Chapter 1585 - 1584: The Man with Glasses

After Ling Feng got in the car, he couldn’t control himself and gave Ergou a slap!

"Help, the police are hitting people!"

Stunned by the slap, Ergou shouted.

"Scream all you want, I’m not a cop, so shout however you like!" Ling Feng sneered.

"Who, who are you?"

Ergou was a bit dazed, looking up at him and asking.

"I’m Ling Feng, you should know this name, right?" Ling Feng squinted his eyes and asked.

The fierce and wicked look instantly shattered Ergou’s defenses. Although he was a street thug, this guy had a bit of a rogue air about him.

Ergou said softly with trembling lips.

"I don’t, I don’t know. He used to work for Mr. Matsumoto, but then I heard that the Dongying man had some trouble, and I don’t know what Da Peng did after that." Ergou said.

"Is that so?"

Ling Feng squinted his eyes and quickly asked, "Tell me, where does Da Peng live?"

"In Chengguan Town, on the outskirts, not far from here!" Ergou said.

He looked up at the policemen in the car; both nodded simultaneously, indicating that Chengguan Town wasn’t far from here.

Ling Feng then sneered, "I’ll go find Da Peng first. You’re lucky this time; I won’t hold you accountable for this!"

Ergou thought to himself, it shouldn’t be against me in the first place, I’m just there for show and didn’t get involved in the beating, it was Li Ge and Little Dong who did it.

He had no idea that while he was thinking this, other faces had already surfaced in Ling Feng’s mind, along with scenes of them fighting fiercely in Taohua Township.

Remembering these people, Ling Feng left the police car and returned to Chen Fei’s car, saying, "Let’s go to Chengguan Town!"

"Found the mastermind?"

Chen Fei asked while starting the car.

"Sort of, a guy named Da Peng. He seems to be acting on someone’s orders too, so we need to dig deeper!" Ling Feng said in a deep voice.

The car left the police station and drove along the street. After a few kilometers, they arrived at the urban-rural junction.

"This is Chengguan Town." Chen Fei said, pulling over.

"Alright, give me a few minutes!"

Ling Feng nodded, and his Divine Sense began scanning the small town.

He had already seen Da Peng’s image from Ergou’s mind, so he wasn’t worried about not finding him.

Very quickly, Ling Feng located a matching target.

It was a bald man about 1.8 meters tall, sitting in a small noodle shop in town.

Sitting across from him was a young man with glasses. The two sat opposite each other but didn’t talk, just ate their respective bowls of noodles.

Ling Feng directed Chen Fei to the location, then locked his Divine Sense onto Da Peng, waiting to catch him.

When the car reached the noodle shop, he pushed open the car door and rushed straight into the store!

The diners were startled, and many looked at him in surprise.

Ling Feng stepped up to Da Peng and said coldly, "Get up, you’re coming with me!"

The man in glasses across from Da Peng was startled and glanced up at him.

Da Peng was also a bit dazed, looking up at Ling Feng: "Who are you?"

"Who I am is not important. What’s important is you did something bad, and I’m here to make you pay for it!"

Ling Feng sneered and then grabbed Da Peng by his neck!

The nearly 200-pound man was lifted single-handedly!

Before stepping out, Ling Feng glanced at the man in glasses: "Don’t go anywhere; I’ll need to talk to you next!"

"Because I suspect you’re in cahoots with him!"

Ling Feng sneered, carried Da Peng out, and then tapped his acupuncture points, shoving him into the back seat.

Seeing him turn back towards the noodle shop, Chen Fei asked in surprise, "Why go back?"

"There’s another one inside; I think he’s the real target!"

Ling Feng said, heading back into the shop.

But the young man was already gone, clearly having run away.

Ling Feng sneered, expanded his Divine Sense, and found that the man had left through the back door of the noodle shop and was already running on the street!

Running only confirmed Ling Feng’s suspicion that he was the real mastermind, so without hesitation, he dashed out and blocked the man’s path like lightning!

The man in glasses was startled, took a step back, and asked nervously.

"Doing what?"

"Let’s find a secluded place." Ling Feng said calmly.

Chen Fei drove out of Chengguan Town and soon turned onto a small path.

Hardly any cars passed through here, making it a perfect place for interrogation.

The car stopped, and Ling Feng dragged the man in glasses out, releasing his acupuncture points;

"Now speak!"

"S-speak about what?" the man in glasses asked.

"Why did you send people to cause trouble at Daohuaxiang, and who ordered you?" Ling Feng demanded coldly.

The man in glasses rolled his eyes, then looked bewildered: "I don’t know what you’re talking about!"

Ling Feng smiled: "Really? Then why did I see a short plump middle-aged man named Watanabe in your mind?"

The man in glasses was utterly shocked, never expecting Ling Feng to mention his boss’s name!

While he was stunned, Ling Feng continued to ask, "Tell me, where is Watanabe?"

As soon as the question was asked, three words immediately popped into the man’s mind: "Tokyo."

Ling Feng was speechless, not expecting Watanabe to be in Dongying, not in Huaxia!
