Chapter 1339 Mysterious

After parting with Gu Li, Ling Feng went to Mo Jiaolan’s office.

He was met with a closed door, as she was no longer there.

Thinking she might be at Nine Heavens, Ling Feng was about to teleport back when his phone suddenly rang.

Seeing it was Sato Saori calling, Ling Feng was momentarily stunned but quickly answered, "What’s up?"

"Oh, so you snuck away while I wasn’t around?"

Sato Saori’s tone was unfriendly as she angrily asked, "Tell me, did you go messing around in Harbor Island’s red-light district?"

Ling Feng looked speechless, "What nonsense are you thinking about? I came back to drop something off, at Ling Corporation!"

"You went back?"

Sato Saori was stunned and then her voice rose eight degrees, "I traveled all the way to Harbor Island to find you, and yet you left without even saying a word?"

"Uh, what’s the rush? I never said I wouldn’t come back. Hang on; I’ll be there soon!"

Ling Feng, feeling helpless, quickly teleported to Nine Heavens and then used the teleportation array to return to his home on Harbor Island.

Seeing Sato Saori angrily sitting on the sofa, Ling Feng stepped forward, "Didn’t you say you were going to stay next door? Why are you looking for me again?"

"What do you think?" Sato Saori asked, exasperatedly.

Ling Feng chuckled, extending his arm to wrap around her shoulders, "What else could it be, you missed me!"

"Hmph, as if I’d miss you!"

Sato Saori struggled a bit, looking resentful.

Ling Feng knew she was just being petulant, so he didn’t hold back. He leaned in and kissed her, then easily pinned her on the sofa!

Sato Saori struggled for a bit but quickly gave up resisting, panting rapidly!

Ling Feng found it amusing as he pinned her down, while his hands started behaving mischievously!

After some affection, Sato Saori lay obediently in Ling Feng’s arms, her face lazy and relaxed.

By now it was midnight, and Ling Feng patted her shoulder, "Sleep."

"I’m not sleepy."

Sato Saori twisted her waist, then looked up at him, "Can I tell you something?"

"What is it?" Ling Feng asked.

"Sister Yi Tong likes you, you know that, right?" Sato Saori asked.

"I know, so what?" Ling Feng asked.

"You know and still play dumb? Can’t be a little proactive? Must you wait for her to confess?" Sato Saori rolled her eyes at him.

Ling Feng smiled wryly, "Why are you suddenly interjecting into this?"

"I can tell, Sister Yi Tong was even jealous of me. When I came to you earlier, her gaze was so mournful!" Sato Saori said.

"Ah, don’t worry about it. I’ll just let things happen naturally with her," Ling Feng said, helplessly.

"Anyway, I’ve reminded you. Do what you want!"

Sato Saori said, a bit speechless, pursing her lips.

Ling Feng looked at her, "What? You aren’t jealous?"

"If I got jealous, wouldn’t I end up souring myself to death?"

"Well, that’s true!"

Ling Feng chuckled, patting her head.

The two embraced and slept, as the night quickly passed. Just after waking up in the morning, Ling Feng received a call from Ah Tai.

Upon answering, Ling Feng asked, "What’s up?"

"Mr. Ling, has the transaction been completed?" Ah Tai asked.

"Yes, it went smoothly last night. I got what I wanted!" Ling Feng nodded.

Ah Tai made an "oh" sound from the other end, "That’s good!"

After saying that, he paused, "There’s something I want to tell you. That guy named Dick suddenly disappeared this morning!"

"Oh? How could that be?"

Ling Feng was stunned, then asked, "How do you know?"

"My guys were nearby, not intentionally watching him, just seeing who this guy was in contact with, but unexpectedly, there was chaos at his apartment this morning. My guys checked and found out something happened!" Ah Tai said.

"What happened?" Ling Feng asked in a deep voice.

"The apartment Dick was staying in wasn’t his. The owner arrived today and discovered someone living there, causing a fuss with the neighbors, but Dick wasn’t present, and he still hasn’t shown up!" Ah Tai said.

Ling Feng made an "oh" sound, then laughed, "This guy is quite mysterious, but don’t worry, I have nothing to do with him!"

After hanging up the phone, Ling Feng scratched his head, thinking that although Dick was mysterious, it was clear he didn’t pose any threat to him. When he needed to surface in the future, he should still be able to find him!

So he didn’t think much more, got up out of bed.

Sato Saori had already washed up and changed her clothes.

Seeing her dressed coolly, Ling Feng smiled and asked, "Where are you headed like this?"

"I’m going shopping with Sister Yi Tong, do you want to come?" Sato Saori asked.

Ling Feng smiled wryly, "Do I look like someone with that much free time? I still have a lot of things to do today, so I won’t join you guys!"

"I knew it!"

Sato Saori rolled her eyes, then asked, "So after you go back, are you not coming to Harbor Island?"

"I won’t be coming for a while, but if you need me, you can go to Nine Heavens!" Ling Feng said.

"Forget it, I’m not ready to meet all your girlfriends yet. I’ll call you if I need anything!" Sato Saori said.

Ling Feng didn’t mind, just nodded.

No sooner had they finished talking than Sato Saori’s phone rang, and after answering it, she started speaking in the Dongying language.

Ling Feng didn’t understand a word and didn’t want to know what the call was about, so he turned and went to the bathroom.

After he was done washing up, Sato Saori finished her call and looked at him, saying, "You shouldn’t leave today!"

"Why?" Ling Feng asked.

"Aunt Qingzi said she wants to meet with you!" Sato Saori said.

Seeing her usual expression, Ling Feng was puzzled and then asked, "What’s going on? Did you make up with her?"

"Yes, otherwise, why would I have taken her car last time?" Sato Saori countered.

Ling Feng nodded, "Oh, so why is she looking for me?"

"She has something to talk to you about. If you don’t mind, she’ll come here in the morning!" Sato Saori said.

"Alright then, I’ll wait. Are you staying too?" Ling Feng asked.

But Sato Saori shook her head, "No, Aunt wants to talk to you alone!"

Seeing her expression, Ling Feng was taken aback, then asked, "She’s not going to talk to me about us, is she?"

"I don’t know, maybe she will, but don’t worry, just refuse her request!" Sato Saori said.

"Alright."

Ling Feng nodded, thinking to himself that it better not be about that, otherwise it would be really hard to deal with!
