After pondering for a long time, Ling Feng still couldn’t figure out where the crux of the problem lay.

Seeing his brows furrowed tightly, Zhou Yi said, "Let me ask the headquarters for you, maybe they know something about what’s happening in America."

Ling Feng nodded and said.

Zhou Yi rolled her eyes at him, expressing dissatisfaction with such polite phrasing, and then took out her phone.

"So, does that mean Catherine is very busy now?" Ling Feng asked.

"Why don’t you let Gu Li think of a way, maybe he can find out who this Peter is." Zhou Yi said.

The man in the suit was very courteous, making a "please" gesture, then turning to walk towards the elevator.

Hua Guoqiang squeezed out a smile and stood up.

Ling Feng nodded: "Yes, I wonder what Mr. Hua wants to discuss with me so late?"

"Please have a seat, Mr. Ling."

Hua Guoqiang sighed, and after Ling Feng sat down, he began to speak: "About my niece’s matter, the whole situation is mostly clear now. This has nothing to do with you, Mr. Ling. I must apologize to you."

Ling Feng was somewhat surprised upon hearing this, then smiled: "It’s alright, I can understand your emotions given what happened."

"She’s my brother’s daughter. Over ten years ago, my brother and sister-in-law died in an accident, leaving this girl behind. I’ve been raising her as my own daughter ever since."

Hua Guoqiang sighed and shook his head: "Who knew she’d run into trouble too now, really..."

Then he looked at Hua Guoqiang: "By the way, since I ran into you today, Mr. Hua, there’s something I’d like to ask."

"Please, Mr. Ling," Hua Guoqiang nodded.
