Ling Feng stared blankly and asked, "Can we really find a clue in there?"

"I heard about it a few days ago. It’s said that a very special stone was found in a western mining area. The stone’s crust was not sealed tightly, and a corner of a silver gemstone was revealed inside. The local mine owner immediately sent people to take the stone away," explained Gu Li.

"Then what happened?" Ling Feng asked.

"The owner initially wanted to cut the stone open, but he was stopped by Master Kong Kong, who hurried over after hearing the news. He claimed it was a Yuan force gemstone and that ordinary people shouldn’t touch it. They needed to wait for the destined person to claim it!" Gu Li continued.

Ling Feng was speechless. It turned out that a private detective’s work also included trading information?

Suddenly realizing that Gu Li was quite talented, he nodded and said, "In that case, I’ll buy your information!"

"No need, if it really is a Yuan force gemstone, then the value of this information will depreciate by tomorrow," Gu Li replied with a smile.

And Gu Li, somewhat flattered, chuckled along with him.

"He spends most of the year in the Golden Triangle area and only leaves for two months to return to the monastery."

"Is he still in the Golden Triangle now?" Ling Feng inquired.

Gu Li nodded, "Yes, Master Kong Kong is a devoted monk. He is committed to improving the lives of the people in the Golden Triangle, hoping to change their way of life and keep them away from drugs."

"Oh, so he’s a high monk with a heart for the whole world!" Ling Feng remarked.

"Uncle, are you thinking of going to find that master?" Li Fei’er asked.

Ling Feng nodded, "I would like to, but let’s wait until we get the Yuan Force Gemstone."

Upon hearing this, Gu Li immediately suggested, "If Mr. Ling is interested, I can tell you where that mine owner’s house is!"

"Are you suggesting I go there at night and get to the stone first?" Ling Feng asked.

"Hehe, wouldn’t that save you from competing with others tomorrow?" Gu Li chuckled.

Ling Feng nodded, "It’s a good idea, but I reckon the stone is no longer in his possession; we wouldn’t find it even if we went there."

"Even for safety reasons, it’s possible he’s not even at home!"

Gu Li was startled, then seemed to remember something and started fiddling with his phone.

Moments later, with a ding, a message came through. He looked at his phone and then lifted his head, "Indeed he’s not home. He took his family to Europe for a vacation three days ago!"

"You miss some information too, huh?" Ling Feng asked with a smile that was not quite a smile.

Gu Li looked sheepishly embarrassed and hurriedly explained, "I hadn’t thought it all through, and didn’t anticipate the Yuan Force Gemstone to be so popular!"

"There’s no need to talk further; knowing the name of the gemstone is a gain in itself. The rest we can deal with tomorrow!"

Ling Feng stood up and said to Feng Ling, "You and Fei’er go rest first. I’ll arrange a room for him and check on Zhang He’s situation in the meantime."
