Seeing Ling Feng making faces, Zhou Yi couldn’t help but ask, "What kind of conspiracy are you plotting?"

"Of course not, it’s just a little secret that I can’t let you know about for now!" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"Pfft, am I supposed to be interested?"

Zhou Yi rolled his eyes.

Seeing Ling Yao getting up to leave, Ling Feng quickly followed her. After a few steps, he remembered something and turned back to Huaihua, "Don’t go yet, I have something to tell you later!"

"Oh, I’m not leaving tonight, I’ll go back tomorrow," Huaihua said with a smile.

"That’s great!"

Once outside, Ling Yao looked back at him, "Go ahead, what do you want to talk to me about?"

Ling Feng chuckled and then elaborated on his arrangements and plans for the evening.

After listening, Ling Yao nodded, "At least you have some conscience. These days everyone’s been keeping things to themselves, though I could tell something was up."

"Thanks for the reminder, sis. It wasn’t until An Xue mentioned it this morning that I realized I’ve indeed been neglecting everyone," Ling Feng said with an embarrassed laugh.

Ling Yao gave him a look, "The girls don’t care about sleeping with you or not; what they need is companionship. Do you understand?"

"I didn’t quite get it before, but now I do," Ling Feng nodded.

"Good that you understand. You’re also unlucky, having so many people around you, you’ll be busy enough!" Ling Yao said with a mischievous smile.

Ling Feng could only give a wry smile, not knowing what else to say.

"Alright, you go ahead and do what you need to do. I’ll make sure to take care of what you’ve asked me to tonight!"

Ling Yao glared at him before turning around and returning to the Second Layer Heaven.

Ling Feng teleported back home and pondered for a moment. Nearly all the women around him were there, but Zhang Lan had been traveling back and forth to the provincial city and might not be back tonight, so he hurriedly gave her a call.

And sure enough, Zhang Lan had planned to meet with a client that evening.

Ling Feng sighed and then asked, "Are you coming to the Nine Heavens tonight?"

"Why do you ask?" Lin Xue asked warily.

Ling Feng chuckled, "No reason, just asking!"

"Really? Well, I was planning to go, but since you’re being so mysterious, I’m not going tonight!" Lin Xue declared.

Ling Feng: "..."

With no alternative, he had to be honest, "You should come back. I’ve prepared a surprise for you; you’ll find out tonight!"

"Is it just for me?" Lin Xue said, suspicious.

Ling Feng: "Uh, not exactly. It’s for everyone, and I hope every person can be there. It’s only perfect that way, right?"

"What on earth are you up to?"

After all, she was a police officer. Upon hearing Ling Feng’s words, Lin Xue wanted to know the answer right away.

"Why ask so many questions? Just do what the boss tells you to do!"

Yu Nan, who was quicker on the uptake, elbowed Sun Hao and then opened the van’s cargo doors.

Together with Ling Feng, the four of them started unloading and carrying goods, as well as setting things up for later.
