked, "Are you really going to let him go?"

"Of course not. After the fund transfer is complete, you can have your men deal with him!" Ling Feng said with a cold laugh.

"But you just made it seem so real!" Feng Ling said speechlessly.

Ling Feng chuckled, "I just wanted to see if he had any other tricks up his sleeve. Turns out he doesn’t, and this guy would give up his own daughter to save his skin. How is he any different from a beast?"

"You’re right. If I had a father like that, I would be very disappointed," Feng Ling nodded in agreement.

"Sato is just a minor leader. Even if he agrees not to hold a grudge against me, once he gets back to the Shadow Group and they learn of everything I’ve done, they won’t be able to swallow that affront. Revenge is inevitable!" Ling Feng said.

Upon hearing this, Feng Ling immediately asked, "So what’s your plan?"

"Do nothing and just wait!" Ling Feng said casually.

He indeed had the confidence and didn’t care about the Shadow Group’s retaliation. Everything he had said to Sato was just to set the mood.

The goal was naturally for the 8.5 billion in his hands!

Now, the money would soon be his, and his task would be complete.

The Shadow Group probably didn’t yet know who had taken out Sato and his men. Even if they found out one day, they would be welcome to come to Huaxia seeking revenge—if they weren’t afraid of dying, Ling Feng would ensure they’d never return!

Back in his room, just as he sat down, An Bo’s call came through.

"Mr. Ling, the Princess will receive you this morning. Are you available?"

"Of course, it would be an honor to meet the Princess, and I could postpone anything for that!" Ling Feng said.

"Good, a car will come soon to pick up you, Miss Fei’er, and Miss Feng Ling," An Bo said.

Ling Feng was surprised, "Feng Ling is going too?"

"Yes, the Princess also wishes to meet her," An Bo replied.

"Alright, I’ll have them get ready!"

Ling Feng said and hung up the phone. Then he told Feng Ling, "The Princess wants to see you, too!"

"Understood!"

Feng Ling nodded, "She probably knows I’m now in control of the Black Dragon Sect, and she wants to get acquainted, right?"

The Black Dragon Sect was one of the top forces in Mianluo Country but had never had any previous contact with the officials.

Now, it was an opportunity for both sides and Feng Ling, who had already changed the way the Black Dragon Sect operated, was also willing to completely legitimize its status.

Meeting a country’s Princess was of course a matter to be taken very seriously, so Feng Ling and Li Fei’er quickly went back to their room to change clothes.

As for Ling Feng, he didn’t give it much thought, wearing whatever he already had on.

Half an hour later, a stretch limousine from the Royal Palace arrived downstairs at the hotel, and Ling Feng went down with the two elegantly dressed women.

Once in the car, they were all a bit intrigued, as it was their first time in such a vehicle.

The spacious carriage had two sofas facing each other, ample enough for five or six people to sit, or even to drink and sing - it was virtually a mobile private bar room!

It was a shame they only rode for half an hour before the car reached a mansion in the suburbs.

Stepping out of the car, Ling Feng saw a vast estate built beside a river, with lush trees hiding the scenery inside. From the entrance, one could only glimpse a few pointed rooftops of the buildings inside.

Switching to an electric tour car, they traveled a few hundred more meters through the woods before arriving in front of a European-style castle.

The tuxedo-clad An Bo was already waiting for them. Upon seeing Ling Feng, he immediately bowed respectfully, "Welcome, all three of you."

"Mr. An, you’re too kind!" Ling Feng said with a smile as he exchanged greetings and then followed the welcoming party into the castle.

Shortly after, they arrived at a great hall where An Bo said to the three of them, "Please have a seat, the Princess will be here soon!"

"Alright."

Ling Feng casually sat down, but then noticed that both Feng Ling and Li Fei’er seemed to be on edge. He couldn’t help but whisper, "What’s the matter? It’s not like we’re meeting your parents. Is it that serious?"

The two women both gave him an eye roll in response.

After sitting for a few minutes, the sound of footsteps approached, and then a girl in her twenties, surrounded by a group of people, appeared.

Unlike what Ling Feng had envisioned, the girl was dressed in casual clothes and had her hair tied back in a simple ponytail, looking very refreshing and natural.

He had imagined she’d be wearing a puffy dress with a crown on her head, but seeing her dressed down, Ling Feng stood up with a smile and greeted, "Hello, Princess!"

"Hello, Mr. Ling, and hello to you two ladies. Please, sit down, don’t be so formal!" The girl had an easygoing demeanor, smiling as if she were the girl next door.

If it weren’t for the fact that she was flanked by a dozen or so people, Ling Feng really might have mistaken her for a college student.

After everyone had sat down, the girl introduced herself, "I haven’t given you my name yet—I’m Liya."

"Princess Liya, you’re so beautiful!" Li Fei’er was quick to flatter.

And she wasn’t exaggerating—Princess Liya was indeed very beautiful. Although she didn’t have the trendy ’melon seed’ face, her features conformed to the traditional Huaxia standard of beauty, with delicate and gentle lines, especially her tender gaze, full of poise.

Ling Feng thought to himself that this must be the royal temperament.

The difference in grace between daughters of nobility and commoners was quite easy to discern.

With a smile, Princess Liya looked at Li Fei’er and said, "Sister Fei’er, you are very beautiful too!"

After that, she turned to Feng Ling, "Miss Feng Ling, welcome to my home!"

"Thank you, Princess!" Feng Ling responded.

Princess Liya smiled faintly, then turned her attention to Ling Feng.

As Ling Feng knew it was his turn to speak, he quickly said, "Princess, I’ve brought back the Yuan gemstone for you. Where do you think is the best place for it?"

"There’s no rush. Since you three are my guests, you must have a proper look around first!" Then, excusing herself, she spoke to the people behind her, "You may leave for now, I’ll accompany the guests from here!"

"Yes!"

Everyone bowed and then departed from the hall.

After even An Bo had left, Liya said to Ling Feng and the others, "I’m sure you know that I have a great passion for gemstones."

"Yes, we’ve heard!" Ling Feng nodded.

"In that case, how about I show you my collection?" Liya asked with a smile.

The three had no objections. They had come this far; it was only polite to go along with their host.

So, they stood up and followed her out of the great hall, walking deeper into the castle. Ling Feng was wondering inwardly, "The top prize was a meeting with the Princess, but what’s so special about it to merit first place?"

He continued to walk, confused, but knowing it would be rude to ask, so he held his tongue.
