The Greatest Village Doctor In The World

Chapter 612: The Furious Sun Hao

Chapter 612: The Furious Sun Hao

The police listened and took notes. When the young man finished speaking, one of them looked up at Ling Feng, "Is he talking about you? What’s your name?"

"I am Ling Feng!"

"Huh? Didn’t you say your name was Zhang Dali?" The young man asked in astonishment.

Ling Feng gave him a disdainful look, thinking to himself, why are you as brainless as that girl?

He didn’t say that out loud, though. Instead, he just smiled and said, "I was fooling that girl!"

"Ling Feng, it’s your turn to speak. What happened?" the police officer said.

Ling Feng nodded and described what he had witnessed in detail.

After listening, the older police officer asked, "Are you sure you saw that girl attempting to commit the crime?"

"Yes, I even grabbed the weapon from her. It’s this!"

As Ling Feng spoke, he flipped his palm, and the dagger appeared in his hand out of nowhere.

Everyone was startled, except for Lin Huaqiang, no one knew he had taken it out of the Space Ring!

The others thought Ling Feng was performing magic!

The young man looked on with scorn, "In this situation, you still have the mood to show off your magic tricks?"

Ling Feng ignored him and handed the dagger over to the police officer, "This could be considered evidence, but unfortunately, since I touched it, it might not have fingerprints anymore."

The older police officer nodded, passing the dagger to his colleague, then turned to Sun Jiayi, "How is this young lady?"

"She drank too much, and her consciousness hasn’t cleared yet!" Ling Feng answered.

"If that’s the case, we’ll make a record first, and later we’ll notify the victim’s family if we decide to open an investigation. By the way, which of you is her relative?" the police asked.

This time, Lin Huaqiang spoke up, "None of us here are; her family is on the way over now!"

No sooner had he finished than an anxious voice came from downstairs, followed by Sun Hao, weighing three hundred pounds, hurrying upstairs with an anxious expression.

When he got close and saw his sister sitting next to Ling Feng, he immediately became alarmed!

His hefty palm went straight for Ling Feng’s face with a powerful wind behind it. An ordinary person hit by such a slap would certainly break bones!

Before Ling Feng could react, Lin Huaqiang stretched out a hand and knocked Sun Hao’s hand away!

"Uncle Lin!"

Sun Hao paused, then shouted loudly, "Did this guy bully my sister?"

"You really need to curb that impulsive temper of yours. What you said is the opposite of the truth; it was Ling Feng who saved your sister!" Lin Huaqiang said helplessly.

"..."

Sun Hao was stunned for a moment, then turned to look at Ling Feng, disbelief written all over his face!

Ling Feng glanced at him, "What? Don’t I look like a good person?"

"You..."

Sun Hao was in the throes of anger and now that he heard it was a misunderstanding, he was slow to catch on!

"Enough, this is not the time for endless disputes. The police are here. Hurry up and discuss what to do!" Lin Huaqiang said, waiving his hand impatiently.

"You’re the girl’s relative, right?" the older police officer asked.

Sun Hao nodded, "Yes, I am. No need for further talk; we can handle this matter ourselves!"

"What do you mean? You’re not pressing charges?" the police officer asked.

"That’s right, this matter doesn’t require the police. We’ll handle it ourselves!" Sun Hao nodded firmly.

The two police officers were surprised, and the younger one couldn’t help but remind him, "Think it over, this could involve a murder. If you don’t let the police open a case, you won’t be able to find the perpetrator!"

Sun Hao glanced at him, "You don’t recognize me?"

The policeman was taken aback, "No, I don’t!"

"My surname is Sun, Sun Hao. Do you know now?"

"It’s you..."

That young policeman had obviously heard of Sun Hao’s reputation; upon hearing, he was immediately stunned.

"Yes, it’s me. This is a matter concerning our own Sun Family, so there’s no need for the police to be involved. Thank you!" Sun Hao said indifferently.

After calming down, the chubby man became much more composed, his face now expressionless.

The two policemen looked at each other and then nodded, "Since you insist, we won’t get involved any further."

Having said that, the two of them turned and headed for the stairwell.

Once they had left, Sun Hao’s gaze turned icy. He looked around and saw that those young men were all lowering their heads, and there was this simple-looking guy staring at himself, so he asked, "Who are you?"

"I’m the one who called the police just now."

"Oh!"

Sun Hao nodded and reached into his clothing pocket; his bodyguard, quick-witted, immediately handed over a black leather wallet.

Taking it into his hands, Sun Hao unzipped it and pulled out a large wad of bright red banknotes, handing them directly to the young man, "This is for your trouble, thank you!"

The wad of cash was about twenty to thirty thousand. Caught off guard, the young man hugged it to his chest, puzzled, "For me?"

"Yes, thank you for helping to call the police. There’s nothing for you here now, you can go!" Sun Hao said flatly.

Still in a daze, the young man caught Ling Feng’s stern glance, "Hurry up and go. Consider it compensation for the kick you suffered!"

It was like a windfall from heaven. Once the young man snapped out of it, he quickly nodded and clutched the cash pressed against his chest as he went downstairs.

Sun Hao looked at the remaining men and women, "And who are you guys?"

"We... are Jiayi’s friends, we were drinking with her today..."

Nobody dared to look up. Clearly, they all knew of Sun Hao’s reputation, and now they were not only tense, but the more timid among them had legs that were trembling slightly!

"If that’s the case, I’m afraid I’ll have to trouble you to accompany me to the Sun Family," Sun Hao said with narrowed eyes.

Hearing this, one of them shivered with fear and looked up to say, "I have nothing to do with this! I just came to drink; I don’t know anything!"

"That’s not for you to say. Let’s talk after I find out what happened," Sun Hao replied with a cold huff and then, with a wave of his hand, the dozen or so bodyguards stormed forward like hungry tigers and took the young people away.

Turning to Ling Feng, Sun Hao said, "Move aside!"

Knowing that he wanted to take Sun Jiayi with him, Ling Feng didn’t say anything and stepped aside to make room.

Despite appearances, Sun Hao was quite strong; he stepped forward, picked up his sister, and turned to leave without a word.

As he did so, Ling Feng began to feel unhappy and asked coldly, "Hey, not even a word of thanks?"

"Once I clear things up, if I owe you thanks, I will certainly come to your door to express my gratitude," Sun Hao looked back at him.

After saying that, he carried Sun Jiayi and headed downstairs without looking back.

Seeing Ling Feng’s speechless face, Lin Huaqiang chuckled and tried to smooth things over, "That kid has a rotten temper, don’t take it to heart. He really is just worried sick, and frankly, he dotes on Sun Jiayi a lot."

"I’m not upset, I just find this whole situation strange. Who would want to harm his sister? Those people drinking with her, could there be some trickery involved? It all feels so odd," Ling Feng said.

"An abnormal situation signals a monster lurking behind; no need to worry. With the Sun Family’s capabilities, they might find out what happened tonight. I’ll let you know then!" Lin Huaqiang said with a smile.

Ling Feng nodded and then asked, "Uncle Lin, haven’t our dishes arrived yet? I’m getting hungry!"
