Ling Feng quickly teleported to the Tang Family Village and met Tang Xiaoqian at the winery.

Seeing the busy production scene and her wearing a hard hat and work uniform, Ling Feng hurriedly went forward, grabbed her, and went straight to the office.

"Sis, everything’s running smoothly now. You don’t have to keep overseeing things on-site!"

Sitting down, Ling Feng said.

"There’s nothing much to do in the office, so I just like to wander around a bit!"

Tang Xiaoqian smiled and continued, "Our apple wine sales are doing well. We are about to expand into the local market!"

Ling Feng nodded: "Our current supply of apples is still not enough, so let’s not rush to expand. Just supply at the current production volume."

"I was just about to mention that. Some people came yesterday, saying they could supply us with apples and then place orders for us to increase production!" Tang Xiaoqian said.

"Do they have the apple variety we need?"

Ling Feng was taken aback and immediately asked.

"Yes, they brought some samples over. I tasted one, and it seemed the same." Tang Xiaoqian said.

Ling Feng pondered for a moment and quickly asked, "Where are they from?"

"From the provincial capital, claiming to be Yongsheng Trade and Commerce. They mainly want to exclusively distribute our apple wine." Tang Xiaoqian said.

"Forget about the distribution. That’s Ling Corporation’s job; it’s not up for grabs."

Ling Feng laughed and then said, "As for the orders, it’s something we must consider carefully. Don’t blindly agree!"

"Yes, I originally wanted Jiaolan to help out, but considering she’s busy, I thought I’d just ask you." Tang Xiaoqian said.

Ling Feng nodded: "The business world is like a battlefield. No matter how great the benefits others offer, you have to consider carefully before signing anything; otherwise, there are too many pitfalls."

Saying this, he looked at Tang Xiaoqian: "Leave this to me. Since I’m currently free, I’ll go check out what Yongsheng Trade and Commerce is really about!"

"Sure, I’ll trouble you then."

Tang Xiaoqian was very happy and quickly nodded.

Ling Feng smiled and patted her on the shoulder: "Don’t worry about anything, I’ve got it all covered!"

After saying this, he was about to head to the provincial capital but suddenly remembered Zhou Yi was nearby, so he took out his phone and called her.

Zhou Yi on the other end pouted: "Yeah right, you never say you miss me usually. Just tell me what’s up!"

"Okay, I’m in Tang Family Village and need to go to the provincial capital." Ling Feng said.

"Wait there, I’ll come pick you up!"

A few minutes later, she teleported over.

After they met, Zhou Yi asked, "What are you going to the provincial capital for?"

"A company wants to do business with the winery here. I want to investigate their background; it feels a bit odd." Ling Feng said.

"Oh, okay, come with me then."

Zhou Yi said, taking him directly to the provincial capital.

Upon arrival, Ling Feng looked around at the environment, finding himself in a high-rise apartment with a vast view of the provincial capital outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows. He turned around and asked, "This place is nice. Did the local bureau set you up here?"

"No, I rented it for convenience at work!"

Zhou Yi shook her head and continued, "It’s only a few minutes away from the bureau, so if anything happens, I can rush over to support immediately!"

Ling Feng acknowledged with a nod and then asked, "How’s it been since you came over?"

"Pretty good. As a deputy director, everyone treats me with respect." Zhou Yi replied.

"That’s good."

Ling Feng smiled and then said, "Everyone’s in a new environment, meeting different people. I wonder if they’re adapting as well as you are."

"Of course, it’s no problem. You don’t have to worry so much. This time everyone was parachuted into various bureaus. They all know it’s orders from headquarters, no one dares to take it lightly!"

Zhou Yi said, then continued, "Which company do you want to check out? Want me to accompany you?"

"No need. I’m just doing a background check to see if they really want to do business or if there’s something else going on."

Ling Feng smiled, continuing: "Even if they genuinely want to do business, I won’t agree to sign any orders with them. Apple wine doesn’t need any distribution help, it’s not hard to sell!"

"Alright, you go ahead and check. It’s noon already, I’ll make something for you to eat!"

Zhou Yi said, turning to the kitchen.

Ling Feng took out his phone to search a bit, browsing through all the available online information.

The company seemed small, with just over a dozen people, and registered capital of only one million.

Seeing this, Ling Feng scoffed: "With so little capital, they want to distribute apple wine? What are they thinking?"

He had already determined the other party were frauds.

Even if these people convinced Tang Xiaoqian, it would be useless. She couldn’t sign with them on her own. Once Ling Corporation’s people got involved, their tricks would be quickly exposed!

Thinking of this, Ling Feng figured that Yongsheng Trade and Commerce’s aim was likely contract fraud. Their claimed supply of raw materials was fake. When the quality of the apple wine became problematic or the production couldn’t keep up, they would demand compensation.

Ling Feng wasn’t naive, he quickly pieced together the hidden trick. So he put away the phone, thinking he should visit the company in the afternoon to see who had the audacity to target his business!

Zhou Yi soon prepared lunch, cooking a couple of dishes and a pot of rice.

Sitting down to eat, Ling Feng suddenly remembered something, looked up at her and said: "Us having a meal alone like this, it’s the first time, isn’t it?"

"Yes, what’s the matter?"

Zhou Yi was holding her chopsticks, looking up at him.

Ling Feng grinned: "Nothing, just feels a bit special."

Zhou Yi looked into his eyes, her lips curling slightly: "Not as nice as being with Shiyun and Jiaolan?"

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng was taken aback, then shocked: "What do you mean, you know about last night?"

"Everyone knows, did you expect it to be a secret?" Zhou Yi gave him a sidelong glance.

"Uh..."

Ling Feng felt a bit embarrassed, looked at her and asked: "Uh, nobody’s jealous, right?"

Zhou Yi pouted: "I’m definitely not. As for others, you might as well go ask them one by one!"

"Better not."
