The Greatest Village Doctor In The World

Chapter 1655 - 1654: Full Confession

Chapter 1655 - 1654: Full Confession

Ling Feng looked at the orb and said to Tian Lian: "Since it can emit evil energy, you hold onto it for now, and we’ll study it when we have the chance!"

"Sure, thank you, Master!"

Tian Lian originally wanted to keep it, but since the master hadn’t spoken, she naturally couldn’t ask for it.

Now that she heard Ling Feng allowing her to keep it, she was naturally very happy.

After putting it away, she took Little Hei back into the Jade Pendant.

Ling Feng glanced at the young man lying on the ground, reached out to lift him up, and continued walking out of the mountain.

About ten minutes later, he had already returned to the surface of Dawang Township.

Carrying a living person naturally caught the attention of the villagers, so many came out of their homes and followed.

Upon seeing the young man’s appearance clearly, people began to whisper: "Isn’t that the Li Family’s boy?"

"Why is it him, when did he come back?"

Hearing this, Ling Feng stopped and looked at the people in the distance, then asked loudly: "Who recognizes this person?"

The same old man as before pushed through the crowd and came forward: "Mr. Ling, I recognize him!"

"What’s the story with this person?" Ling Feng asked.

"His name is Li Qiang, the son of Li Wansheng from our village. He was always sneaky and up to no good as a child, and later he worked outside for a few years." The old man said.

Ling Feng made a sound of acknowledgment, then asked: "This kid hasn’t been in the village before?"

"Li Wansheng took ill and died last year, and after Li Qiang took care of the funeral, he never came back, not even for the New Year!" the old man said.

Ling Feng nodded and looked at the others in the distance: "None of you have seen this person before?"

"I saw him once. Before the New Year, he went to Li Wansheng’s grave to pay respects, then went into the northern mountains claiming he was looking for something." someone said.

"Alright, thank you all for the information!"

Ling Feng smiled and prepared to take Li Qiang to the police station.

The old man then asked: "Mr. Ling, you arrested him, does it mean this guy is related to the village’s case?"

"It’s not clear yet, he’s just a suspect!" Ling Feng replied.

"Then it’s more or less certain!" the old man said.

Upon hearing this, Ling Feng stopped again and asked: "Why do you say that?"

"He, well, he liked the girl from the Chen family, but her parents and the girl didn’t like him. He made a scene a few times and was driven away, probably bore a grudge!" the old man said.

Upon hearing that, Ling Feng understood. Unrequited love turning into resentment, it seemed to happen often, it was nothing new.

So, he nodded to the old man, thanked him, and promptly headed to the police station with Li Qiang.

The villagers followed all the way to the outside of the police station before stopping.

Such a serious case had never happened in the village, and everyone understandably wanted to know the results soon.

Once inside, Ling Feng threw Li Qiang on the ground and saw Chen Fei walking over, so he asked: "How is it, did Little Sun remember having any enemies?"

"He mentioned someone named Li Qiang, they had a fight before the New Year, but Little Sun couldn’t beat him and got pretty badly beaten instead, that’s about it!" Chen Fei said.

Ling Feng heard this and laughed, looking at Li Qiang on the ground: "So this is the kid!"

He then left out the part about the Hanba, only explaining to Chen Fei how he caught this person in the mountains.

After hearing it, Chen Fei’s eyes widened: "This guy turned out to be a superpower user?"

Ling Feng nodded: "Yes, and his ability is quite peculiar; he can change appearance, imitate Little Sun’s look, even surpassing my Art of Disguise!"

"Let’s interrogate him first, without a confession, our suspicions are useless!" Chen Fei said.

"Alright!"

Ling Feng nodded, unsealed Li Qiang’s acupoint, woke him up, and immediately took him to the interrogation room.

Once the boy regained his senses, he was already handcuffed.

Seeing the environment of the interrogation room, Li Qiang’s face instantly turned pale, feeling guilty.

"This is the first interrogation; you’d better honestly explain everything. Otherwise, I’ll take you to the Security Bureau for a second interrogation, and it won’t be as easy as it is now!" Ling Feng said to him.

"..."

Li Qiang’s eyes darted around, looking at him, then at Chen Fei and the nearby officers.

Though he was a superpower user, he had little mental strength and was inexperienced in such situations. Especially being pressured by everyone’s gazes, his mental defenses were practically non-existent!

So, after a moment of silence, the mentally broken Li Qiang lowered his head and said: "I’ll talk, I’ll tell you everything!"

Ling Feng and Chen Fei exchanged glances and both let out a sigh of relief.

As long as he’s willing to talk, it’s manageable!

Once he confessed, the case would be considered solved!

So next, Chen Fei led the interrogation while other officers took notes, starting the investigation into Li Qiang.

He was cooperative, answering every question, laying out the entire course of events.

The matter was not complex, essentially a tragedy born from love turning to hate.

Li Qiang liked the girl from the Chen family, but she had no interest in him. Over time his emotions turned into animosity, and he wanted to retaliate.

Subsequently, due to conflicts with Little Sun, Li Qiang used his special ability to concoct a malicious plan to use others to do the dirty work.

Unexpectedly, his supposedly well-thought-out scheme fell apart due to Ling Feng’s intervention, implicating himself.

After finishing the case inquiry, Chen Fei then asked: "Li Qiang, what’s the deal with your special ability, where did it come from?"

"I met a mysterious master in the mountains; he’s the one who taught me!" Li Qiang said.

"A master? What’s his name? Where in the mountains?" Chen Fei asked further.

"I don’t know either; he never told me his name. He only appeared when I was in the mountains, taught me some spells and such." Li Qiang said.

Chen Fei wanted to ask more, but Ling Feng interjected: "Your master, he wouldn’t happen to be a guy all red, short, emaciated, barely human-like, would he?"

Li Qiang was taken aback, then widened his eyes: "How do you know?"

"I encountered him and conveniently disposed of him."

Ling Feng smirked: "You’re lucky to think of that, learning from a Hanba. It’s fortunate I discovered it early; otherwise, you’d have ended up a corpse yourself!"

"Ah?"

Not just Li Qiang, but Chen Fei and all the officers were bewildered, stunned.

Ling Feng looked at them, chuckled, and said: "Don’t worry, I’ve had little ones take care of it, annihilated completely!"

"...."

Everyone was still a bit shocked, a Hanba, yet he made it sound so trivial, like squashing an ant, too nonchalant!

"In that case, this matter is beyond our jurisdiction; we should hand it over to the local Security Bureau instead!" Chen Fei said.
