The moment the three evil gods appeared, the pressure around the throne changed instantly and completely.

Kael did not move from his seat.

He remained on the throne with his body still and his eyes half open but the crimson lines across him pulsed violently in a way that made the air around the throne feel unstable.

Streams of faith continued to pour into him from below and the power around him surged and destabilized at the same time, pulling in opposite directions like a rope being stretched from both ends.

He was not complete.

He was in the middle of ascension and that made him vulnerable in a way that all three of them clearly understood and had timed themselves around.

Peru moved first.

"Kekekekeke!"

His distorted body stretched forward and tore through space as he lunged toward the throne. His arm warped into a jagged mass of something that didn't follow normal physical rules and struck down toward Kael with crushing force that bent the space around it as it came.

At the same time the Lord of Abyssal Sect expanded and darkness swallowed everything around the throne. It did not rush or crash in. It spread slowly like something inevitable, cutting off every direction one by one and pressing inward to devour Kael along with the throne itself.

The Crimson Demoness followed without a word. Her crimson aura bloomed outward like a flower soaked in blood and threads of red energy wrapped around Kael from all sides, tightening and piercing toward him with silent and deliberate precision.

Kael's eyes opened slightly , filled with annoyance.

"You idiots," he muttered and his voice was low but filled with irritation that had nothing uncertain about it.

His fingers twitched against the armrest.

A surge of slaughter authority erupted from his body and hit all three attacks at the same moment.

BOOOOOOM!

Peru's strike split apart and the crimson threads shredded and even the abyss trembled under the impact and pulled back slightly from the force of it. But Kael did not stand. He remained seated and that was the problem because the power he released was unstable. It surged and then faltered for a brief moment and that moment was enough.

The abyss pressed deeper again.

Peru reformed instantly the way he always did and lunged a second time, closing the full distance so that his grotesque face came into clear view with that twisted grin stretching wider across it than it had any right to go.

The Crimson Demoness tightened her control and her threads pierced through the gaps in Kael's power, slipping past the outer layer and closing in toward him from angles that the first wave had opened up.

Kael clicked his tongue and his expression turned darker.

"Cowards," he said and his voice was sharper now with something behind it that wasn't quite anger but was close enough. "If I was at full power, you might have pissed yourself."

His hand lifted slightly and the throne beneath him responded to it. It pulsed once and a wave of distorted authority surged outward again, more violent this time than the last, forcing the crimson threads back and tearing through Peru's advancing form before it could close the remaining distance.

BOOOOOOM!

Peru's body exploded apart again and scattered across the space around the throne.

But it did not matter because he reformed instantly and laughed even louder than before.

"Kekekekeke!"

The abyssal Lord did not retreat. It expanded further and the pressure grew heavier with each second that passed. Kael's back pressed slightly against the throne as the combined force of all three of them pushed against him steadily and without letting up.

For the first time he was being forced back.

The space behind the throne cracked and the crimson star flickered as the pressure built around it. The ascension was incomplete and the integration was unstable and all three of them knew it and were pressing every advantage it gave them.

The abyss crushed inward from one side and Peru struck again from another and the Crimson Demoness sealed the surrounding space with layers of killing intent that left fewer and fewer directions that weren't already accounted for.

Kael's eyes narrowed and the crimson lines across his body flared wildly as the madness that was always sitting at the edge of his mind tried to rise again and clashed against his control from the inside while everything else pressed from the outside.

Just as the situation was getting worse,a sound tore across the battlefield from somewhere beyond the dimension entirely.

A deep and violent roar of force cutting through everything in its path without slowing down. The sky did not crack. It split open from one side to the other and through that split a massive war hammer descended, tearing through layers of space as if they were made of nothing worth respecting.

Its presence alone shattered the stars around it as it passed through them.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The hammer slammed directly into the Lord of Abyssal Sect and the impact was catastrophic in the most complete sense of the word.

The abyss collapsed and the darkness shattered as the force tore through its structure and ripped it across the universe in pieces. Entire sections of it were crushed and scattered like fragments of something that had forgotten it could break. Shockwaves spread outward and kept spreading and destroyed everything they moved through on the way.

Even Peru's laughter stopped for a brief moment.

The Crimson Demoness paused and her threads went still.

Kael's gaze lifted slightly from the throne for the first time since the attack had begun.

"Hohhoo."

The voice came through the split in the sky and it carried the easy, unbothered tone of someone arriving casually.

"It's war and I am not invited. How sad."

The space tore open the rest of the way and a bald head with a thick beard stepped through it with an axe resting against one shoulder,and eyes moving across the battlefield with the calm assessment.

The moment he fully appeared every presence on the battlefield felt it and everyone expressions stiffened.
