Chapter 1516 - 1515: Chen Hong’s Shock

The three of them quickly arrived at the mountain slope across from Chen’s Village. Looking toward the village, they just happened to see the car at Chen Hong’s door driving away!

Sighing in relief, Ling Feng said, "Arriving early doesn’t beat arriving at the perfect time. Let’s go!"

Then he led the two girls down the hill and soon returned to Chen Hong’s home.

Chen Hong obviously did not expect them to return, so she quickly came out to greet them upon seeing the three in the yard: "Why are you back again?"

"Let me formally introduce you; this is Li Fei’er. She has a unique ability to communicate with animals!" Ling Feng chuckled.

"Sister, I heard you have a three-tailed fox, so I really wanted to come see it and, while I’m at it, study how to help it cultivate faster!" Li Fei’er said sweetly, smiling.

Upon hearing this, Chen Hong understood, and nodded, "Alright then, come inside with me!"

After speaking, she glanced at Ling Feng with a rather peculiar look.

Ling Feng wasn’t bashful and puzzledly asked, "What’s up?"

"What’s your relationship with this young lady?" Chen Hong asked directly, ignoring the presence of Li Fei’er and Yang Guang.

"What relationship? It’s none of your business!" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"Hmph!"

Chen Hong rolled her eyes and went straight into the house.

When Li Fei’er and Yang Guang followed her inside, they saw a flash of light as Chen Hong revealed her true appearance!

The two girls were both taken aback, simultaneously turning to look at Ling Feng.

"This is her real appearance now, but since we’re in the village, among familiar folks, she had to maintain her previous form!" Ling Feng explained.

"Is that how it is?"

Li Fei’er suddenly understood and quickly leaned forward to grab Chen Hong’s hand: "Sister, you’re so beautiful now!"

"Really? Thanks!"

Faced with the two young girls, Chen Hong lost all that disdain she had for Ling Feng and smiled warmly, completely void of temper.

Ling Feng felt at a loss for words watching this and subsequently asked, "So, shall we bring out the three-tailed fox?"

"It’s here!"

Chen Hong said, and the silver fox with three tails appeared beside her.

Li Fei’er’s eyes sparkled as she excitedly asked, "Can I pet you?"

The little fox named Little Li looked her over and nodded slightly.

Li Fei’er had an innate affinity for animals, making it impossible for Little Li to resist!

Next, Little Li became the treasure in the hands of her and Yang Guang.

Watching the two having fun petting, Chen Hong was fixated on the scene.

Ling Feng observed and asked, "Surprised, huh? Did you think Little Li would only be close to you?"

"Yes, before, it wouldn’t get close to anyone. This is unexpected!" Chen Hong replied.

Ling Feng chuckled, "Wait till we go to the area behind your house. You’ll be even more amazed by the animals Fei’er has!"

"Really?"

Upon hearing this, Chen Hong’s interest was piqued!

She glanced at Little Li, who was lying comfortably on the ground, rolling her eyes in delight, and grumbled, "You heartless creature, get up and come along!"

Little Li flipped over and stood up, made a grimace at Li Fei’er, wagging her tail as she followed them.

The group went to the back of the house and entered a cave.

Once inside, they found themselves in a special space, and Li Fei’er quickly commented, "Uncle, is this a space fragment too?"

Ling Feng shook his head, "Not sure, I haven’t asked."

"Little Li brought me here; there’s a small stone bracelet where if you place it anywhere, you can enter this space!" Chen Hong explained.

"So that’s it, then it certainly is a space fragment!" Li Fei’er declared.

"Yeah, alright. This place is spacious, so show her some of your animals, Fei’er!" Ling Feng said.

"Okay!"

Li Fei’er nodded, pondering a moment, "Which one should I bring out first?"

She glanced at Little Li, "Don’t be nervous, I’ll bring good friends who won’t bully you."

Little Li kept her eyes fixed on her, but obviously still showed some concern.

Without further words, a white light flashed in Li Fei’er’s hand, instantly bringing out a family of four brown bears.

These four were originally in the First Layer above; she specially brought them out for Chen Hong to see.

Following them, Wang Cai and Yellow were summoned out.

Little Bai came out, darting off and disappearing into the distant forest.

Finally, without bringing out other uniquely shaped creatures, Li Fei’er summoned Little Hong.

Seeing the Fire Qilin, Little Li shrieked and hid in Chen Hong’s arms.

Chen Hong wasn’t much better off, feeling the powerful aura emanating from Little Hong, she asked dumbfoundedly, "What is this?"

"It’s the Fire Qilin!"

Li Fei’er announced, then commanded, "Little Hong, show your power!"

"Woof woof!"

Little Hong let out a peculiar sound, roared towards the sky, and suddenly enlarged, flying straight up into the air!

Seeing it transform, Wang Cai and Yellow weren’t to be outdone and transformed as well!

Chen Hong, astounded, sat right down on the grass.

Gazing blankly at the sky and overhead, she was utterly dumbfounded.

"Sister Hong, don’t be afraid; they mean no harm!" Li Fei’er quickly reassured.

"Are these all Divine Beasts?"

Chen Hong asked with a trembling voice.

"Sort of, but they’re just superior in quality. Their abilities are still lacking; like Little Li, they can only communicate by sensing but can’t speak!" Li Fei’er explained.

"That’s already quite impressive!"

Chen Hong picked herself up, brushing off the grass from her backside, and glanced at Ling Feng: "You’re something, having such an impressive girl around!"

"I’m nothing special, there are even more amazing sisters in Nine Heavens!" Li Fei’er remarked.

Chen Hong paused, "Nine Heavens? What kind of place is that?"

Realizing she misspoke, Li Fei’er awkwardly stuck out her tongue, sneaking a glance at Ling Feng.

Ling Feng wasn’t bothered and laughed, "Nine Heavens is my territory, similar to here but much larger!"

"Oh? Can you take me to see?" Chen Hong asked.

"Sure!"

Ling Feng nodded, then turned the conversation, "But since we’re not anything to each other now, I can’t take you!"

Chen Hong paused, blushing, and lowered her head, "If that’s the case, I agree to be your girlfriend!"

"Uh..."

Ling Feng nearly stumbled to the ground!

Just then, he quickly stammered, "You’re overthinking it, that’s not what I meant!"

Li Fei’er listened and immediately teased, "Uncle, that’s exactly what you meant!"
