Ling Feng had actually already scanned the entire area, his Divine Sense now covering a range of five hundred meters around him. The venue wasn’t very big, so it took just a little time to figure out the situation.
Amongst today’s raw stones, there were actually quite a few with jade, but the majority were common goods with mediocre water and color.
There were indeed some of higher quality, but even if they were cut and polished, at most they would fetch a few million to ten million in price, and Ling Feng was no longer interested in such levels.
As for the so-called special stones, he hadn’t spotted any either.
So, indeed, he had just been toying with those people, while also singling out some hidden folks, making it easier for Zhang He to remember their faces and be better prepared for when the time came.
Those people continued to follow Ling Feng at a distance for the next while, but he never made a move, merely strolling casually with Feng Ling until noon.

"Old brother, if I had discovered anything, I definitely would have signaled you. No need to worry!" Ling Feng said with a smile.
"Alright then, it looks like that stone will only appear tomorrow!" Li Huai said.
Ling Feng looked at him and suddenly remembered something, and so he asked, "By the way, Big Brother Li, could you help me with something?"
"Whatever it is, I’ll not refuse as long as I can do it!" Li Huai said.
Ling Feng smiled faintly, "It’s not a big deal. You know about Sun Shaofeng, right? He approached me as well, but instead of offering any benefits, he threatened me and my friends, forcing me to work for him. Don’t you think such a person deserves a beating?"
"He?"
Li Huai was stunned for a moment, then said, "The Sun family does have some influence in Capital City. That guy is just a spoiled scion. Brother, you don’t need to take him to heart!"
Ling Feng grimaced, "How can I not? I have no real foundation in the country; I can’t afford to offend such people!"
"So, brother, what do you mean?" Li Huai asked.
"I’m just curious why this kid has the same goal as you, Big Brother Li. Who’s behind him? Can you help me check it out?" Ling Feng asked.
Li Huai suddenly froze, his eyes shifting, "Hey, who cares who’s behind him. If that kid dares lay a hand on you or your family, just tell me, and I’ll take care of him!"
Ling Feng chuckled inwardly, You take care of it? You’re just a jeweler, how can you fight with a Sun family member?
These words were obviously just an appeasement; he didn’t want to help!
"Well, if that’s the case, then forget it. If Sun Shaofeng pushes me too hard, I’ll just pull out, end of story!"
Ling Feng sighed and started walking away with Feng Ling.
"Don’t!"
Li Huai instantly became anxious upon hearing this, hurriedly grabbing Ling Feng’s hand, "If you pull out, what about my business?"
"No way around it, worst case I just return your deposit, old brother!" Ling Feng said helplessly, shaking his head and continuing, "After all, the other party has money and power, and seems to have a very strong force behind them. I can’t afford to provoke them!"
Upon hearing this, Li Huai narrowed his eyes and said, "Sun Shaofeng wants to compete with me? He must be daydreaming!"
After saying this, he turned to look at Ling Feng, "Rest assured, I’ll take care of this. If he’s in cahoots with someone, I’ll make sure to find out for you!"
"Thank you, old brother!"
Ling Feng nodded, "Let me know what dirty dealings he’s been up to. Once I’m back in the country, I’ll definitely expose him to the media!"
"No problem, it’s easy to sully their reputation!" Li Huai chimed in.
"Alright then, Sun Shaofeng is watching us now. I won’t keep you, old brother. If there’s any news this afternoon, just message me!"
Ling Feng glanced at Sun Shaofeng’s people from afar and said lightly.
"Understood, wait for my message!"
Li Huai turned his head to look and glared at the man, saying huffily.
After leaving the stadium, Ling Feng and Feng Ling got into the car, and then Feng Ling laughed, "Why do I feel like that Li guy is so dumb? He actually got tricked by you in just a few words!"
"He wanted that stone too badly, and had to rely on me, so I led him by the nose. In fact, this old dude is craftier than anyone!" Ling Feng said with a cold laugh.
"No matter how crafty, he can’t outwit you though!" Feng Ling laughed.
Ling Feng chuckled with a self-satisfied expression, "This is called turning the tables. Let them investigate each other. The best outcome would be if they find evidence against Sun Shaofeng. If not, I won’t let him off the hook either!"
After checking the time, he said to Feng Ling, "Let’s head back."
"Huh? We’re not coming this afternoon?" Feng Ling asked with wide eyes.
"We’re not coming back, unless there are new stones delivered. Otherwise, there’s no point in staying here!" Ling Feng replied.
"Then it seems that tomorrow will be quite exciting, huh?"
Feng Ling said as she started the car.
Ling Feng nodded, "Not only will it be very exciting, I’m afraid it’s going to be quite bloody as well!"
As they talked, the two drove back to the hotel and went straight to Du Hao’s room.
Upon entering, they found only the father and daughter; Li Fei’er was not there.
So Ling Feng quickly asked, "Uncle, where is Fei’er?"
"She went back, said she was going to find someone and would return soon!" Du Hao replied.
Ling Feng uttered an "Oh," and then asked, "What about Gus and Telang, those two guys?"
"They were just sent back to our Shakya Tribe’s island. The Elders’ Council is going to put them on trial!" said Du Hao.
Ling Feng nodded, knowing that the fate of these two men was probably limited to a dead-end.
After a laugh, he sat down and said to Du Hao, "Uncle, we caught people from the Holy Light Society before, and found out that old Russians want me dead. So, in a few days when we go to the Black Sea for the transaction, there’s a good chance things will go south!"
"You mean I shouldn’t go?" Du Hao asked.
Ling Feng nodded, "Considering your safety, Uncle, I think it’s better for you not to go. I can handle it myself!"
"No, that won’t do. You’ve done a big favor for our Shakya Tribe, how could I ignore your affairs?"
Du Hao shook his head and then said, "With things so complicated, have you figured out why the Russians are targeting you?"
"Not yet. Unless we find the mastermind, it’s hard to know the answer," Ling Feng said with a wry smile.
Du Hao shook his head, "It’s not necessarily so. Aren’t there people from the Holy Light Society at the stone gambling conference as well? If we capture their leader, maybe we can get some answers!"
"That’s true!"
Ling Feng nodded, about to speak further when someone knocked on the room door.
Then, Li Fei’er entered the room, followed by Zhou Yi, Xun Qianqian, Joanna, and Miao Lanlan!
Upon seeing them, Ling Feng immediately stood up, "Why have you all come?"
"How could we not come? We all know about your situation. You nearly caught a bullet today?" Zhou Yi asked.
Ling Feng glanced at Li Fei’er, knowing it was her loose lips that had sent the information back!
So he glared at her and then chuckled, "It was a close call, but I didn’t actually get shot!"
But Zhou Yi said annoyed, "That’s not okay. Knowing you’re number one on the combat power rankings, they still dared to make a move. We must show them a thing or two!"
