Chapter 557: Swatting Flies

Having dealt with this group of men, Ling Feng returned to the first burly man, crouched down, and asked, "Young master, what is your name?"

"I, I’m Ah Qiang."

The burly man was already terrified. Ling Feng’s actions were too ferocious; he always inflicted injuries when he struck, and all of his companions suffered broken bones and serious injuries!

"Now tell me, what are you here for, and why are you doing this to the villagers?" Ling Feng asked with a cold smile.

Before Ah Qiang could answer, a group of people appeared from the fields at the other end of the village, hurrying towards them.

Seeing those people, Ah Qiang suddenly regained his spirits and shouted loudly, "Boss, come quick! This guy is beating us up!"

Ling Feng glanced over and, too lazy to ask Ah Qiang anymore, stood up with his stick in hand, silently waiting for the newcomers.

The villagers gathered together, standing not far off and watching. They all knew of Ling Feng’s prowess and thought to themselves that with him here, there would certainly be a way to deal with these people!

The other side consisted of more than a dozen people, with Wang Wan’er among them. Clearly, she was being held captive as two brawny men had grabbed her arms and were dragging her over.

Seeing this scene, a surge of murderous intent welled up in Ling Feng’s heart, and he wished he could kill those two right there and then!

However, he still held back and wanted to see just where these people got the courage to act so unscrupulously!

The one leading the opposing group was a bald man with a face full of horizontal scars. He came over, glanced at his men on the ground, sneered, and then lifted his head, "Are you Ling Feng?"

"You know me?"

Ling Feng was taken aback and asked.

"Of course I know. Who doesn’t recognize the great name of Ling Feng within these ten miles?" the bald man said with a smile.

Yet his eyes were full of disdain, making Ling Feng curious, "Know that and still provoke me, it means you must have quite a backup plan?"

"No, no, not at all. There’s no backup plan. It’s just that someone told me to make some trouble for you these days, to keep you from living too comfortably!" the bald man said with a cold laugh.

Ling Feng: "..."

Playing the fool, huh?

Not coming for me directly, but causing trouble in Shahe Village – that’s really damn shameless!

So with a cold laugh, Ling Feng said to him, "It seems you don’t know me well enough!"

"Is that so?"

The bald man’s carefree laugh rang out, "What else is there about you I don’t understand?"

"You think pestering me like a fly will annoy me?"

Ling Feng smiled and, holding his baseball bat, walked towards him, "Isn’t the best way to deal with a fly to smack it dead?"

"Hey, you’re scaring me to death. Are you threatening to kill me? Come on then, I’m right here. Hit my head with that stick of yours. Put some muscle into it, a few hits should do the job!"

The bald man lowered his head, pushing it close to Ling Feng, and said loudly.

"As you wish then!"

Ling Feng smiled slightly, raising the baseball bat in his hand high!

"Ling Feng, no, stop!"

Wang Wan’er, frightened out of her wits, struggled free from the hands of the two men beside her and ran in front of Ling Feng, hugging him tightly!

"Silly girl, don’t be afraid. He asked for it himself, why shouldn’t I oblige?" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"But if you kill someone, what will happen afterward?" Wang Wan’er asked anxiously, her eyes turning red.

"Don’t worry, nothing will happen!" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"You two stop putting on a show here. If you dare, just do it, what’s with all the fuss?"

The bald man rolled his eyes and pointed to the top of his head, "I’m waiting here, come on, do me in!"

"You’re not trying to scam me out of money pretending to have a terminal illness, are you?"

Ling Feng chuckled lightly, not only did he not make a move, but he also threw away the baseball bat in his hand, and then patted Wang Wan’er’s head, "Let go of me first, let me teach him a lesson."

Wang Wan’er’s heart was uneasy, but she still let go, because she suddenly realized that she had thought too much, Ling Feng was not a reckless person at all, how could he casually kill someone?

Just as he finished, the pain in his legs decreased, and he felt a tingling sensation. He was momentarily baffled.

Touching his legs, he felt as if the broken parts were healing, and he was utterly bewildered!

"Don’t be bemused; I indeed healed your legs with medicine."

Ling Feng chuckled, "In a few minutes, your injuries will heal, but don’t get any ideas. Once they’re healed, I’ll break them again to let you taste the feeling of having your legs broken over and over!"

"You!"

The bald man finally realized what was happening, his eyes showing astonishment, feeling like Ling Feng wasn’t joking!

"Time is almost up, it doesn’t hurt anymore, does it?"

Ling Feng snickered, and his leg shot out like lightning!

"Aaah!"

The cry of agony echoed once more, startling the surrounding villagers, who looked at Ling Feng with a changed gaze!
