Chapter 759: Deep in the Jungle

Ling Feng was sleeping soundly when suddenly his face was slapped, and then a cold liquid was poured over his face, which woke him up.

Opening his eyes, he saw that the guy in the peaked cap was pouring mineral water on him, so Ling Feng shook his head, "What’s up?"

"What’s up? You were almost sleeping your way to death, we’re kidnapping you, for heaven’s sake, big brother!"

The peaked cap said and grabbed Ling Feng’s collar, trying to lift him up.

Unfortunately, he was too weak, and Ling Feng purposefully didn’t want to let him succeed. The result was the peaked cap overexerted himself and stumbled forward!

Ling Feng’s eyes flashed with disgust, and he quickly turned around, managing to avoid that guy.

The peaked cap face-planted into the ground, and the people around him felt too embarrassed to laugh out loud. They all held it in or turned their heads away.

"Dammit, what a hassle, pick him up for me and let’s go!"

The peaked cap dusted the dirt off himself, looking annoyed.

Ling Feng found his hands and feet tied with a rope, and he easily broke free with a bit of effort, then stood up on his own, "No need, where are we going?"

The group of people were dumbfounded and paused for a moment, then looked at each other.

"Er Dan, what the hell kind of tying was that, did you forget to knot it?" the peaked cap scolded and slapped the person beside him!

"No, I tied it tight!"

Er Dan felt unjustly accused and squatted down to pick up the rope, and then, with a shocked face, said, "Look, Gao, this, this has been snapped!"

"Bullshit, the hemp rope is so thick, how could it possibly..."

Gao, the man in the peaked cap, didn’t believe it until he looked at the broken end of the rope and was instantly baffled.

Looking up in astonishment, he looked at Ling Feng, "You, you actually snapped it?"

"It’s not that sturdy."

Ling Feng smiled and, turning his head, realized they were in a dense forest, and said impatiently, "Where are you taking me? Come on, don’t waste time!"

The crowd: "..."

"Kid, don’t be cocky. In Gao’s hands, you won’t die today, but you’ll be skinned, so you better be sensible!" a guy who was limping came to Ling Feng and said loudly.

Ling Feng shrugged his shoulders, "I’m not being arrogant. Aren’t I cooperating by letting you take me?"

"You can go, but we need to tie you up, otherwise our boss won’t be at ease!" the limping man said.

"I was asleep just now, and you managed to tie me up by accident, but now you want to do it again? Not a chance. We either go like this, or forget it!"

Ling Feng rolled his eyes and turned to walk in the opposite direction!

"Hey, you’re really defiant!"

The limping man quickly stepped forward and grabbed Ling Feng’s sleeve!

But without seeing how Ling Feng moved, the guy suddenly felt light, and then was flung four or five meters into the air, landing heavily on the ground with a thud!

"What happened?"

Gao was startled and asked loudly.

The people looked at each other, thinking how would we know what happened?

All they saw was the limping guy flying up without seeing how he flew!

"Hey, I said you guys are really long-winded, are we going or not? If not, I’m really going home!" Ling Feng asked.

To be so defiant while being kidnapped, Gao and his people were also impressed. It was their first time encountering such a person!

So Gao looked at him, "Fine, we won’t tie you up, but you have to behave and come with us!"

Ling Feng nodded, "Alright, let’s go! You lead the way!"

"..."

All the guys were speechless. Was this a kidnapping or were they treating someone to a guest visit?

Helping up the limping guy who had fallen and was grimacing in pain, the group didn’t dare to get close to Ling Feng. They just kept a distance of two meters from him, forming a circle around him.

Following behind the leader they called Brother Gao, everyone headed deeper into the woods.

They hadn’t walked far when several lights suddenly appeared in the bushes ahead. As they got closer, Ling Feng realized it was a house nestled in the forest.

"What is this place?"

There were no roads in the forest, just winding paths leading there. It didn’t seem to be a villa either.

If there was a house built in the middle of the mountains, why wasn’t there a road?

Walking forward with these questions in mind, Ling Feng understood once he got a clear view of the house.

It certainly wasn’t any sort of villa, but three thatched huts, seemingly erected temporarily, looking like the dwellings of forest watchers.

The group made quite a bit of noise as they walked, and hearing people approach, a crisp voice came from inside the house, "Have the people been brought here?"

It was a girl’s voice, young, sounding about the same age as Li Fei’er, maybe sixteen or seventeen years old.

Ling Feng thought to himself how odd it was. Could this possibly be another lady boss?

Brother Gao stood at the door and said cheerfully, "We’ve brought him here!"

"Good!"

Following that voice, the door opened, and a girl in a tight outfit walked out.

Her face still looked somewhat youthful, but the girl’s height was very impressive, almost the same as Chen Yuhe.

And considering her figure, well-developed with curves in all the right places, her attire made her quite eye-catching.

But Ling Feng had never seen this girl before, and thus had no idea who she was or why she had him kidnapped!

Their eyes met, and the girl noticed that Ling Feng’s hands and feet were free, not tied up, so she immediately frowned, "What’s going on, didn’t I tell you guys to tie him up properly?"

Brother Gao made a pained expression, "Well, this guy’s too strong, we couldn’t restrain him with rope."

The girl’s eyes went wide in disbelief when she saw how calm and unflustered Ling Feng was. She couldn’t help but ask in astonishment, "Then how did you bring him here?"

"He, he came with us willingly..."

Brother Gao also found it absurd and admitted awkwardly.

Knowing it was his turn to speak, Ling Feng chuckled and asked, "Young lady, we don’t seem to know each other, right? You sent people to grab me. What for?"

"Hmph, now that you’re in my hands, you still dare to be so casual. Aren’t you afraid?" the girl asked coldly.

The more serious she was, the more Ling Feng wanted to laugh. Who exactly was this girl, not knowing the danger she was in?

So he chuckled and responded, "Afraid? A little bit. After all, it’s a remote mountain, and who knows if there are any lonely ghosts or wild animals like wolves, snakes, tigers, or leopards."

Seeing the girl shiver, Ling Feng continued, "But no worries, there are so many of you here. Even if something scary shows up, it definitely won’t bite me first!"

"You!"

The girl realized he was trying to scare her and she stomped her foot, "You still have the audacity to spout nonsense. If this guy is so strong, get me some rope -- tie him into a rice dumpling. I want to see how he’ll break free then!"

After that, however, Brother Gao and the others didn’t move an inch.

"Why aren’t you moving?" the girl asked with a frown.

Brother Gao wore a gloomy look, "Miss, this man is tricky. Just now, when Er Dan tried to catch him, he was sent flying into the air, nearly to his death. We dare not touch him!"
