Zhang He was startled when he heard that and then asked in astonishment, "What do you mean, are you planning to destroy their base?"

"Not necessarily, we’ll see how things go!" Ling Feng laughed.

"Um, I advise you to think twice about this; it could cause huge trouble!" Zhang He said.

"Relax, I won’t expose myself. At worst, I’ll just make sure they all keep quiet!" Ling Feng said sinisterly.

Zhang He was speechless, then quickly said, "Don’t rush, think it over first. I’ll help you find out what bases are nearby and who might be attacking you!"

"Okay, no rush. I’m taking action at night; there’s still plenty of time!" Ling Feng said.

After hanging up, he looked at Long Xiaoyu, who had thrown away her previous bottle of red wine and now pulled out another one, happily drinking.

Seeing Ling Feng looking at her, Long Xiaoyu asked, "What is it?"

"Nothing, you keep drinking slowly. We’ll wait a bit before taking action, once it’s dark." Ling Feng laughed.

"Their radar is so powerful, can we fly over at night?" Long Xiaoyu asked.

"That’s a good question!"

Ling Feng nodded, thought for a moment, then said, "Looks like flying isn’t an option; we’ll have to proceed on foot, that’s safer!"

"Hmm, let’s see how far it is. If it’s too far, we should set off early!" Long Xiaoyu nodded.

Seeing her slightly flushed face, Ling Feng couldn’t help but ask, "Haven’t you had enough? Don’t drink too much!"

"It’s fine; two more bottles won’t be a problem!" Long Xiaoyu said carelessly, pulling out another bottle, "Want some? Calm your nerves?"

Ling Feng’s back still hurt a bit, so after considering, he said, "Alright, I’ll have some too!"

Though meant to calm nerves, it really had that effect.

The two weren’t sitting in the open but under a large tree, shielded by the canopy, so they weren’t spotted by the aircraft.

Ling Feng was speechless, furrowing his brows and said, "Impressive methods, they can actually trace us here!"

"How did they do that?" Long Xiaoyu curiously asked.

Ling Feng was stumped by the question, then shook his head, "I really don’t know."

"Should we shoot that plane down?" Long Xiaoyu asked again.

Ling Feng thought for a moment and shook his head, "Better not, I don’t want to expose the target; it would affect tonight’s action!"

"Oh."

Long Xiaoyu was just asking and did not insist.

The drone hovered for a while, and whether it found anything suspicious or not, it soon flew away.

Just as it left, the distant helicopter’s rumble sounded again, making Ling Feng’s heart leap, then he said to Long Xiaoyu, "Trouble!"

"What?"

Long Xiaoyu was startled, seeing him tense, she asked.

"I forgot, that drone is a reconnaissance device. Although we’re under the tree out of sight, the heat signature must be detectable!"

Ling Feng then realized why the plane circled twice and left, it was leaving the battlefield!

Now hearing the helicopter’s sound, it might be coming to attack!

Thinking of this, he hurriedly grabbed Long Xiaoyu’s hand, "No choice, we have to go!"

"Why leave, might as well shoot it down too!" Long Xiaoyu pouted.

"Shooting this one down would bring more aircraft later, all these would be wasteful, I still want to snatch a few!"

Ling Feng said as he held her hand and sprinted.

Indeed, they had just left when the tree where they rested came under a fierce attack!

The helicopter’s machine guns and rockets fired simultaneously, turning the area into a sea of fire in an instant!

"Uh, I just found out, the Americans have aimed their most advanced satellites at your location!" Zhang He said.

"Really? So now where we are isn’t safe either?" Ling Feng asked.

"Yes, I advise you to find somewhere more concealed." Zhang He said.

"Oh, are the Americans really going to such lengths to find me!" Ling Feng asked helplessly.

Zhang He chuckled on the other end, "You’re overthinking it. According to the latest intel, their focus on airspace security is mainly due to a significant figure visiting a military base!"

"Who?" Ling Feng immediately asked.

"Not sure yet, only know that the American Sixth Fleet has been deployed for escort, clearly not an ordinary person." Zhang He said.

"Really?"

Ling Feng smacked his lips, a thought occurred to him.

But then Zhang He immediately said, "You better not have any bad ideas, trouble with someone of that level would be equivalent to war, the impact would be huge!"

"Oh."

Ling Feng listened and immediately dispelled his previous thought, then said, "In that case, I’ll leave them alone for now."
