Chapter 1195: Searching for the Entrance

Several small boats sped across the sea. Because the ocean was so vast, Ling Feng didn’t know how far he had traveled. Anyway, everything around was blue, with no landmarks in sight.

It wasn’t until the time on the phone showed 2 PM that a black dot appeared on the sea ahead. Jia Ba pointed in that direction and said, "Mr. Ling, that’s the Treasure Island!"

Ling Feng already knew about the situation at the treasure point. Although Jia Ba and others knew about this place, getting in to take Red Sea King’s treasure wasn’t that easy.

To protect his acquired wealth, the Red Sea King built a bunker on the island made of reinforced concrete, with walls over two meters thick!

"Then, can we go home?" someone cautiously asked.

"No!"

Ling Feng firmly denied.

Then he turned to look at everyone: "Wait here for me. We’ll talk after I find the treasure. If anyone tries to escape, I’ll make sure they drown in the sea within a hundred meters of the island!"

No one doubted Ling Feng’s words, and so everyone shuddered!

Then Ling Feng looked at Jia Ba: "You come with me!"

"Okay, okay!"

Jia Ba dared not disobey and followed with a grimace.

Ling Feng had already activated his Divine Sense and found the location of the treasure trove, which was in a large circular concrete structure under the cliff among the bushes.

But before heading over, Ling Feng suddenly tightened his gaze and said to Jia Ba: "If you don’t want to die, you better not run around later!"

"I understand, Mr. Ling. Don’t worry, I won’t run!"

Ling Feng smiled without saying more and stepped forward.

At the same time, a Short Dagger appeared in his hand.

He brought out the God Slayer Saber because Ling Feng just discovered that the area around the treasure trove was not calm; there were actually several leopards around!

He couldn’t imagine why such an animal was on this deserted island, but it must have been set up by the Red Sea King to protect his treasure.

Just as he approached, a leopard with black spots all over its body noticed Ling Feng’s presence and turned to look at him.

Jia Ba followed Ling Feng obliviously, unaware of the impending danger.

A moment later, several leopards slowly rose and quietly crept into the bushes, surrounding this side.

Ling Feng was shocked to see this—they were trained leopards!

This encirclement tactic was something an ordinary person couldn’t handle!

Stepping forward, he gradually walked into the circle of leopards, keeping his Divine Sense locked on their movements to see how they would attack him.

After walking another two meters, several shadows flashed through the bushes, and all the leopards charged at him!

The blade flashed, slicing open the bellies of two leopards mid-air!

The remaining two quickly dodged, evading Ling Feng’s blade.

Another leopard leaped towards Jia Ba, its sharp fangs and claws aiming straight for his throat. The boy was so scared he was petrified, unable to move!

Seeing this, Ling Feng had no choice but to act. A flash of the blade sliced through the leopard’s spine!

Then, with lightning speed, he killed the remaining two leopards.

It was only then that Jia Ba recovered, plopping down on the ground, exhaling in relief: "My God, lucky..."

"Lucky you didn’t secretly bring people with you, right?"

Ling Feng smiled: "If you brought people yourself, all of them would probably die here!"

"I never knew there were such animals here. I didn’t see them when I came with the boss before!" Jia Ba said, dumbfounded.

"If you knew, wouldn’t you be prepared? What would be the point then?"

Ling Feng gave him a glance, brandished the saber, and continued onward.

Soon, they passed through the bushes and reached the large concrete structure. Looking up, Ling Feng frowned!

"Mr. Ling, this was originally a cave. Later, the boss stored his plundered treasures inside and sealed the entrance with concrete. But we all know there’s a different entrance here; we just can’t find it!" Jia Ba explained from the side.

"I know!"

Ling Feng nodded. The Red Sea King couldn’t have just sealed the treasures inside forever without moving them—it was impossible!

Moreover, this guy definitely wouldn’t just stash one batch of treasures. Wouldn’t he need to store the ones collected later as well?

Ling Feng squinted and began scanning the rock face with his Divine Sense, searching for the entrance.

But unfortunately, all the Divine Sense could detect were tiny rock crevices with nothing inside.

He scanned the entire rock face without finding any trace of an entrance, leaving Ling Feng a bit puzzled.

Just then, a sound of flapping wings suddenly came from the sky. Both of them looked up and were stunned!

It was a large bird with a wingspan over two meters, whose circling flight in the sky even blocked out the sunlight in a large area!

Seeing the bird, Jia Ba was dumbfounded, eyes wide in shock, body slightly trembling.

"What’s wrong? What is it?" Ling Feng asked curiously.

"It’s the Red Sea King’s pet, the Fire Phoenix!" Jia Ba said, trembling.

"Isn’t it just a bird? Why the fuss?" Ling Feng asked, somewhat speechless.

"You don’t know, Mr. Ling. This Fire Phoenix is very formidable; it can breathe fire, and once ignited, it can’t be extinguished!" Jia Ba explained while seeking a place to hide.

Ling Feng merely smiled: "Unquenchable fire, it’s nothing more than Five Elements Fire. This doesn’t pose any threat to me!"

Seeing Jia Ba scared out of his wits, Ling Feng smiled, looked up at the red bird, and sneered, "If you’ve got the guts, come down and see if I don’t kill you!"

The Fire Phoenix seemingly understood human speech, and upon hearing Ling Feng’s words, let out a loud screech and dived down fiercely!
