Chapter 552 552: 552

BOOOOOOOOM!

The impact tore through the battlefield and sent shockwaves in every direction that could be felt across the entire dimension.

As Christina and Steampunk pressed their assault on Eric, something changed in the air without warning.

A presence arrived.

It simply settled over everything like a weight being placed on top of the world and the moment it did, both of them went still. Not from choice but because their bodies recognized what it was before their minds finished processing it.

Eric's smile spread slowly across his face and it was the smile of someone who had been waiting for exactly this moment.

"Ahahah. It seems they are here."

He let that sit for a second and then continued with the easy confidence of someone who had already decided the outcome before the fight began.

"It's over. You didn't expect them to hide forever, right."

Christina's senses swept outward immediately and her eyes moved to Steampunk beside her. He looked back at her and the word he gave her was simple and direct.

"Go back."

She moved without hesitation and her power of Concealment and Mystery spread outward from her in layers, wrapping around Kael like something being pulled out of sight.

Her intent was straightforward.

Protect Kael and defend as much as possible and buy whatever time could be bought cause once Kael ascends,it would be over for others.

Then the Gods appeared.

The Goddess of Light came first and her presence was blinding in a way that had nothing to do with the eyes.

Pure radiant authority poured off her in waves that bent the space around her simply by existing inside it. The Goddess of Creation followed and reality itself seemed to become uncertain near him, as if the rules holding things together were being quietly renegotiated.

The God of Destruction arrived last and where the others filled space with presence, he emptied it. Everything near him felt like it was already in the process of ending.

All three of them struck Kael at the same moment and the force of it hit Christina's concealment like three separate oceans crashing into a single wall.

She moved into it.

The Goddess of Light's power came down in a column that erased everything it touched with a clean and total completeness that felt almost polite in how absolute it was. Christina's concealment folded around it, bending the trajectory, hiding the point of impact from the logic of the attack itself so that it landed somewhere that didn't fully exist.

The God of Creation moved his hand and something began building around Kael, a structure of fundamental reality being rewritten from the base up to exclude him from it. Christina pushed her mystery into the seams of

it and made the construction lose track of what it was building toward.

The God of Destruction simply pressed and where he pressed things stopped. Christina pulled Kael's presence sideways into hidden layers and the destruction passed through a version of the space that she had quietly made into a copy.

The Goddess of Light paused for a moment and looked at Christina the way someone looks at an insect that has landed on something expensive.

"Idiot" she said, her voice carrying the bored certainty of someone who has never seriously considered losing anything. "How quaint. Do you actually believe that hiding things from sight means hiding them from us?"

"Do you really think you can!?"

"How naive?"

She didn't wait for a response and raised her hand again.

The light that came down this time was different.

It was revelation, the kind of light that doesn't illuminate so much as it refuses to allow anything to remain unseen. It pressed against Christina's concealment not with force but with the simple insistence that nothing could be hidden from it.

Christina's expression stayed even as the pressure built against her and she layered more of herself into the defense, pulling Mystery deeper over Kael's position.

In the space that the three Gods were creating between their combined assault, Kael decide to move.

"I can't remain massive."

And he just hates the feeling of being protected and watching others helplessly.

His slaughter gathered and condensed into a single enormous spear that formed in the space above him, built entirely from killing intent so concentrated it had taken on physical weight and shape.

He drove it forward through the layers of the battle with everything behind it and it crossed the distance between him and the three Gods like something that had decided the space in between didn't matter.

All three of them shook.

Not from damage alone but from the recognition of what they had just felt hit them. The authority behind that strike was not borrowed or gifted. It was entirely and specifically his.

But before the moment could settle more figures began arriving and at the front of them was the God of Storm whose presence crackled through the air like the sky itself had developed a temper.

And then Kael felt it.

His blood reacted. Something inside him pulled and twisted in a direction he hadn't authorized and he knew immediately what it was.

"Fuck," he said.

The Veydrin blood.

The blood of Veydrin carries blessings from the God of Storm.

It was still inside him and it was responding to his presence like a key hearing the lock it was made for. It was trying to cause a rampage from inside his own body and the timing of it was not a coincidence.

"Give up Leonard!"God of Storm voice shook sending shockwaves of lightning across the sky

"Shut up…"Kael's voice erupted across the world with a terrifying wave.

He closed his eyes and focused.

His intent of slaughter turned inward with surgical precision and cut through his own body, tearing apart the bloodline where it ran and driving his killing intent through it to erase the blessing before it could take hold completely. It worked but the cost of turning that force on himself was immediate and real and he felt the damage settle into him as it disturbed his mental peace making the ascension unstable.

Seeing the situation moving beyond what could be managed through conventional defense, Elaris made her decision.

She decided to use her trump card.

She moved causing dark power across the world to respond..Power of faith collected over several centuries coagulated.

"Domain of Mystic Concleament."

SWISHHH.

The Domain of Mystic Concealment opened around them and under it everything vanished completely.

Everything inside the domain stopped existing in a way that could be found, tracked, targeted, or perceived by anything standing outside of it. The Gods, the battle, the strikes still mid-air, all of it hit the boundary of the domain and lost its way.

For the moment, everything inside it was simply gone from the world's awareness.
