Chapter 1546 - 1545: An Ran

At the western end of the village, a courtyard came into view.

This courtyard was indeed quite large. The walls were somewhat collapsed, so the inside situation could be seen from the outside.

As he reached the entrance of the forest farm, he saw someone standing outside—it was the girl from earlier.

The girl was more surprised than he was, widening her eyes as she asked, "Do you know me?"

Realizing his slip, Ling Feng quickly explained, "There aren’t many people here, so seeing you made me pause."

The girl relaxed, then asked, "Are you the boss of the mountain goods store?"

"Yes, I am. How did you know?" Ling Feng asked.

The girl, about eighteen or nineteen years old, wore jeans and sneakers, her face full of youth’s vibrancy and energy.

Seeing she seemed less guarded than earlier, Ling Feng wondered what she was up to.

The girl smiled, exposing two small canine teeth, "Your name is almost well-known throughout the township, so I certainly know!"

After speaking, she carefully inspected Ling Feng and then asked, "Besides, are you the Ling Feng?"

"Which Ling Feng?"

A bit confused by her words, Ling Feng asked.

"The one who’s the Island Master of Lingyun Island!" the girl replied.

An Ran still followed behind, her eyes full of curiosity.

"She’s still at home sleeping in!"

Chu Zhennan smiled, then addressed Ling Feng, "Mr. Ling, An Ran is my sister’s daughter, a straightforward personality—no signs of any impolite behavior, right?"

Ling Feng shook his head, smiled, and took a seat, directly addressing the issue, "Township Chief, since those two vacant areas are handed over to me, construction vehicles will start working soon. I want to ask, where should we dispose of the demolished houses and other construction waste?"
