Chapter 1462: Living on the Island

The passage inside the tunnel shimmered with lights of various colors, clearly not formed naturally, exuding a strong sense of technology.

Ling Feng was momentarily stunned upon seeing it, not expecting the underground people to possess such advanced technology!

Initially, he thought they were like primitive aborigines, but now he realized that it was his own lack of knowledge, and he had underestimated them!

The underground people once again saluted Ling Feng and Li Fei’er, then slowly lined up and entered the passage, disappearing quickly.

As the last person entered, the rock slowly closed, returning to its original state, and Ling Feng was still a bit dazed.

Ling Feng nodded, turned to the edge of the volcano’s crater, and glanced outside.

The people who were here before had already returned to the foot of the mountain, where there were tents, indicating that they had been living here for some time.

However, they were packing up now, probably planning to leave.

Ling Feng didn’t pay much attention to them and, together with Li Fei’er, mounted Little Hong and flew into the sky.

By the time they returned to Lingyun Island, the sky had already darkened.

"Uncle, why don’t we stay here for the night?" Li Fei’er looked up and asked.

"Can we stay now?"

Ling Feng felt that although the house was built, it might not have been furnished inside, so he asked.

"Yes, everything for living is already in place. It’s just that the landscape trees and flowers outside haven’t been planted yet because Wan’er has been too busy; otherwise, everyone could have moved in already!" Li Fei’er said.

"Is that so?"

Ling Feng thought about it and, realizing that there wasn’t much to do back home, nodded: "Alright, let’s stay here for a night!"

So, the two of them walked to the entrance of a small building, and Li Fei’er pointed at the mark above the door: "See? This is my exclusive house!"

Ling Feng looked, and there was a beautiful painting, with a few bright flowers dotting amidst the green grass, looking very tasteful.

He then asked with a smile: "What? Have you all already divided up the houses?"

"Yeah, everyone gets a room, but Yang Guang and the others are too young, so they haven’t been assigned one, and they’re staying with me for now!"

Li Fei’er said as she entered the house.

Ling Feng followed her inside, and on the first floor was a small parlor, a bedroom, and a kitchen.

Though simple, it was very exquisite, and it was indeed fully furnished; the walls were painted a dreamy pink, giving a girlish vibe.

Ling Feng smiled, nodded, and said, "The design is really nice!"

"Of course, I personally oversaw the process!"

Li Fei’er said proudly, then pulled his hand: "Let’s go upstairs and take a look!"

"Alright!"

Ling Feng nodded, and the two went up the stairs to the second floor.

Their design was simpler here; besides a small bathroom, the entire space was just a large bedroom!

There was a double bed, a dressing table, and the floor was covered with fluffy carpets with various toys scattered around.

Seeing this scene made Ling Feng chuckle, and he patted Li Fei’er’s head: "Still just a little girl, anyone who didn’t know better would think it was a child’s room!"

"I’m not that old yet!"

Li Fei’er pouted, turned, and pressed the switch, and the room was suddenly bright!

"Can the subsidiary equipment be used now?"

Ling Feng asked as he walked towards the bathroom, where he turned on the taps to test them; there was already cold and hot water available!

"Yes, the plumbing is all usable!" Li Fei’er said from outside.

Li Fei’er heard what he was implying, so she shook her head: "No, there is a special device to collect household waste, so it won’t pollute the surrounding ocean!"

"That’s good then!"

Ling Feng nodded, showing he was very pleased.

Then Li Fei’er yawned, glanced at him, and said, "Uncle, I’m going to take a bath now!"

"Okay."

This girl had grown taller and more graceful recently, with a hint of a young woman’s charm.

As Ling Feng let his mind wander, Li Fei’er soon finished her bath and came out wrapped only in a small towel.
