"Since there’s no issue with your injuries, does that mean you are preparing to leave this place?" Ling Feng asked.
Yu Linglong’s eyes flickered again as she rapidly pondered his intention, remaining silent for a moment before nodding, "That’s right, I do indeed want to leave now!"
"Do you think just with the Compendium of Array Formations and the Mind Soul Art, I would let you leave?" Ling Feng asked.
Yu Linglong looked at him, "I gave you those two things merely as a token of gratitude for saving me, nothing more."
After finishing her sentence, she suddenly smiled, "If I want to leave, I don’t need your permission at all!"

But as soon as he entered, he saw Li Fei’er standing by the reception, seemingly waiting to receive the delivery.
Upon seeing Ling Feng, she immediately ran over, "Uncle, where did you go last night, and why are you only coming back now?"
Ling Feng looked at her, "You don’t know?"
"Huh? Know what?"
Li Fei’er was somewhat puzzled and asked softly.
Ling Feng smiled, "It’s nothing much, I got kidnapped and taken to the mountains last night, that’s why I was held up for a while."
"What!"
Li Fei’er’s voice became shrill, shooting up several octaves, "Who has the audacity?"
Her shouting drew the attention of both the delivery men and the receptionists. Li Fei’er quickly covered her mouth and asked quietly, "Who did it? Did you take care of them, Uncle?"
"Sort of, the captors are locked in a hotel now. Go and bring them back for me later!" Ling Feng said with a smile.
"Me?"
Li Fei’er blinked in confusion, her face filled with questions, "Why me?"
"Just happened to run into you!"
Ling Feng ruffled her hair and turned to the reception, "All these breakfasts have been paid for, right?"
"Yes, President Ling, they’ve been paid for." The receptionist nodded in acknowledgment.
"That’s settled then, leave it to me, I’ll take it upstairs."
After Ling Feng spoke, he effortlessly picked up five large bags of food by himself.
A few delivery guys were stunned, struggling to carry even one portion each, and yet this guy could carry five at the same time?
Such great strength!
As Ling Feng headed toward the elevator, Li Fei’er hurried to catch up, curiously asking, "Uncle, why would the people who kidnapped you dump you in a hotel?"
"You want to know?"
Ling Feng glanced at her, asking with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.
He had already figured out that this girl was clueless about what Li Yun’er had done; otherwise, her expression wouldn’t be as it was now.
At most, she knew that Li Yun’er had arrived but had no idea what that girl had done to him.
Sure enough, Li Fei’er nodded eagerly, "I’m curious!"
"Because the person who kidnapped me is Li Yun’er, your cousin!" Ling Feng revealed.

Li Fei’er’s face stiffened, then her eyes widened in realization, "No wonder, no wonder!"
After saying this, she turned and dashed away, heading straight for the exit of the building.
Seeing this, Ling Feng called out, "Hey, where are you going? I haven’t told you which hotel she’s in yet!"
"I know!"
As Li Fei’er ran outside, she called back, "Just gotta tell my sisters, I’ll come back later!"
"Be careful, watch for cars!"
Watching Li Fei’er approach the entrance of the building, Ling Feng shouted a reminder from behind.
Li Fei’er just waved her hand in response and then rushed out.
Just then, the elevator arrived, and Ling Feng, shaking his head in resignation, stepped inside.
After going upstairs, when Li Shiyun and the others saw Ling Feng arrive alone without Li Fei’er, they immediately asked where she had gone.
Ling Feng explained what had happened the night before, and after some shared looks, they couldn’t help but burst into laughter!
"I got kidnapped, and you all can still laugh?" Ling Feng said with a look of disbelief.
"How can we not laugh? You actually had such a day?" Zhou Yi asked.
Lin Xue even made a face at him, "Who would have thought you’d get kidnapped? If word got out, it’d be so embarrassing!"
"I was drunk, alright? And the other party had no intention of hurting me. I couldn’t be bothered to fight back; I just wanted to see who had the guts to kidnap me!" Ling Feng argued.
Unfortunately, the ladies dismissed his explanation and instead grabbed the packaged breakfast, moving it to the table to start unwrapping.
Ling Feng stood there with a look of frustration, wanting to continue his explanation, but alas, no one was interested in hearing him out anymore.
That’s when Li Shiyun looked up at him and said, "Come on, eat something quickly, then you should leave!"
"Huh? Why?"
Ling Feng was stunned, sensing that he was being rushed out.
Li Shiyun glanced at him, "Because we’re going to get changed and do our makeup soon to prepare for the noon ceremony!"
"And why can’t I be here?" Ling Feng was still puzzled.
Chen Yuhe glared at him, "You’re so clueless! It’s because we don’t want you to see us changing!"
