Chapter 1247 Scorpion-Tiger Beast
Chapter 1247 Scorpion-Tiger Beast
Ling Feng also thought this made sense, so he said with a bitter smile, "Squirrels probably don’t suck blood. Maybe it’s a creature that’s about the same size as a squirrel."
"That’s simple!"
Fei’er said, and then with a flash of light in her hand, Little Bai appeared on her shoulder.
With eyes like black beans, it looked around and then at Ling Feng. Little Bai seemed a bit bewildered, not knowing why Li Fei’er called it out.
"Go out from this hole and see what kind of creature has been in and out of here!" Li Fei’er said.
Little Bai squeaked, leaped forward, and transformed into a white light, dashing out of the hole!
Ling Feng watched wide-eyed, "Is this little guy that fast now?"
"It’s more than just fast! It’s going full speed, and our naked eyes can’t even follow it!" Li Fei’er said proudly.
"Oh? I didn’t expect that. It seems to be improving quickly!"
Ling Feng said, taking her hand and heading in the direction Little Bai went.
With his Divine Sense, he locked onto its figure, so Ling Feng wasn’t worried about Little Bai getting lost and followed it into the mountains.
Little Bai seemed to have found some clues, running through the mountains, and in the blink of an eye, it had covered two kilometers.
Ling Feng held Li Fei’er close as they followed, laughing, "This little guy is impressive, how does it have a sense of smell like Wang Cai’s?"
"That’s right, its nose is also very sharp. Sometimes when I’m eating something delicious in the Second Layer Heaven, it can come from the First Layer of Heaven to beg me for some!" Li Fei’er said.
Ling Feng: "...."
The two layers of heaven aren’t separated by distance but by space. This isn’t just about the sense of smell!
At this time, Little Bai had already reached the edge of their Divine Sense’s range, and without saying much, Ling Feng wrapped his arm around Li Fei’er’s waist and accelerated to catch up!
A moment later, they closed the distance, and Little Bai had reached a cliff and was crouching on the ground.
When Ling Feng and Li Fei’er caught up, it jumped onto Li Fei’er’s shoulder, chattering away.
After listening, Li Fei’er said to Ling Feng, "Uncle, Little Bai says the creature that killed the sow is inside that stone cave up there!"
Ling Feng looked up and saw a dark cave entrance on the stone wall more than ten meters high. The cave was not big, with a diameter about the size of a soccer ball.
With a sweep of his Divine Sense, he saw a black animal inside the cave, covered in dense Scale Armor, with a triangular head and eyes like green beans, and its teeth were not big but gleamed white!
Ling Feng had never seen such an animal before. After a glance, he thought, hiding wouldn’t save you! A sow costs nearly ten thousand bucks, you’ll have to pay for my loss!
So he turned to Little Bai and said, "Go up there and drag that thing out for me!"
Little Bai looked at him, not moving, and even squeaked twice!
"It says it doesn’t listen to you!" Li Fei’er laughed.
Ling Feng rolled his eyes, this little guy still held a grudge about the Stonemarrow incident!
Li Fei’er then said to Little Bai, "You don’t have to listen to him, but you must listen to me, go!"
Only then did Little Bai squeak and quickly dash up the stone wall.
In a flash, a series of chirping sounds came from inside the cave!
Ling Feng kept his Divine Sense focused inside, only to find the black and white creatures already biting each other.
"Is it that fierce?"
He thought Little Bai was already impressive, but who’d have guessed the black creature was even fiercer, matching it evenly!
Seeing Little Bai’s white fur falling off, Ling Feng felt a bit distressed!
Even though this guy had a bad attitude toward him, it was still on their side!
So he hurriedly said to Li Fei’er, "We can’t let it continue, it would be bad if it gets injured!"
Li Fei’er couldn’t see what was happening in the cave, but hearing Ling Feng, she knew things weren’t good. Unexpectedly, she snorted, "No need, let it train properly. Otherwise, all it does is eat and sleep, it’s about to become useless!"
"Uh..."
Ling Feng was speechless, but he said nothing, just kept his Divine Sense on the cave.
Due to the narrowness of the cave, neither animal could fully stretch out, so after a bit of biting, Little Bai and the creature rushed out of the cave!
Now in the open, they could really start fighting, and the two creatures began a full battle!
Ling Feng found it amusing and simply found a rock to sit on.
Seeing this, Li Fei’er didn’t hesitate and sat down on his lap.
After observing for a while, Little Bai gradually gained the upper hand, though it lost some fur, its skin seemed tougher, without any wounds.
The black creature wasn’t as fortunate; despite its Scale Armor, several wounds had been bitten into it by Little Bai, with flesh turned inside out!
Seeing this, Ling Feng laughed, "Looks like Little Bai will win after all!"
"Of course, how could something I raise be useless!" Li Fei’er said proudly.
Moments later, the black creature was about done, its movements became sluggish, and seeing this, Little Bai turned into a blur and pounced at its throat!
With a splat, a huge hole appeared in the creature’s throat!
Poetic justice, it bit to death a sow, and Little Bai killed it the same way!
Watching the black animal fall lifeless, Ling Feng couldn’t help but laugh.
However, he had barely enjoyed his victory when a roar came from the forest: "How dare you hurt my Scorpion-Tiger Beast!"
The moment those words dropped, a Taoist wearing an apricot-yellow robe emerged from the forest.
Ling Feng and Li Fei’er were both stunned, exchanging a glance.
How did a Taoist show up in these remote mountains?
While they were puzzled, the Taoist approached quickly, became furious as he saw the dead Scorpion-Tiger Beast below!
He looked up, pointing at Ling Feng and yelling, "Did you kill it?"
Little Bai had already returned to Li Fei’er’s shoulder, grooming its fur.
Ling Feng smiled, looking at the Taoist, and asked, "This thing is yours?"
"That’s right, you’ve got some nerve, killing a beloved pet of the Taoist!" the Taoist raged.
"Found the owner, even better!"
Ling Feng laughed, gesturing for Li Fei’er to get off his lap, stood up and said, "I was wondering who to demand money from, now that you’ve come to claim it, pay up!"
He said, extending his hand toward the Taoist.
"Money? What money?"
The Taoist was bewildered, eyes wide as saucers.
"Your pet killed the 300-pound sow I just bought, I want compensation for it!" Ling Feng said.
"Hahaha, that’s hilarious! My pet bit your pig, that’s your honor, and you dare ask for money?" The Taoist laughed as if he’d heard the most ridiculous joke.
No sooner had he finished speaking, than he felt a blur before his eyes, followed by two slaps to his face!
The crisp sound echoed through the valley, and while the Taoist was still dazed, Li Fei’er had returned to Ling Feng’s side, saying coldly, "Arrogant fool, doesn’t know his limits!"
