The rooftop of the building was large, but not at all empty, filled with huge satellite dishes, water tanks, as well as elevator shafts and ventilation ducts.

Ling Feng looked around. The only way down to the lower floors was through that ventilation duct.

Ling Feng did not know which room the kid was in or whether he was asleep. To find him, he had to rely on luck.

He moved forward a few meters, and ahead there was a small louver. Peering through the slats, he saw that it was an empty room.

Seeing that the room was unoccupied, Ling Feng hesitated, considering whether to jump out from there when suddenly the door to the room flung open!

Then two people walked in, and Ling Feng froze!

He knew both of them; they were Telang and Gus!

After an unknown amount of time, a rustling noise came from beside him.

Opening his eyes, Ling Feng saw Li Fei’er looking at him with a half-smile. Without a word, he made room for her, and she immediately lay down beside him.
